< Luka 22 >
1 Azɔ Abolo Maʋamaʋã ƒe Ŋkekenyui si woyɔna be Ŋutitotoŋkeke la te tu aƒe.
Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called ‘Passover’, drew near.
2 Le ɣeyiɣi sia me la, Yudatɔwo ƒe nunɔlagãwo kple agbalẽfialawo nɔ ŋugble dem vevie le mɔ si dzi woato awu Yesu, ale be ʋunyaʋunya madzɔ le dukɔa me o la ŋuti, elabena wonɔ vɔvɔ̃m na dukɔa me viwo.
And the chief priests and the scribes were looking for a way to kill Him, because they feared the people.
3 Azɔ Satana ge ɖe Yuda Iskariɔt, ame si nye nusrɔ̃la wuieveawo dometɔ ɖeka la me,
Then Satan entered Judas (the one surnamed Iscariot), who was numbered among the Twelve.
4 ale wòyi nunɔlagãwo kple gbedoxɔmesrafowo ƒe amegãwo gbɔ be yeade aɖaŋu kple wo le mɔ nyuitɔ si dzi yeato ade Yesu asi na wo la ŋuti.
So he went off and conferred with the chief priests and officers about how he might betray Him to them.
5 Edzɔ dzi na ameawo ŋutɔ be Yuda le klalo be yeakpe ɖe yewo ŋu, eya ta wodo ga home aɖe ŋugbe nɛ.
They were glad, and agreed to give him silver coins.
6 Tso esia dzi la, Yuda de asi ɣeyiɣi nyuitɔ si me woalé Yesu le amehawo ƒe manyamanya me la didi me.
So he promised, and started looking for an opportunity to betray Him to them, without a crowd.
7 Azɔ Ŋutitotoŋkekenyui si dzi wowua ŋutitotolẽvi la le, eye woɖanɛ kple amɔ maʋamaʋã ƒe abolo la ɖo edzi.
Then came the day of unleavened bread, in which it was necessary to kill the Passover lamb.
8 Yesu dɔ Petro kple Yohanes be woado ŋgɔ aɖawɔ dzadzraɖo na yewoƒe Ŋutitotoŋkekea ɖuɖu.
And He sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”
9 Wobia be, “Afi ka nèdi be míayi aɖadzra ɖo?”
So they said to Him, “Where do you want us to prepare?”
10 Eɖo eŋu na wo be, “Ne miege ɖe Yerusalem dua me teti ko la, miakpɔ ŋutsu aɖe si lé tsize ɖe ta wòazɔ va yina. Mikplɔe ɖo, eye miage ɖe aƒe si me wòage ɖo la me,
He said to them: “Note, upon entering the city a man carrying a jar of water will meet you; follow him into the house which he enters.
11 eye miagblɔ na aƒea tɔ be, ‘Míaƒe Nufiala be míbia wò be: Afi ka dzeƒe le, afi si nye kple nye nusrɔ̃lawo míaɖu Ŋutitotoŋkekenyui la le?’
Then you must say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you: Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’
12 Aƒea tɔ akplɔ mi ayi dziƒoxɔa dzi, eye wòafia xɔ gã aɖe si me wodzra ɖo la mi. Teƒe lae nye ema. Miyi, eye miaɖo kplɔ̃ ɖe afi ma.”
He himself will show you a large upper room, all furnished; make preparations there.”
13 Woyi dua me, eye wokpɔ be nu sia nu si Yesu gblɔ na wo la va eme tututu, ale wowɔ Ŋutitotoŋkeke la ƒe nuɖuɖu ɖoɖo da ɖi.
So off they went and found things just as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.
14 Yesu kple nusrɔ̃la mamlɛawo va ɖo le ɣeyiɣi si woɖo ɖi la me, eye wo katã wonɔ kplɔ̃a ŋu hena nua ɖuɖu.
When the hour had come, He reclined, and the twelve apostles with Him.
15 Yesu gblɔ na nusrɔ̃lawo be, “Menɔ mɔ kpɔm vevie be maɖu Ŋutitotoŋkekea ƒe nuɖuɖu sia kpli mi hafi nye fukpekpewo nadze egɔme.
Then He said to them: “I have fervently desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.
16 Elabena medi be mianya fifia be nyemagaɖui akpɔ o, va se ɖe esime woɖe nu si tututu wònye la ɖe go le mawufiaɖuƒea me.”
I tell you further that I will not eat of it again until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”
17 Azɔ etsɔ wainkplu ɖeka, eye esi wòda akpe ɖe eta vɔ la, egblɔ na wo be, “Mixɔe, eye ame sia ame nanoe.
And taking a cup He gave thanks and said: “Take this and share it among yourselves.
18 Elabena mele egblɔm na mi be nyemagano waintsetse aɖeke me tsi akpɔ o, va se ɖe esime mawufiaɖuƒe la va.”
I tell you further that I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes.”
Miwɔ esia hena ŋkuɖoɖo dzinye.”
Then, after the meal, He took bread, gave thanks, broke and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
20 Eye nenema ke wòtsɔ kplu la le fiẽnuɖuɖu la megbe hegblɔ be, “Kplu sia nye nubabla yeye le nye ʋu si wokɔ ɖe anyi le mia ta la me.
He also took the cup, saying: “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.
21 Ke yonyememɔfiala ƒe asi le kplɔ̃a dzi kplim.
“But alas, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table!
22 Ele be Amegbetɔ Vi la naku abe ale si Mawu ɖoe ene. Gake baba na ame si adee asi!”
To be sure, the Son of the Man is going as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!”
23 Nusrɔ̃lawo tsa ŋku godoo le wo nɔewo dome hebia be ame kae le nu sia tɔgbi wɔ ge.
(They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who was about to do this.)
24 Azɔ ʋiʋli ɖo nusrɔ̃lawo dome le ame si anye gãtɔ la ŋu.
Now there had actually been a discussion among them as to which of them seemed to be greater.
25 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Xexe sia me fiawo ɖua aƒetɔ ɖe wo teviwo dzi, eye amegã bubuwo hã tea wo teviwo ɖe to, gake teviawo bua ame siawo katã amenuvelawoe.
So He said to them: “The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors’.
26 Gake mele be wòanɔ nenema le mia dome o, ame si di be yeanye miaƒe amegã la, newɔ eɖokui subɔlae.
But not so with you—rather let the greater among you become as the younger, and he who leads as he who serves.
27 Le xexea me la, aƒetɔ nɔa kplɔ̃ ŋu, eye eƒe subɔviwo va subɔnɛ. Gake esia mele mia dome le afii o! Elabena nyee nye miaƒe subɔvi.
Who is greater, the one reclining or the one serving? Is it not the one reclining? Yet I am among you as the one who serves.
28 Miawoe nye ame siwo do dzi nɔ anyi kplim le nye tetekpɔwo me,
However, you are those who have continued with me in my trials.
29 eye nye la mele fiaɖuƒe ɖom anyi na mi abe ale si Fofonye ɖo fiaɖuƒe anyi nam ene.
And I bestow on you a kingdom, just as my Father bestowed one on me,
30 Miaɖu nu, ano nu le kplɔ̃ ŋu kplim le fiaɖuƒe ma me. Hekpe ɖe esia ŋu la, mianɔ fiazikpuiwo dzi adrɔ̃ ʋɔnu Israel ƒe tokɔ wuieveawo.”
so that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom; also you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel!”
31 Yesu gblɔ na Petro be, “Simɔn, Simɔn, Satana le mi katã dim be yeagbɔ mi abe ale si wogbɔa bli ene.
Then the Lord said: “Simon, Simon! Indeed Satan has asked for you (pl) so as to sift you like wheat.
32 Gake medo gbe ɖa ɖe tawò be wò xɔse magabu keŋ o. Ale nenye be èdze si wò vodada, eye nègatrɔ va gbɔnye la, do ŋusẽ nɔviwò mamlɛawo hã, eye nàtu woƒe xɔse ɖe edzi.”
But I have prayed for you (sg) so that your faith not fail completely; so you, when you have recovered, strengthen your brothers.”
33 Simɔn ɖo eŋu be, “Aƒetɔ, mele klalo be mayi gaxɔ me kpli wò, eye maku kpli wò gɔ̃ hã.”
But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”
34 Gake Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Petro na magblɔ nya aɖe na wò. Va se ɖe etsɔ fɔŋli hafi koklo naku atɔ la, àgbe nu le gbɔnye zi etɔ̃ be yemenyam gɔ̃ hã o.”
So He said, “I say to you, Peter, no rooster can crow today before you deny three times that you know me!”
35 Azɔ Yesu bia nusrɔ̃lawo be, “Esi medɔ mi be miyi ɖagblɔ nyanyui la eye mietsɔ ga, mɔzɔkotoku alo awu eve ɖe asi o eye miedo afɔkpa hã o ɖe, nane hiã mia?” Woɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Naneke mehiã mí o.”
Then He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” And they said, “Nothing.”
36 Eyi edzi be, “Azɔ la, mitsɔ mɔzɔkotoku nenye be ɖe le mia si. Mitsɔ ga hã ɖe asi, eye ne yi mele mia dometɔ aɖe si o la, nedzra eƒe awuwo wòatsɔ ga la aƒle ɖee.
So He said to them: “But now, he who has a money bag should take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword must sell his garment and buy one.
37 Elabena ɣeyiɣi la ɖo bena nya si woŋlɔ ɖi tso ŋunye la nava eme be, ‘Wowui ɖe nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo dome.’ Le nyateƒe me la, nya siwo katã nyagblɔɖilawo gblɔ tso ŋunye la ava eme.”
Because I say to you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was classed with the lawless’; and because the things concerning me have an end.”
38 Woɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Aƒetɔ, yi eve le mía si le afi sia.” Yesu gblɔ be, “Esɔ gbɔ.”
So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”
39 Azɔ abe ale si Yesu wɔnɛ ɖaa ene la, edo go le dua me yi ɖe Amito la dzi. Eye eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo dze eyome.
Then going out He went to the Mount of Olives, as His custom was, and His disciples followed Him.
40 Ke esi woɖo teƒea la, egblɔ na wo be, “Mido gbe ɖa be tetekpɔ nagaɖu mia dzi o.”
When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray, so as not to enter into temptation.”
41 Edzo le nusrɔ̃lawo gbɔ, zɔ vie ko, eye wòdze klo do gbe ɖa be,
Then He withdrew from them about a stone's throw, knelt down and prayed,
42 “Fofo, nenye wò lɔlɔ̃nu la, na kplu sia nato nunye ayi, gake menye nye lɔlɔ̃nu o, ke boŋ tɔwò ko woawɔ.”
saying, “Father, if you would just remove this cup from me—nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done!”
43 Kasia mawudɔla aɖe tso dziƒo va do ŋusẽe,
Then an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.
44 elabena eƒe gbɔgbɔ nɔ veve sem ale gbegbe be fifia nɔ dzadzam le eŋu abe ʋu ene ɖe anyigba le esime wònɔ gbe dom ɖa atraɖii.
And being in anguish He prayed with total concentration; then His sweat became like clots of blood, falling to the ground.
45 Mlɔeba la, etso le gbedoɖaƒe, eye wòtrɔ yi eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo gbɔ, gake eva ke ɖe wo ŋu wonɔ alɔ̃ dɔm, elabena konyifafa na be woƒe lãme gbɔdzɔ.
When He rose up from prayer and came to the disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow.
46 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Alɔ̃ dɔm mielea? Mifɔ kaba! Mido gbe ɖa be miaɖu tetekpɔwo dzi.”
He said to them: “Why do you sleep? Get up and pray, that you may not enter into temptation!”
47 Ke esi wònɔ nya siawo gblɔm la, ameha aɖe do ɖe wo dzi. Yuda, eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo dometɔ ɖeka nɔ ŋgɔ na wo. Yuda zɔ ɖe Yesu dzi, eye wògbugbɔ alɔgo nɛ abe lɔlɔ̃ ƒe dzesi ene.
But while He was still speaking—wow, a crowd; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them! He approached Jesus to kiss Him (he had given them this sign, “Whomever I kiss, it is he”).
48 Gake Yesu biae be, “Yuda, nu ka ta nèwɔ esia ɖo, nugbugbɔe natsɔ ade Amegbetɔ Vi la asia?”
So Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of the Man with a kiss?”
49 Esi nusrɔ̃la mamlɛawo kpɔ nu si be yeadzɔ la, wodo ɣli be, “Aƒetɔ, míwɔ avu kpli woa? Míetsɔ míaƒe yiawo ɖe asi!”
When those who were around Him saw what was about to happen, they said to Him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”
50 Kasia, nusrɔ̃lawo dometɔ ɖeka tsɔ eƒe yi kpa ɖusimeto na nunɔlagã ƒe subɔvi si nɔ ameawo dome.
And a certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear!
51 Ke Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Migawɔ avu kpli wo o, miɖe asi le wo ŋu ko.” Ale wòka asi afi si subɔvia ƒe to la nɔ ŋu, eye toa gaɖo eteƒe abe tsã ene.
But Jesus reacted by saying, “Allow at least this!” and touching his ear He healed him.
52 Yesu trɔ ɖe nunɔlagãwo, hamemegãwo kple gbedoxɔmesrafowo ƒe amegã siwo nɔ ameha la ŋgɔ va la ŋu, eye wòbia wo be, “Adzodalae menye, eya ta mietsɔ kpowo kple yiwo va be yewoalém ɖo mahã?
Then Jesus said to the chief priests, officers of the temple, and elders who had come against Him: “Have you come out with swords and clubs as against a bandit?
53 Nu ka ta mielém le gbedoxɔ la me o ɖo? Menɔa afi ma gbe sia gbe ɖe! Gake ɣeyiɣi siae nye ɣeyiɣi nyuitɔ na mi, ɣeyiɣi si me Satana ƒe ŋusẽ le dzi ɖum.”
When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour; even the authority of the darkness!”
54 Ale wolée, eye wokplɔe yi nunɔlagã ƒe aƒe me, eye Petro nɔ eyome ʋĩi gbɔna.
Then they seized, took and brought Him to the house of the high priest, with Peter following at a distance.
55 Asrafowo do dzo ɖe xɔxɔnu le ƒuƒum, eye Petro va nɔ wo dome le afi ma.
Now when they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them.
56 Dɔlanyɔnuvi aɖe si kpɔ Petro dze sii la gblɔ be, “Ame sia hã nɔ Yesu yome kpɔ.”
Then a certain servant girl, seeing him sitting by the fire, looked intently at him and said, “This man also was with him.”
57 Ke Petro gbe gblɔ be, “Nyɔnu, nyemenya amea ŋutɔ gɔ̃ hã o!”
But he denied Him, saying, “Woman, I do not know him!”
58 Le aɖabaƒoƒo ʋɛ aɖewo megbe la, ame bubu hã kpɔe, eye wògblɔ nɛ be, “Wò hã, eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo dometɔ ɖeka tututue nènye!” Petro ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Gbeɖe, amegã menye wo dometɔ ɖekae menye o.”
After a little while another saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not!”
59 Abe gaƒoƒo ɖeka megbe ene la, ame bubu hã va gblɔ kple kakaɖedzi be, “Menya be ame sia hã nye Yesu ƒe nusrɔ̃lawo dometɔ ɖeka, elabena eya hã nye Galileatɔ abe Yesu ene.”
Then after about an hour had passed, another started insisting, “Surely this fellow also was with him, because he is a Galilean.”
60 Ke Petro gado dzi gblɔ be, “Ŋutsu, nyemenya naneke kura tso nu si gblɔm nèle la ŋu o.” Eye esi wòɖe nu le nya siawo me ko la, koklo ku atɔ.
But Peter said, “Man, I don't know what you're talking about!” And immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
61 Le ɣeyiɣi sia me tututu la, Aƒetɔ la trɔ kpɔ Petro dũu. Kasia Petro ɖo ŋku Yesu ƒe nya siawo dzi be, “Hafi koklo naku atɔ etsɔ fɔŋli la, àgbe nu le gbɔnye zi etɔ̃.”
And the Lord turned and looked directly at Peter; then Peter remembered the Lord's word, how He had said to him, “Before a rooster crows, you will deny me three times.”
62 Petro do go heyi ɖafa avi vevie.
And going outside he wept bitterly.
63 Asrafo siwo le Yesu ŋu dzɔm la dze fewuɖuɖu le eŋu, eye wonɔ eƒom hã.
The men who were guarding Jesus started mocking and beating Him.
64 Wotsyɔ̃ nu mo nɛ, eye wobia tso esi be, “Gblɔ nya ɖi! Ame kae ƒo wò.”
And having blindfolded Him they would hit His face and ask Him, saying: “Prophesy! Who was it who struck you?”
65 Hekpe ɖe esia ŋu la, wodzu dzu ƒomevi geɖewo nɛ.
And they kept saying many other insulting things to Him.
66 Le ŋufɔke ŋdi kanya la, Yudatɔwo ƒe nunɔlagãwo, dumegãwo kple agbalẽfialawo va ɖi anyi, eye wokplɔ Yesu va woƒe ŋkumee.
As soon as it was day, the elders of the people, both the chief priests and scribes, came together and brought Him before their council, saying,
67 Wogblɔ be, “Nenye wòe nye Kristo la, gblɔe na mí.” Yesu ɖo eŋu be, “Ne megblɔe na mi la, miaxɔ dzinye ase o,
“If you are the Messiah, tell us.” But He said to them: “If I tell you, you simply will not believe.
68 eye ne mebia nya aɖe mi hã, miele eŋu ɖo ge nam o.
But if I also question you, you will neither answer nor release me.
69 Gake ɣeyiɣi gbɔna esi woaɖo Nye Amegbetɔ Vi la fiazikpui dzi le Mawu ŋusẽkatãtɔ la ƒe nuɖusime.”
Hereafter the Son of the Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”
70 Ameawo katã do ɣli sesĩe be, “Ekema ɖe nèle gbɔgblɔm be Mawu Vie yenyea?” Yesu ɖo eŋu be, “Miawoe le egblɔm be Nyee.”
Then they all said, “Are you then the Son of God?” So He said to them, “You say it because I AM!”
71 Ameawo gado ɣli sesĩe be, “Ɖe míegahiã ɖasefo bubuwo be woatso ame sia nua? Gbeɖe! Míawo ŋutɔ míesee tso eya ŋutɔ ƒe nu me!”
Then they said: “What further testimony do we need? We ourselves have heard it from his mouth!”
