< Mose 3 11 >

1 Yehowa gblɔ na Mose kple Aron bena,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying unto them:
2 “Migblɔ na Israelviwo be, ‘Le lã siwo katã nɔa anyigba dzi la, esiawoe nye esiwo miaɖu.
Speak ye unto the sons of Israel saying, —These are the living things which ye may eat, of all the beasts which are upon the earth:
3 Miate ŋu aɖu lã sia lã si ƒe afɔkli me fe, eye wòdzɔa nu gaɖuna.
Whatsoever parteth the hoof and is cloven-footed, and cheweth the cud among beasts, that, may ye eat.
4 “‘Lã aɖewo li siwo dzɔa nu gaɖuna alo woƒe afɔkli me koe fe, gake migaɖu wo o. Togbɔ be kposɔ ɖua nu, dzonɛ gaɖuna hã la, eƒe afɔkli me mefe o. Enye lã makɔmakɔ na mi.
Nevertheless, these, shall ye not eat, of them that chew the cud, and of them that part the hoof, —the camel, because though he, cheweth the cud, yet, the hoof, he parteth not, unclean, he is to you;
5 Xɔfie, togbɔ be edzɔa nu gaɖuna hã la, eƒe afɔkli me mefe o. Enye la makɔmakɔ na mi.
And, the coney, because, though he cheweth the cud, yet, the hoof, he parteth not, —unclean, he is to you;
6 Fɔmizi, togbɔ be edzɔa nu gaɖuna hã la, eƒe afɔkli me mefe o. Lã makɔmakɔ wònye na mi.
And the hare, because though she cheweth the cud, yet the hoof, she parteth not, —unclean, she is to you;
7 Ha, togbɔ be eƒe afɔkli me fe hã la, medzɔa nu gaɖuna o. Lã makɔmakɔ wònye na mi.
And, the swine, because though he parteth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, yet, the cud, he cheweth not, —unclean, he is to you;
8 Mele be miaɖu eƒe lã loo alo aka asi eƒe kukua teti hã ŋu o. Nu makɔmakɔ wònye na mi.
Of their flesh, shall ye not eat, and, their carcase, shall ye not touch, —unclean, they are to you.
9 “‘Le tɔmelãwo katã gome la, miekpɔ mɔ aɖu ɖe sia ɖe si ŋu adza kple tsro le, ne woɖe wo tso tɔsisiwo me loo alo atsiaƒu me.
these, may ye eat, of all that are in the waters, —all that have fins and scales in the waters, in the seas and in the rivers, them, may ye eat.
10 Ke lã siwo katã le atsiaƒu me alo tɔ me esiwo ŋu adza alo tsro mele o, woɖale lã siwo katã ƒua tsi dome alo nu gbagbe bubu siwo katã le tɔ me dome o, wonye ŋunyɔnu na mi.
But, all that have not fins and scales, in the seas and in the rivers, of all that swarm in the waters, and of all the living souls that are in the waters, an abomination, they are unto you;
11 Esi wònye be wonye ŋunyɔnuwo na mi ta la, migaɖu woƒe lã o, eye woƒe kukua hã nanyɔ ŋu na mi.
and an abomination, shall they remain to you, —of their flesh, ye shall not eat, and their carcases, shall ye abhor.
12 Nu gbagbe ɖe sia ɖe si le tɔ me, esi ŋu tsro kple adza mele o la nanye ŋunyɔnu na mi.
Whatsoever hath not fins and scales in the waters, an abomination, it is unto you.
13 “‘Xe siawo nanyɔ ŋu na mi, eye miaɖu wo o, elabena wonye ŋunyɔnuwo: hɔ̃, akaga, akpo,
And, these, shall ye abhor of birds, they shall not be eaten, an abomination, they are, —the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the osprey;
14 aʋako dzĩtɔwo kple yibɔtɔwo,
and the vulture, and the falcon, after its kind;
15 akpaviã ƒomevi vovovoawo,
every raven, after its kind;
16 adzexe si to dzo ɖe ta, adzexe ŋutɔ, golo, tsalɛ̃, aʋako,
and the female ostrich, and the male ostrich, and the sea-gull, —and the hawk after its kind;
17 ʋlukuku, tsimese, kple aŋɔɣi,
and the pelican and the gannet, and the bittern;
18 favieʋuto, aluge kple akaga,
and the swan and the vomiting pelican and the little vulture;
19 damixe, ako ƒomeviwo, agudzixe kple agutɔ.
and the stork, and the parrot, after its kind, —and the mountain-cock and the bat.
20 “‘Nudzodzoe siwo katã zɔna le afɔ ene dzi, woanye ŋunyɔnu na mi.
Every creeping thing that flieth, that goeth on all-fours, an abomination, it is unto you.
21 Ke nudzodzoe aɖewo li siwo zɔna le afɔ ene dzi, esiwo miate ŋu aɖu. Esiawoe nye esiwo te afɔwo le hena kpotiti le anyigba.
Nevertheless, these, may ye eat, of all creeping things that fly, that go on all-fours, —such as have legs above their feet, to leap therewith, upon the earth—
22 Esiwo miaɖu woe nye ʋetsuvi tɔgbiwo katã, gbagblami kple abɔ ƒomeviwo katã.
these of them, may ye eat: the swarming-locust after its kind, and the devouring locust after its kind, —and the chargol-locust after its kind, and the chagab-locust after its kind.
23 Miekpɔ mɔ aɖu nu bubu siwo katã dzona, eye woto afɔ ene la dometɔ aɖeke o.
But every [other] creeping thing that flieth, which hath four feet, an abomination, it is unto you;
24 “‘Ame sia ame si aka asi woƒe kukua ŋu la ŋu makɔ o va se ɖe fiẽ,
and, for these, shall ye count yourselves unclean—whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the evening;
25 eye ele nɛ be wòanya eƒe awuwo enumake. Ele nɛ hã be wòaɖe eɖokui ɖe aga va se ɖe fiẽ abe ame si ŋuti mekɔ o ene.
and whosoever beareth away aught of the carcase of them, shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.
26 “‘Ame si ka asi lã si ƒe afɔkli me mefe tututu o, alo lã si medzɔa nu gaɖuna o ŋu la hã ŋuti mekɔ o va se ɖe fiẽ.
As for every kind of beast which, though it parteth the hoof, yet is not cloven-footed nor cheweth the cud, unclean, they are unto you, —every one who toucheth them shall be unclean.
27 Miekpɔ mɔ aɖu lã afɔene siwo ƒe afɔwo nu fetsu le o. Ame si ka asi woƒe kukua ŋu hã ŋuti mekɔ o, va se ɖe fiẽ.
And, all that go upon their paws, among all the living things that go on all-fours, unclean, they are unto you, —whoso toucheth the carcase of them, shall be unclean until the evening.
28 Ele be ame si atsɔ eƒe kukua aƒu gbe la nanya eƒe awuwo, eye eŋuti makɔ o va se ɖe fiẽ, elabena mede se na mi tso wo ŋu.
And, he that beareth away the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and shall be unclean until the evening, —unclean, they are unto you.
29 “‘Lã siwo zɔna le anyigba, eye wo ŋu mekɔ na mi o la woe nye, adɔ, afi kple adoglo ƒomeviwo,
And, these, unto you, shall be unclean, among the creeping things that creep upon the earth, —the weasel and the mouse, and the lizard after its kind;
30 xɔmenyatri, ve, adoglo, atɔ kple agama.
and the ferret and the chameleon and the wall-lizard, —and the winding lizard, and the mole.
31 Ame sia ame si ka asi nu siawo ƒe kukuawo ŋu la ŋu mekɔ o va se ɖe fiẽ.
These, are they which are unclean to you among all that creep, —whosoever toucheth them when they are dead shall be unclean until the evening;
and, everything whereon any of them shall fall when they are dead shall be unclean—of any articles of wood, or cloth, or skin, or sackcloth, any article wherewith any work is done, —shall be put in water and shall be unclean until the evening, and then be clean,
33 Ne ege dze agba aɖe si wome kple tsu me la, nu sia nu si le agba la me la ŋu mekɔ o, eye ele be woagbã agba la.
And, as for any earthen vessel whereinto any of them may fall, everything therein shall be unclean, and, the vessel itself, shall ye break in pieces.
34 Ne tsi si wotsɔ klɔ nu makɔmakɔ aɖe ŋu hlẽ ɖe nuɖuɖu aɖe ŋu la, nuɖuɖu la ŋu mekɔ o. Nunono si le agba makɔmakɔ aɖe me hã ŋu mekɔ o.
Of all the food that may be eaten, that whereon shall come water, shall be unclean, —and, all drink which might be drunk in any [such] vessel, shall be unclean.
35 Ne lã makɔmakɔ siawo dometɔ aɖe ƒe kukua ka abolokpo aɖe ŋu la, abolokpo la hã ŋu mekɔ o, eya ta ele be woagbãe.
And, everything whereon shall fall any part of the carcase of them shall be unclean, oven or fire-range, it shall be destroyed, unclean, they are, —and, unclean, Shall they remain to you.
36 Ne nu siawo ƒe kuku aɖe ge ɖe tɔʋu alo tsigago aɖe si me tsi le la me la, tsi la menye tsi makɔmakɔ o, gake ame si ɖe nu kukua le tsia me ya la ŋu mekɔ o.
Notwithstanding, a fountain or cistern wherein is a gathering of waters shall be clean, —but, he that toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean.
37 Ne nu kukua ka nuku aɖe si ƒã ge wole ŋu la, nuku la mezu nuku makɔmakɔ o.
And when any part of the carcase of them shall fall upon seed for sowing, which is to be sown, the same is, clean.
38 Ke ne nukua ƒo tsi hafi nu kuku la ge ɖe edzi la, ekema nuku ƒotsi la ŋu mekɔ o.
But, when water shall be put upon seed, and there shall fall thereon any part of the carcase of them, unclean, it is to you.
39 “‘Ne dɔléle wu lã aɖe si ŋu woɖe mɔ le be woaɖu la, ame si ka asi lã la ƒe kukua ŋu la ŋu mekɔ o va se ɖe fiẽ.
And, when any of the beasts which are yours for food shall die, he that toucheth the carcase of it shall be unclean until the evening.
40 Gawu la, ele be ame si ɖu eƒe lã alo tsɔe yi ɖaƒu gbe la nanya eƒe awuwo, eye eŋuti makɔ o va se ɖe fiẽ.
And, he that eateth of the carcase of it, shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening, —he also that carrieth away the carcase thereof shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
41 “‘Nu gbagbe ɖe sia ɖe si tana le anyigba dzi la nye nu si woatsri; womaɖui o.
And, any creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, an abomination, it is—it shall not be eaten.
42 Migaɖu nu gbagbe si tana le anyigba le eƒe ƒodo dzi alo wòzɔna kple afɔ ene loo alo le afɔ geɖewo dzi la o. Enye nu si woatsri.
Everything that goeth upon the belly, and everything that goeth upon all-fours, even to everything having many feet, as regardeth any creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, ye shall not eat them for, an abomination, they are.
43 Migaƒo ɖi mia ɖokuiwo to asikaka wo ŋu me o.
Do not make your persons abominable, with any creeping thing that creepeth, —neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should become unclean thereby.
44 Nyee nye Yehowa, miaƒe Mawu. Minɔ dzadzɛe le nu siawo ŋuti, eye mianɔ kɔkɔe, elabena kɔkɔetɔe menye. Eya ta migaƒo ɖi mia ɖokuiwo to asikaka nu siwo tana le anyigba la dometɔ aɖeke ŋu me o.
For, I—Yahweh, am your God, therefore shall ye hallow yourselves and remain holy; for, holy, am, I,—therefore shall ye not make your persons unclean, with any creeping thing that crawleth upon the earth;
45 Elabena nyee nye Yehowa si kplɔ mi tso Egiptenyigba dzi be manye miaƒe Mawu. Ele na mi be mianɔ kɔkɔe, elabena kɔkɔetɔe menye.
for, I—Yahweh, am he that brought you up out of the land of Egypt, that I might become your God, —therefore shall ye be holy, for, holy, am, I.
46 “‘Esiawoe nye se siwo ku ɖe lãwo, xewo kple nu siwo katã ƒua tsi alo tana le anyigba la ŋu.
This, is the law of beast and of bird, and of every living soul that moveth in the waters, —and as to every soul that creepeth upon the earth:
47 Esiawoe nye vovototo siwo le nu siwo ŋuti kɔ, eye woaɖu wo kple nu siwo ŋuti mekɔ o, eye womaɖu wo o le nu gbagbe siwo nye lãwo le anyigba dzi la dome.’”
That ye may make a difference—between the unclean and the clean, —and between the living thing that may be eaten, and the living thing which may not be eaten.
