< Konyifahawo 3 >

1 Nyee nye ŋutsu si kpe fu le eƒe dziku ƒe ameƒoti te.
I am the man that has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
2 Enyam ɖe nu eye wòna mezɔ viviti me, menye kekeli me o;
He has led me and caused me to walk in darkness, and not in light.
3 Vavã etrɔ eƒe asiwo ɖe ŋutinye atraɖii le ŋkeke blibo la me.
Surely against me he turns his hand again and again all the day.
4 Ena be nye ŋutilã kple nye ŋutigbalẽ do xoxo eye wògbã ƒu ɖe lãme nam.
My flesh and my skin he has made old; he has broken my bones.
5 Eva dze dzinye eye wòtsɔ veve helĩhelĩ kple fukpekpe tɔ kpɔ ɖe ŋunye.
He has built against me, and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.
6 Ena menɔ viviti me abe ame siwo ku gbe aɖe gbe ke ene.
He has made me to dwell in dark places, like those that have been long dead.
7 Etɔ kpɔ ƒo xlãm ale be nyemate ŋu asi o, eɖom anyi kple gakɔsɔkɔsɔ.
He has walled me in, so I can't escape; he has made my chains heavy.
8 Ne meyɔe alo do ɣli be wòaxɔ nam gɔ̃ hã la, edoa ʋɔ ɖe nye gbedodoɖa nu.
Yes, when I cry, and call for help, he shuts out my prayer.
9 Etsɔ kpe gãwo xe mɔ me nam eye wòglɔ̃ nye mɔwo.
He has walled up my ways with cut stone; he has made my paths crooked.
10 Abe sisiblisi si de xa ɖi kple dzata si le adeklo dzi ene la,
He is to me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in hiding.
11 ehem ɖa le mɔ me eye wòvuvum, hegblẽm ɖi kpeɖeŋutɔmanɔsitɔe.
He has obstructed my path, and torn me in pieces; he has made me desolate.
12 Evu eƒe da me eye wòdzidze eƒe dati ɖe dzinye.
He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
13 Etsɔ aŋutrɔwo le eƒe daku me tsɔ ŋɔ nye dzi.
He has caused the arrows of his quiver to pierce my inward parts.
14 Mezu nu ɖikokoe le nye amewo katã dome, woɖua fewu le ŋunye to hadzidzi me ŋkeke blibo la katã.
I have become a laughingstock to all peoples, and their song all the day.
15 Etsɔ ama veve ɖi ƒo nam eye wòkpe veve nam meno.
He has filled me with bitterness, he has given me in full measure wormwood.
16 Etsɔ kpe ŋe aɖu nam eye wòfanyam ɖe kewɔ me.
He has also broken my teeth with gravel; he has pressed me down in the dust.
17 Woxɔ ŋutifafa le asinye, meŋlɔ nu si dzɔgbenyui nye la be.
You have removed my soul far away from peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is.
18 Eya ta megblɔ be, “Nye atsyɔ̃nu yi eye nu siwo katã mele mɔ kpɔm na tso Yehowa gbɔ la hã nu va yi.”
And I said, "My strength and my hope has perished from the LORD."
19 Meɖo ŋku nye hiã, tsaglalãtsatsa, dzigbagbã kple vevesese dzi.
Remember my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
20 Meɖo ŋku wo katã dzi nyuie eye nye luʋɔ bɔbɔ eɖokui le menye.
My soul considers them, and is depressed.
21 Ke esia dzi meɖo ŋkue eye mɔkpɔkpɔ ɖo asinye:
But this I call to my mind; therefore I have hope:
22 Le Yehowa ƒe lɔlɔ̃ deto la ta wometsrɔ̃ mí o elabena eƒe nublanuikpɔkpɔ mevɔna o.
The LORD's faithful love does not cease; his compassion does not fail.
23 Wozua yeye ŋdi sia ŋdi, wò nuteƒewɔwɔ lolo ŋutɔ.
They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
24 Megblɔ na ɖokuinye be, “Yehowae nye nye gomekpɔkpɔ, eya ta manɔ esinu kpɔm.”
"The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him."
25 Yehowa ƒe dɔ me nyo na ame siwo tsɔ woƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe edzi, kple ame siwo dinɛ vevie.
The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.
26 Enyo be woalala le ɖoɖoezizi me na Yehowa ƒe ɖeɖe.
It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
27 Enyo na ame be wòatsɔ kɔkuti le ɖekakpuime.
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke while he is young.
28 Nenɔ anyi le ɖoɖoezizi me elabena Yehowae tsɔ kɔkuti la da ɖe edzi.
Let him sit alone and keep silence when he is disciplining him.
29 Netsɔ eƒe mo ƒo ɖe ke me, ɖewohĩ mɔkpɔkpɔ gali.
Let him put his mouth to the dust, there may yet be hope.
30 Neɖo to me anyi na ame si le eƒo ge eye ŋukpe neyɔe fũu.
Let him give his cheek to him who strikes him; let him be filled with insults.
31 Elabena Aƒetɔ la metsɔa ame ƒua gbe ɖikaa o
For the LORD will not reject forever.
32 Togbɔ be ehea nuxaxa vɛ hã la, egakpɔa nublanui na ame, eye eƒe lɔlɔ̃ si nu metsina gbeɖe o la de to ŋutɔ.
For though he may cause grief, yet he will have compassion according to the abundance of his loving kindness.
33 Elabena mehea fukpekpe kple nuxaxa vaa amegbetɔviwo dzi ɖe dzidzɔ teƒe o.
For he is not predisposed to bring affliction or suffering to human beings.
34 Woafanya anyigbadzigamenɔlawo katã kple afɔ.
To crush under foot all the prisoners of the earth;
35 Ne woagbe nu si nye ame tɔ la tsɔtsɔ nɛ le Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ŋkume,
to deprive a man of justice before the face of the Most High,
36 eye wotrɔ gbo ame dzɔdzɔe ƒe nya; ɖe Aƒetɔ la makpɔ esiawo oa?
to subvert a man in his cause, the LORD does not approve.
37 Ame ka aƒo nu eye wòava eme, ne menye Aƒetɔ lae ɖe gbe o?
Who can speak a thing and have it come to pass, unless the LORD has commanded it?
38 Ɖe menye Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ƒe nu mee dzɔgbevɔ̃enyawo kple dzidzɔnyawo siaa doa go tsona oa?
Doesn't both calamity and good come out of the mouth of the Most High?
39 Nu ka ta amegbetɔ ahe nya ne wohe to nɛ ɖe eƒe nu vɔ̃wo ta?
Why does a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
40 Mina míalé ŋku ɖe míaƒe zɔzɔme ŋu ne míado wo akpɔ eye mina míatrɔ ɖe Yehowa ŋu.
Let us examine and search our ways, and return to the LORD.
41 Mina míado míaƒe dziwo kple asiwo ɖe Mawu gbɔ le dziƒo ahagblɔ bena:
Let us lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.
42 “Míewɔ nu vɔ̃ hedze aglã eye mètsɔe ke mi o.
We have transgressed and have rebelled, and you have not forgiven.
43 “Ètsɔ dziku tsyɔ ɖokuiwò dzi eye nèti mía yome hewu mí nublanuimakpɔmakpɔtɔe.
You have covered yourself with anger and pursued us; you killed without sparing.
44 Ètsɔ lilikpo tsyiɔ ɖokuiwò dzi ale be, gbedodoɖa aɖeke mate ŋu aɖo gbɔwò o.
You have covered yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through.
45 Ètsɔ mí wɔ ŋunyɔnu kple gbeɖuɖɔe le dukɔwo dome.
You have made us rubbish and refuse in the midst of the peoples.
46 “Míaƒe futɔwo katã ke nu baa ɖe mía ŋuti.
All our enemies have opened their mouth wide against us.
47 Ŋɔdzi lé mí; míedze ʋe me eye tsɔtsrɔ̃ kple gbegblẽ va mía dzi.”
Fear and the pit have come on us, devastation and destruction.
48 Nye ŋkuwo le aɖatsi fam yoyoyo elabena wotsrɔ̃ nye amewo.
Streams of tears run down from my eyes because of the destruction of the daughter of my people.
49 Nye ŋkuwo le aɖatsi fam ɖaa, enu gbe tsotso,
My tears flow and do not cease, without respite,
50 va se ɖe esime Yehowa aɖo ŋku anyi tso dziƒo akpɔe.
until the LORD looks down and sees from heaven.
51 Nu si mekpɔ la na nye luʋɔ xa nu ɖe nyɔnu siwo katã le nye dua me la ta.
My eyes bring my soul grief, because of all the daughters of my city.
52 Ame siwo nye nye futɔwo madzemadzee la ɖem ɖe nu abe xevi ene.
They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause.
53 Wodze agbagba be woatso nye agbe nu le vudo me eye wofɔ kpe ƒum.
They have cut off my life in a pit, and have cast a stone on me.
54 Tsi fie le tanye eye mesusu be evɔ nam.
Waters flowed over my head; I said, 'I am finished.'
55 O Yehowa, wò ŋkɔe meyɔ le vudoa ƒe gogloƒe ke.
I called on your name, LORD, out of the depths of the pit.
56 Èse nye kukuɖeɖe be, “Mègado toku nye ɣlidodo eye nàgbe akɔfafa nam o.”
You heard my voice; do not hide your ear at my sighs, to my cry.
57 Ète va gbɔnye esi meyɔ wò eye nègblɔ be, “Mègavɔ̃ o.”
You drew near in the day that I called on you; you said, "Do not be afraid."
58 O, Aƒetɔ, èxɔ nye nya ɖe akɔ eye nèɖe nye agbe.
LORD, you have taken up the case for my soul; you have redeemed my life.
59 Wò ŋutɔ èkpɔ, O Yehowa, vɔ̃ si wowɔ ɖe ŋutinye. Na nye nya nadzɔ!
You have seen, LORD, the wrong done to me; judge my case.
60 Èkpɔ woƒe hlɔ̃biabia ƒe kpekpeme kple nugbe siwo woɖo ɖe ŋunye.
You have seen all their vengeance and all their plots against me.
61 O Yehowa, èse woƒe dzudzuwo kple nu siwo katã woɖo ɖe ŋunye
You have heard their insults, LORD, and all their plots against me.
62 kple nye futɔwo ƒe dalĩdodo kple nuƒoƒo le ŋunye ŋkeke blibo la.
The lips of those that rose up against me, and their plots against me all day long.
63 Nye kɔ nàkpɔ wo ɖa! Wole anyinɔƒe o, wole tsitrenu o, woɖua fewu le ŋunye le woƒe hadzidziwo me.
Look their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their mocking song.
64 O Yehowa, xe fe si dze wo la na wo, ɖe nu siwo woƒe asiwo wɔ la ta.
You will render to them what they deserve, LORD, according to the work of their hands.
65 Tsɔ nutsyɔnu tsyɔ woƒe dziwo dzi eye nàna be wò fiƒode nanɔ wo dzi!
You will give them hardness of heart as your curse to them.
66 Ti wo yome kple dziku eye nàtsrɔ̃ wo le Yehowa ƒe dziƒo te.
You will pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of the LORD.
