< Yohanes 4 >

1 Farisitɔwo se be Yesu le nusrɔ̃lawo kpɔm fũu, eye wòle mawutsi dem ta na amewo tsɔ wu Yohanes,
When therefore knew (Jesus *N(K)O*) that heard the Pharisees that Jesus more disciples makes and baptizes than John
2 togbɔ be menye Yesu ŋutɔe le mawutsi dem ta na amewo o, ke boŋ eƒe nusrɔ̃lawoe.
and certainly indeed and certainly indeed and certainly indeed Jesus Himself not was baptizing but the disciples of Him
He left Judea and went away again into Galilee.
4 Enɔ na Yesu be wòato Samaria hafi ayi Galilea.
It was necessary for now Him to pass through Samaria.
5 Le ŋdɔ ga wuieve me lɔƒo la, eva ɖo Samariatɔwo ƒe du aɖe si woyɔna be Sikar la me, si te ɖe anyigba si Yakob na via Yosef la ŋu.
He comes therefore to a city of Samaria being named Sychar, nearby the plot of ground that gave Jacob (*no*) to Joseph the son of him;
Anɔ gaƒoƒo adelia me.
Was now there [the] well of Jacob. Therefore Jesus already wearying from the journey was sitting thus at the well; [The] hour was (about *N(k)O*) [the] sixth.
Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Àte ŋu ana tsi aɖem manoa?”
Comes a woman out of Samaria to draw water. Says to her Jesus; do give Me to drink.
8 (Eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo yi kɔƒea me yi nuɖuɖu ƒle ge.)
For the disciples of Him had gone away into the city that food they may buy.
9 Samaria nyɔnu la gblɔ nɛ be, “Yudatɔ nènye, eye menye Samariatɔ. Aleke wò Yudatɔ, nèle tsi biam nye Samaria nyɔnu be yeano?” (Elabena Yudatɔwo kple Samariatɔwo menyina o.)
Says therefore to Him the woman Samaritan; How You yourself a Jew being from me to drink you do ask a woman Samaritan being? Not for have association Jews with Samaritans.
Answered Jesus and said to her; If you had known the gift of God and who it is who is saying to you; do give Me to drink, you yourself then would you have asked Him and He gave maybe to you water living.
11 Nyɔnu la ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Aƒetɔ, vudo sia goglo, eye tsikunu mele asiwò be nàtsɔ aku tsii le eme o. Afi ka nèle agbetsi la kpɔ ge le?
Says to Him the woman: Sir, nothing to draw with You have, and the well is deep; from where then have You the water which is living?
12 Gawu la, ɖe nède ŋgɔ wu mía fofo Yakob, ame si ɖe vudo la na mí, eye eya ŋutɔ, viawo kple eƒe lãwo no tsi le emea?”
Not You yourself greater are [than] the father of us Jacob, who gave us the well, and himself of it drank and the sons of him and the livestock of him?
13 Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Ame sia ame si no tsi sia la, tsikɔ agawui,
Answered (*k*) Jesus and said to her; Everyone who is drinking of water this will thirst again.
who[ever] however maybe may drink of the water that I myself will give to him, certainly not (will thirst *N(k)O*) to the age, Instead the water that I will give to him it will become in him a spring of water welling up into life eternal. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
15 Nyɔnu la gblɔ na Yesu be, “Aƒetɔ, meɖe kuku, na tsi sia ƒe ɖem, be tsikɔ magawum ne mava nɔ tsi kum le afi sia gbe sia gbe o.”
Says to Him the woman; Sir, do give me this water that not I may thirst nor (I may come *N(k)(o)*) here to draw.
16 Ke Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Yi nàyɔ srɔ̃wò vɛ.”
He says to her (*ko*) (Jesus: *KO*) do go do call the husband of you and do come here.
17 Nyɔnu la ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Srɔ̃ mele asinye o.” Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Èto nyateƒe esi nègblɔ be srɔ̃ mele ye si o.
Answered the woman and said (to Him: *no*) Not I have a husband. Says to her Jesus; Correctly you have spoken that A husband not I have;
18 Elabena èɖe ŋutsu atɔ̃ kpɔ, eye ame si gbɔ nèle fifia hã la, menye srɔ̃wò wònye o.” Esia nye nyateƒe.
Five for husbands you have had, and now he whom you have not is your husband; this truly you have spoken.
19 Nyɔnu la gblɔ be, “Aƒetɔ, mexɔe se be Nyagblɔɖilae nènye.
Says to Him the woman; Sir, I understand that a prophet are You yourself.
20 Nu ka ta mi Yudatɔwo miegblɔna be Yerusalem kokoko wòle be woasubɔ Mawu le, evɔ mí Samariatɔwo hã míebe ele be woasubɔ Mawu le to sia dzi, elabena afi siae mía tɔgbuiwo subɔ Mawu le?”
The fathers of us on mountain this worshiped, and you yourselves say that in Jerusalem is the place where to worship it is necessary.
21 Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Nyɔnu, xɔ dzinye se be ɣeyiɣi aɖe gbɔna, esi womagasubɔ Fofo la le to sia dzi alo le Yerusalem o.
Says to her Jesus; (do believe *N(k)O*) Me, woman, that is coming an hour when neither [you will worship] on mountain this nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
You yourselves worship what not you know, we ourselves worship what we know, for salvation of the Jews is.
23 Gake ɣeyiɣi aɖe gbɔna, eye wòde azɔ be nyateƒe subɔsubɔwɔlawo woasubɔ Fofo la le gbɔgbɔ kple nyateƒe me, elabena Fofo la dia subɔla siawo tɔgbi.
But is coming an hour and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; also for the Father such seeks who worship Him.
24 Mawu nye Gbɔgbɔ, eye ame siwo le esubɔm la, ele be woasubɔe le gbɔgbɔ kple nyateƒe me.”
Spirit God [is], and those worshiping Him in spirit and truth it behooves to worship.
25 Nyɔnu la ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Menya be Mesia” (si woyɔna be Kristo la) “le vava ge. Ne eva la aɖe nu sia nu gɔme na mí.”
Says to Him the woman; I know that Messiah is coming, who is called Christ, when may come He, He will tell us (all things. *N(k)O*)
26 Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Nyee.”
Says to her Jesus; I myself am [He], who is speaking to you.
27 Esi wògblɔ nya sia vɔ teti ko la, eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo va do, eye wòwɔ nuku na wo be Yesu nɔ dze ɖom kple nyɔnu aɖe, gake wo dometɔ aɖeke mebia be, “Nu ka dim nèle?” alo “Nu ka ta nèle dze ɖom kple nyɔnu la ɖo?” o.
And upon this came the disciples of Him and (were amazed *N(k)O*) that with a woman He was speaking; no [one] however said; What seek You? Or Why speak You with her?
28 Nyɔnu la gblẽ eƒe tsize la ɖe vudoa to, eye wòtrɔ yi dua me ɖagblɔ na amewo be,
Left then the water pot of her the woman and went away into the city and says to the men;
29 “Miva kpɔ ŋutsu aɖe si gblɔ nu siwo katã mewɔ kpɔ la nam ɖa. Ɖe manye eyae nye Kristo la oa?”
Come, do see a man who told me all things (as much as *NK(o)*) I did; surely not ever this is the Christ?
30 Ale amewo tso dua me va be yewoakpɔe.
They went forth (therefore *K*) out of the city and were coming unto Him.
31 Yesu ƒe nusrɔ̃lawo ɖe kuku nɛ bena, “Nufiala, va ɖu nu.”
But in (now *k*) the meantime were asking Him the disciples saying; Rabbi, do eat.
32 Ke Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Nuɖuɖu le asinye, esi ŋu miawo mienya nu le o.”
But He said to them; I myself food have to eat that you yourselves not know.
33 Ke nusrɔ̃lawo bia le wo nɔewo dome be, “Ɖe ame aɖe tsɔ nuɖuɖu vɛ nɛa?”
Were saying therefore the disciples to one another; Surely not one did bring to Him [something] to eat?
34 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Nye nuɖuɖue nye be mawɔ Mawu, ame si dɔm ɖa la ƒe lɔlɔ̃nu, eye mawu dɔ si wòdɔm la wɔwɔ nu.
Says to them Jesus; My own food is that (I may do *N(k)O*) the will of the [One who] having sent Me and may finish of Him the work.
35 Menye miawoe gblɔna be, ‘Esusɔ ɣleti ene ne nuŋeɣi naɖo oa’? Miwu mo dzi ne miakpɔ agblewo dzi ɖa! Nukuawo tsi na ŋeŋe.
Surely you yourselves say that yet (four months *N(k)O*) it is and the harvest comes? Behold I say to you; do lift up the eyes of you and do see the fields because white they are toward harvest already!
(and *k*) the [one] reaping a reward receives and he gathers fruit unto life eternal, so that (both *k*) who is sowing together may rejoice and who is reaping. (aiōnios g166)
37 Esiae wɔe be nya si wogblɔ ɖi be, ‘Ame aɖe ƒãa nu, eye ame bubu va ŋena’ la nye nyateƒe.
In for this the saying is (*k*) true that One is who is sowing and another [is] the [one] who is reaping.
38 Nye la, medɔ mi be miayi aɖaŋe nu le afi si mieƒã nu ɖo o la; ame bubuwoe ƒã nua hafi miawo mieyi ɖaŋe.”
I myself sent you to reap what not you yourselves have toiled for; others have toiled, and you yourselves into the labor of them have entered.
39 Samariatɔ geɖewo xɔ Yesu dzi se ɖe nya si nyɔnu la gblɔ na wo be, “Egblɔ nu sia nu si mewɔ kpɔ la nam la ta.” la ta.
Out of now the city that many believed in Him of the Samaritans because of the word of the woman testifying that He told me all things (whatever *N(k)O*) I did.
40 Azɔ esi Samariatɔwo va egbɔ la, woɖe kuku nɛ be, wòanɔ yewo gbɔ, eye wònɔ wo gbɔ ŋkeke eve
When therefore came to Him the Samaritans, they were asking Him to abide with them. and He stayed there two days.
41 Le eƒe nyawo ta la, ame geɖewo xɔ edzi se.
And many more believed because of the word of Him,
42 Ale wova gblɔ na nyɔnu si do goe gbã le vudoa to la be, “Míawo hã míexɔ edzi se, elabena míawo ŋutɔ hã míese nya geɖewo tso eƒe nu me, ke menye le wò ɖaseɖiɖi ɖeɖe ko ta o. Míenya be ame siae nye xexea me ƒe Ɖela la vavã.”
and to the woman they were saying that no longer no longer because of your speech we believe; we ourselves for have heard and we know that this is truly the Savior of the world (the Christ. *K*)
After then the two days He went forth from there (and went away *K*) into Galilee.
44 (Yesu ŋutɔ gblɔ be nyagblɔɖila aɖeke mekpɔa bubu le eya ŋutɔ dedu me o.)
Himself for (*k*) Jesus testified that a prophet in the own hometown honor not has.
When therefore He came into Galilee, received Him the Galileans all things having seen (how much *N(k)O*) He had done in Jerusalem during the feast; also themselves for they had gone to the feast.
He came therefore (Jesus *k*) again to Cana of Galilee, where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son was sick in Capernaum.
47 Esi ŋutsu sia se be Yesu tso Yudea va ɖo Galilea la, eyi egbɔ heɖe kuku nɛ be wòava yɔ dɔ ye viŋutsuvi si ɖo kudo nu la na ye.
He having heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, went to Him and was asking (him *k*) that He may come down and He may heal his son; he was about for to die.
48 Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Mia dometɔ aɖeke maxɔ dzinye ase o, dzaa miekpɔ dzesi kple nukunuwo?”
Said therefore Jesus to him; only unless signs and wonders you [people] may see, certainly not shall you believe.
49 Aʋafia la gblɔ be, “Aƒetɔ, meɖe kuku, va míyi kaba hafi vinyea naku?”
Says to Him the royal official; Sir, do come down before to die the child of mine.
50 Ke Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Yi aƒe me, elabena viwò la ƒe lãme sẽ.” Aʋafia la xɔ nya si Yesu gblɔ nɛ la dzi se, eye wòtrɔ dzo yina aƒe me.
Says to him Jesus; do go, the son of you lives. (and *k*) Believed the man in the word (that *N(k)O*) said to him Jesus, and he was going.
51 Esi wònɔ mɔa dzi yina la, eƒe dɔla aɖewo va kpee hegblɔ nɛ be via ƒe lãme sẽ.
Already then when he is going down the servants of him (met *N(k)O*) with him (and reported *ko*) saying that the boy (of him *N(K)O*) lives.
52 Aʋafia la bia gaƒoƒo si me tututu via ƒe lãme sẽ la wo. Woɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Etsɔ, anɔ abe ŋdɔ ga ɖeka me ene la, asrã la vɔ nɛ.”
He inquired therefore the hour from them in which better he got. (and *k*) They said (therefore *NO*) to him that Yesterday at hour seventh left him the fever.
53 Aʋafia la ɖo ŋku edzi be gaƒoƒo ma me tututue Yesu gblɔ na ye be, “Viwò la ƒe lãme sẽ.”
Knew therefore the father that [it was] in that [very] hour at which said to him Jesus (that: *k*) The son of You lives. And he believed himself and the household of him all.
54 Esiae nye nukunu evelia si Yesu wɔ, esi wòtso Yudea va Galilea.
This [is] (now *no*) again [the] second sign did Jesus having come out of Judea into Galilee.
