Yohanes 17

1 Esi Yesu gblɔ nya siawo vɔ la, ewu mo dzi, do gbe ɖa gblɔ be, “Fofo, ɣeyiɣi la de azɔ. Ɖe Viwò la ƒe Ŋutikɔkɔefia ne Viwò hã naɖe wò ŋutikɔkɔe afia.

These wordes spake Iesus and lyfte vp his eyes to heven and sayde: father the houre is come: glorify thy sonne that thy sonne maye glorify the:

2 Elabena èna ŋusẽe ɖe amegbetɔwo katã dzi le xexea me, be wòana agbe mavɔ ame sia ame si nètsɔ nɛ la. (aiōnios g166)

as thou hast geve him power over all fleshe that he shuld geve eternall lyfe to as many as thou hast geven him. (aiōnios g166)

3 Ale si ame awɔ akpɔ agbe mavɔ lae nye be wòanya wò Mawu vavã ɖeka hɔ̃ɔ la, eye wòaxɔ Yesu Kristo, ame si nèɖo ɖe xexea me hã dzi ase. (aiōnios g166)

This is lyfe eternall that they myght knowe the that only very God and whom thou hast sent Iesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)

4 Meɖe wò Ŋutikɔkɔe fia le anyigba dzi to dɔ siwo nède asi nam la nuwuwu me.

I have glorified ye on the erth. I have fynysshed ye worke which thou gavest me to do.

5 Azɔ la, Fofo, ɖe wò ŋutikɔkɔe fiam le wò ŋkume to ŋutikɔkɔe si nènam le gbɔwò hafi xexea me dze egɔme la me.

And now glorify me thou father wt thyn awne selfe with the glory which I had with ye yerre ye worlde was.

6 “Megblɔ ame si ƒomevi nènye la na ame siwo nènam le xexea me la. Tɔwòwoe wonye; ètsɔ wo nam, eye wowɔ ɖe wò nyawo dzi.

I have declared thy name vnto ye men which thou gavest me out of the worlde. Thyne they were and thou gavest them me and they have kept thy sayinges.

7 Azɔ wonya be nu sia nu si nètsɔ nam la tso gbɔwò,

Now they knowe that all thinges whatsoever thou hast geven me are of the.

8 elabena nya si nède asinye la metsɔe na wo, eye woxɔe. Wonyae kɔtɛe be metso gbɔwò, eye woxɔe se hã be wòe dɔm ɖo ɖa.

For I have geven vnto them the wordes which thou gavest me and they have receaved them and knowe surely that I came out from the: and doo beleve that thou dyddest send me.

9 Medo gbe ɖa ɖe wo ta; nyemele gbe dom ɖa ɖe xexea me ta o. Ame siwo nètsɔ nam la tae medo gbe ɖa ɖo, elabena tɔwòwoe wonye.

I praye for them and praye not for the worlde: but for the which thou hast geve me for they are thyne.

10 Nu siwo katã nye tɔnye la, tɔwòe, eye nu siwo katã nye tɔnye la, tɔwòe, eye woawo mee woɖe nye Ŋutikɔkɔe fia le.

And all myne are thyne and thyne are myne and I am glorified in the.

11 Azɔ mele dzodzo ge le xexea me ava gbɔwò, gake wogale xexea me. Fofo kɔkɔe, kpɔ wo ta to wò ŋusẽ kple ŋkɔ me, ŋkɔ si nènam be woawɔ ɖeka abe ale si nye kpli wò miewɔ ɖekae ene.

12 Esi menɔ wo gbɔ la, mekpɔ wo ta, eye mena be wole dedie to ŋkɔ si nènam la me. Wo dometɔ aɖeke mebu o, negbe wo dometɔ si woɖo be woatsrɔ̃ la ko, be ŋɔŋlɔ la nava eme.

Whyll I was with the in ye worlde I kepte the in thy name. Those yt thou gavest me have I kepte and none of the is lost but that lost chylde that the scripture myght be fulfilled.

13 “Ke azɔ la, megbɔna gbɔwò, gake mele nya siawo gblɔm esi megale xexea me, be nye dzidzɔ blibo la katã nanɔ wo me.

14 Megblɔ wò nyawo na wo, eye xexea me lé fu wo, elabena womeganye xexea me tɔwo o, abe ale si nye hã nyemetso xexea me o ene. Nenema ke nye hã nye agbenɔnɔ mesɔ kple xexea me tɔwo ƒe agbenɔnɔ o.

I have geven them thy wordes and the worlde hath hated them because they are not of the worlde even as I am not of the worlde.

15 Fofo, nyemele biabiam be nàɖe wo le xexea me o, ke boŋ nàkpɔ wo ta tso vɔ̃ɖitɔ la ƒe asi me.

I desyre not that thou shuldest take the out of the worlde: but that thou kepe them from evyll.

16 Wometso xexea me o, abe ale si nye hã nyemetso xexea me o ene.

They are not of the worlde as I am not of the worlde.

17 Kɔ wo ŋu kple nyateƒe la, elabena wò nya la nye nyateƒe.

Sanctify the wt thy truth. Thy sayinge is truth.

18 Abe ale si nèdɔm ɖe xexea me ene la, nye hã mele wo dɔm ɖe xexea me.

As thou dyddest send me into the worlde even so have I sent them into the worlde

19 Mekɔ ɖokuinye ŋu ɖe wo ta, bena woakɔ woawo hã ŋu le nyateƒe la me.”

and for their sakes sanctify I my selfe that they also myght be sanctified thorowe the trueth.

20 “Nyemele gbe dom ɖa ɖe woawo ɖeɖe ko ta o, ke mele gbe dom ɖa ɖe ame siwo hã ava xɔ dzinye ase to woƒe mawunyagbɔgblɔ me la ta,

I praye not for them alone: but for them also which shall beleve on me thorowe their preachynge

21 be wo katã woanɔ ɖeka abe ale si wò, Fofo la, nèle menye, eye nye hã mele mewò ene. Na woawo hã nanɔ mía me, be xexea me naxɔe ase be wòe dɔm.

that they all maye be one as thou father arte in me and I in the that they maye be also one in vs that the worlde maye beleve that thou hast sent me.

22 Metsɔ ŋutikɔkɔe si nètsɔ nam la na wo; wo ameawo nenɔ ɖeka le nu sia nu me, be xexea me nanyae be wòe dɔm, eye nèlɔ̃ woawo hã abe ale si nèlɔ̃m ene.

And that glory that thou gavest me I have geven them that they maye be one as we are wone.

23 Ne mele wo me, eye wò hã nèle menye la, mi katã miade blibo le ɖekanyenye me, ale be xexea me nanya be wòe dɔm eye nèlɔ̃ woawo hã abe ale si nèlɔ̃m ene.

I in them and thou in me that they maye be made perfecte in one and that the worlde maye knowe that thou hast sent me and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

24 “Fofo, medi be ame siwo nètsɔ nam la nanɔ gbɔnye be woakpɔ nye ŋutikɔkɔe. Wòe na ŋutikɔkɔe siam, elabena èlɔ̃m vevie hafi xexea me va dzɔ.

Father I will that they which thou hast geven me be with me where I am that they maye se my glory which thou hast geven me. For thou lovedest me before the makynge of the worlde.

25 “Fofo dzɔdzɔetɔ, togbɔ be xexea me menya wò o hã la, menya wò, eye nusrɔ̃la siawo hã nya be, wòe dɔm.

O ryghteous father ye very worlde hath not knowen the: but I have knowen the and these have knowen that thou hast sent me.

26 Meɖe ame si nènye la fia wo, eye mayi edzi ana woanya wò, bena lɔlɔ̃ si nètsɔ nam la nanɔ woawo hã me, eye nye hã manɔ wo me.”

And I have declared vnto them thy name and will declare it that the love wher wt thou hast loved me be in them and that I be in them.
