< Yohanes 13 >

1 Azɔ esusɔ ŋkeke ɖeka ko ne Ŋutitotoŋkekenyui la naɖo, eye Yesu nya be ɣeyiɣi la de be yeadzo le xexea me, atrɔ ayi Fofo la gbɔ. Elɔ̃ etɔ siwo le xexea me ŋutɔ, eye wògaɖe eƒe lɔlɔ̃ fia wo.
And before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing that the hour has come when He must depart out of this world to His Father, having loved His own who were in the world, with divine love, He loved them perfectly.
2 Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo nɔ fiẽnuɖuƒe. Do ŋgɔ la, Abosam dee ta me na Yuda Iskariɔt, Simɔn ƒe vi la be wòaɖade Yesu asi.
And the supper being on hand, the devil already having entered into the heart, that Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, should betray Him,
3 Yesu nya be Fofo la tsɔ ŋusẽwo katã na ye. Enya hã be Mawu gbɔe yetso va, eye yeagatrɔ ayi Mawu gbɔ.
knowing that the Father has given all things into His hands, and He came out from God, and is going away to God,
4 Le esia ta Yesu tsi tsitre le fiẽnuɖukplɔ̃ la ŋu, eye wòɖe eƒe awu da ɖi hetsɔ tsiletsɛ sa ɖe ali.
He rises from the supper, and lays aside His garments, and taking a towel, girded Himself;
5 Etsɔ gagba ku tsi ɖe eme, eye wòde asi nusrɔ̃lawo ƒe afɔwo kɔklɔ me. Ne eklɔ ame aɖe tɔ vɔ la, etsɔa tsiletsɛ si wòsa ɖe ali la tutua afɔ nɛ.
then He pours water into a bowl, and began to wash the feet of the disciples, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.
6 Esi wòɖo Simɔn Petro dzi be wòaklɔ eƒe afɔwo nɛ la, Petro biae be, “Aƒetɔ, ɖe nèbe yeaklɔ nye afɔwoa?”
Then He comes to Simon Peter; he says to Him; Lord, do you wash my feet?
7 Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Màse nu si ta mele ewɔm la gɔme fifia o, gake àva se egɔme emegbe.”
Jesus responded and said to him, What I do you know not now; but shall understand hereafter.
8 Petro gblɔ be, “Gbeɖe, màklɔ nye afɔwo ŋuti o.” Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Ne nyemeklɔ wò afɔwo o la, ekema màkpɔ gome aɖeke tso gbɔnye o.” (aiōn g165)
Peter says to Him, You may never wash my feet. Jesus responded to him, If I wash thee not, thou hast not part with me. (aiōn g165)
9 Simɔn Petro gblɔ be, “Aƒetɔ, ne ele nenema la, ekema menye nye afɔwo ko o, ke boŋ klɔ nye asiwo kple nye ta hã.”
And Simon Peter says to Him, Lord, not only my feet, but my hands and my head.
10 Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Ame si le tsi xoxo la, afɔkɔklɔ koe hiã nɛ be eŋuti nakɔ nyuie. Mia ŋuti kɔ, gake menye mi katã ŋutie kɔ o.”
Jesus says to Him, He that is bathed hath no need to wash his hands, but is altogether clean: and you are clean, but not all.
11 Yesu gblɔ nya sia elabena enya ame si gbɔna ede ge asi.
For He knew the one betraying Him. On this account He said, You are not all clean.
12 Esi wòklɔ nusrɔ̃lawo ƒe afɔwo vɔ la, etsɔ eƒe awu do, nɔ anyi eye wòbia wo be, “Miese nu si mewɔ na mi la gɔmea?
Then when He washed their feet, and took His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, Do you understand what I have done to you?
13 Miawo la, mieyɔam be, ‘Aƒetɔ’ kple ‘Nufiala’, eye esia le eme vavã.
You call me Master and Lord, and you speak beautifully; for I am.
14 Minya be esi nye, miaƒe Aƒetɔ kple Nufiala, meklɔ miaƒe afɔwo ŋu la, ele na miawo hã be miaklɔ mia nɔewo ƒe afɔwo.
If then I, your Lord and Master, washed your feet, you ought also to wash the feet of one another.
15 Kpɔɖeŋu wònye mena mi, eya ta miwɔ nu si mewɔ na mi la.
For I have given unto you an example, that you may also do as I have done to you.
16 Mele egblɔm na mi le nyateƒe me be subɔla mekɔna wu eƒe aƒetɔ o, eye dɔtsɔla hã mewua ame si dɔe la o.
Truly, truly, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; nor the apostle greater than him that sent him.
17 Mienya esiawo, eya ta miwɔ nenema be woahe yayra geɖe vɛ na mi.
If you know these things, happy are ye if you may do them.
18 “Ele eme be menye mi katãe mele nya sia gblɔm na o, elabena menya ame siwo metia la. Mawunya gblɔ be, ‘Ame si le nu ɖum kplim lae adem asi.’
I do not speak concerning you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.
19 “Mele egblɔm na mi hafi wòava eme. Mele nya siawo katã gblɔm na mi be ne wova eme la, miaxɔ dzinye ase.
Now I tell you before it takes place, in order that you may believe, when it may be done, that I am He.
20 Mele egblɔm na mi le nyateƒe me be ame si axɔ ame si medɔ la, nyee wòxɔ, eye ame si axɔm la, xɔ ame si dɔm.”
Truly, truly, I say unto you, The one receiving the one whom I may send, receiveth me; and the one receiving me, receives Him that sent me.
21 Esi Yesu gblɔ nya sia vɔ la, eʋuʋu le eɖokui me, eye wògblɔ be, “Le nyateƒe me la, mia dometɔ ɖeka adem asi.”
Jesus saying these things, was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said; Truly, truly, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
22 Nya siawo na be nusrɔ̃lawo trɔ kpɔ wo nɔewo ƒe ŋkume, elabena womenya wo dometɔ si wòwɔnɛ o.
Then the disciples began to look to one another, being at a loss concerning which one He speaks.
23 Nusrɔ̃lawo dometɔ ɖeka, esi Yesu lɔ̃na vevie la, nɔ anyi ziɔ ɖe Yesu ŋu.
And one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved, was leaning on the bosom of Jesus.
24 Simɔn Petro wɔ dzesi nɛ gblɔ nɛ be, “Bia mía dometɔ si ŋuti wòle nu ƒom tsoe lae.”
Then Simon Peter beckons to him, to ask who he might be concerning whom He speaks.
25 Nusrɔ̃la la gaziɔ ɖe Yesu ŋu, eye wòbiae be, “Aƒetɔ, ame kae?”
And that one, falling toward the bosom of Jesus says to Him, Lord, who is he?
And Jesus responds, He is that one to whom, having dipped the morsel, I will give it. And having dipped the morsel, He takes it, and gives it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
27 Esi Yuda ɖu abolo la vɔ ko la, Satana ge ɖe eme. Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Ɖe abla nàyi aɖawɔ nu si nèɖo la.”
And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus says to him; What thou art doing, do more quickly.
28 Ke ame siwo le kplɔ̃a ŋu la mese nya si Yesu gblɔ nɛ la gɔme o.
And no one of those sitting with Him knew what He said to him:
29 Wobu be esi Yuda nye woƒe gadzikpɔla tae Yesu le edɔm be wòayi aɖaxe fe ɖe nu si ɖum yewole la ta loo alo wòayi aɖana ga ame dahewo.
for some thought, as Judas had the purse, that Jesus says to him, Purchase some of those things of which we have need at the supper; or something that he might give to the poor.
30 Esi Yuda ɖu abolo la teti ko la, edzo le xɔa me enumake hege ɖe viviti la me.
Then he having taken the morsel, went out immediately: and it was night.
31 Esi Yuda do go le xɔa me la, Yesu gblɔ be, “Ɣeyiɣi de be woaɖe Amegbetɔ Vi la ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ɖe go, eye woaɖe Mawu ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ɖe go to edzi.
Then when he went out, Jesus says, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in Him.
32 Ne woɖe Mawu ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ɖe go to edzi la, Mawu aɖe Via ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ɖe go to eya ŋutɔ dzi, eye wòaɖe eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe la afia enumake.
And if God is glorified in Him, God will indeed glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately.
33 “Vinye lɔlɔ̃awo, ɣeyiɣi kpui aɖe ko maganɔ mia gbɔ! Abe ale si megblɔ na Yudatɔwo ene la, miadim, gake miakpɔm o, eye afi si meyina hã la, miate ŋu ava o.
Children, I am still with you. You shall seek me, and as I said to the Jews, Whither I go, you are not able to come; and now I say to you.
34 “Se yeye mena mi: Milɔ̃ mia nɔewo. Abe ale si melɔ̃ mi ene la, miawo hã milɔ̃ mia nɔewo nenema.
I give unto a new commandment, That you must love one another with divine love; as I have loved you with divine love, that you must also love one another with divine love:
35 To esia wɔwɔ me la, amewo katã anya be nye nusrɔ̃lawo mienye, ne mielɔ̃ mia nɔewo.”
in this shall all know that you are my disciples, if you may have divine love one with another.
36 Simɔn Petro biae be, “Aƒetɔ, afi ka nèyina?” Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Afi si meyina fifia la, miate ŋu akplɔm ɖo ayi o, ke emegbe la, miava.”
Simon Peter says to Him; Lord, whither do you go? Jesus responded, Whither I go you are not able to follow me now; but shall follow me hereafter.
37 Petro gabiae be, “Nu ka ta nyemate ŋu akplɔ wò ɖo fifia o? Nye la, mele klalo be mabu nye agbe ɖe tawò.”
Peter says to Him; Lord, why am I not able to follow thee now? I will lay down my soul for thee.
38 Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Èka ɖe edzi be àte ŋu abu wò agbe ɖe tanyea? Nyateƒe gblɔm mele na wò be, hafi koklo naku atɔ la, àgbe nu le gbɔnye zi etɔ̃.”
Jesus responds to him, Wilt thou lay down thy soul for me? Truly, truly, I say unto thee, that the cock shall not crow, until thou shalt thrice deny me.
