The disciplis seien to hym, Maister, now the Jewis souyten for to stoone thee, and eft goist thou thidir?
9 Yesu ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Kekeli nɔa anyi gaƒoƒo wuieve le ŋkeke me, eye le ɣeyiɣi siawo me la, ame ate ŋu azɔ numaklimaklii, elabena ele xexe sia me ƒe kekeli kpɔm.
Jhesus answerde, Whether ther ben not twelue ouris of the dai? If ony man wandre in the dai, he hirtith not, for he seeth the liyt of this world.
10 Gake ne ele zɔzɔm le zã me la, akli nu, elabena viviti do.”
But if he wandre in the niyt, he stomblith, for liyt is not in him.
11 Esi wògblɔ nya sia vɔ la, eyi edzi be, “Mia xɔlɔ̃ Lazaro le alɔ̃ dɔm, eya ta meyina be maɖanyɔe.”
He seith these thingis, and aftir these thingis he seith to hem, Lazarus, oure freend, slepith, but Y go to reise hym fro sleep.

And so Jhesus cam, and foond hym hauynge thanne foure daies in the graue.
18 Betania anɔ abe agbadroƒe eve kple afã ene tso Yerusalem gbɔ,
And Bethany was bisidis Jerusalem, as it were fiftene furlongis.
19 eya ta Yudatɔ geɖewo va kua teƒe be yewoado baba na Marta kple Maria siwo nye ameyinugbe la nɔviwo.
And many of the Jewis camen to Mary and Martha, to coumforte hem of her brothir.
20 Esi Marta se be Yesu gbɔna la, edo go be yeaɖakpee le mɔa dzi. Ke Maria ya meyi o.
Therfor as Martha herde, that Jhesu cam, sche ran to hym; but Mary sat at home.
21 Marta gblɔ na Yesu be, “Aƒetɔ, nenye ɖe nènɔ afi sia la, anye ne nɔvinye la meku o.
Therfor Martha seide to Jhesu, Lord, if thou haddist be here, my brother hadde not be deed.
22 Gake menya be, nu sia nu si nèbia Mawu la, ana wò.”
But now Y woot, that what euere thingis thou schalt axe of God, God schal yyue to thee.
23 Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Nɔviwò la atsi tsitre.”
Jhesus seith to hir, Thi brother schal rise ayen.

Martha seith to hym, Y woot, that he schal rise ayen in the ayen risyng in the laste dai.
25 Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Nyee nye Tsitretsitsi la kple Agbe la. Ame si xɔa dzinye sena la, togbɔ be aku hã la, aganɔ agbe;
Jhesus seith to hir, Y am ayen risyng and lijf; he that bileueth in me, yhe, thouy he be deed, he schal lyue;

and ech that lyueth, and bileueth in me, schal not die with outen ende. Bileuest thou this thing? (aiōn )
27 Marta ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Ɛ̃, Aƒetɔ, mexɔe se be, wòe nye Kristo, Mawu Vi la, ame si ava xexea me la.”
Sche seith to hym, Yhe, Lord, Y haue bileued, that thou art Crist, the sone of the lyuynge God, that hast come in to this world.
28 Esi wògblɔ nya sia la, edzo yi aƒe me, eye wòyɔ nɔvia Maria ɖe kpɔe gblɔ nɛ be, “Nufiala la va ɖo, eye wòdi be yeakpɔ wò.”
And whanne sche hadde seid this thing, sche wente, and clepide Marie, hir sistir, in silence, and seide, The maister cometh, and clepith thee.
29 Esi Maria se nya sia la, etso enumake yi Yesu gbɔ.
Sche, as sche herd, aroos anoon, and cam to hym.
30 Yesu mege ɖe dua me haɖe o, eganɔ afi si Marta va kpee le.
And Jhesus cam not yit `in to the castel, but he was yit in that place, where Martha hadde comun ayens hym.
31 Esi Yudatɔ siwo va aƒea me be yewoafa akɔ na Maria la kpɔe wòtso kpla do go yina la, wobu be Lazaro ƒe yɔdo to wòyina be yeaɖafa avi, eya ta wokplɔe ɖo.
Therfor the Jewis that weren with hir in the hous, and coumfortiden hir, whanne thei sayn Marie, that sche roos swithe, and wente out, thei sueden hir, and seiden, For sche goith to the graue, to wepe there.
32 Esi Maria zɔ va ɖo afi si Yesu nɔ, eye wòkpɔe la, edze klo ɖe eƒe afɔ nu gblɔ nɛ be, “Aƒetɔ, ɖe nèle afi sia la, anye ne nɔvinye la meku o.”
But whanne Marie was comun where Jhesus was, sche seynge hym felde doun to his feet, and seide to hym, Lord, if thou haddist be here, my brother hadde not be deed.
33 Esi Yesu kpɔ ale si Maria nɔ avi fam, eye Yudatɔwo hã nɔ efam kplii la, ewɔ nublanui nɛ ŋutɔ, eye eƒe ta me ɖe fu.
And therfor whanne Jhesu saiy hir wepyng, and the Jewis wepynge that weren with hir, he `made noise in spirit, and troblide hym silf,
34 Ebia be, “Afi ka woɖii ɖo?” Woɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Aƒetɔ, va kpɔ!”
and seide, Where han ye leid hym? Thei seien to hym, Lord, come, and se.
And Jhesus wepte. Therfor the Jewis seiden,
36 Esia ta Yudatɔwo gblɔ na wo nɔewo be, “Mikpɔ ale si gbegbe wòlɔ̃e ɖa?”
Lo! hou he louede hym.
37 Gake wo dometɔ aɖewo gblɔ be, “Nu ka ta ame si ʋu ŋku na ŋkuagbãtɔ la mena be ame sia meku o ɖo?”
And summe of hem seiden, Whethir this man that openyde the iyen of the borun blynde man, myyte not make that this schulde not die?
38 Yesu gaʋuʋu le eɖokui me esi wòva yɔdo la gbɔ. Yɔdo la nye agado aɖe si nu wotsɔ kpe xee.
Therfor Jhesus eft makynge noise in hym silf, cam to the graue. And there was a denne, and a stoon was leid theronne.
39 Eɖe gbe na ameawo be, “Mimli kpe la ɖa.” Ke Marta, ame si nɔvi ku la gblɔ be, “Aƒetɔ, woɖii ŋkeke ene sɔŋ nye esi, eya ta anɔ ʋeʋẽm akpa.”
And Jhesus seith, Take ye awey the stoon. Martha, the sistir of hym that was deed, seith to hym, Lord, he stynkith now, for he hath leye foure daies.
40 Yesu gblɔ be, “Nyemegblɔ na wò be, ne èxɔ dzinye se la, àkpɔ Mawu ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe oa?”
Jhesus seith to hir, Haue Y not seid to thee, that if thou bileuest, thou schalt se the glorie of God?
41 Ale womli kpe la ɖa. Azɔ Yesu wu mo dzi, eye wògblɔ be, “Fofo, meda akpe na wò be èɖoa tom.
Therfor thei token awei the stoon. And Jhesus lifte vp hise iyen, and seide, Fadir, Y do thankyngis to thee, for thou hast herd me; and Y wiste,
42 Èɖoa tom ɣe sia ɣi, gake mele esia gblɔm le ame siwo katã le afi sia ta, ne woaxɔe ase be wòe dɔm.”
that thou euermore herist me, but for the puple that stondith aboute, Y seide, that thei bileue, that thou hast sent me.
43 Esi wògblɔ nya sia la, edo ɣli sesĩe be, “Lazaro, do go va!”
Whanne he hadde seid these thingis, he criede with a greet vois, Lazarus, come thou forth.
44 Enumake ame kuku si ƒe afɔwo kple asiwo le babla la fɔ tso yɔdo la me do kple eye ameɖivɔ si me woblae ɖo, eye taku bla ŋkume nɛ. Yesu gblɔ na ameawo be, “Miɖe ameɖivɔawo le eŋu ne wòadzo.”
And anoon he that was deed, cam out, boundun the hondis and feet with boondis, and his face boundun with a sudarie. And Jhesus seith to hem, Vnbynde ye hym, and suffre ye hym to go forth.
45 Yudatɔ siwo va be yewoakpɔ Maria ɖa, eye wokpɔ nu si Yesu wɔ la xɔ edzi se.
Therfor many of the Jewis that camen to Marie and Martha, and seyn what thingis Jhesus dide, bileueden in hym.
46 Gake wo dometɔ aɖewo yi Farisitɔwo gbɔ, eye wogblɔ nu si Yesu wɔ la na wo.
But summe of hem wente to the Farisees, and seiden to hem, what thingis Jhesus `hadde don.
Therfor the bischopis and the Farisees gadriden a counsel ayens Jhesu, and seiden, What do we? for this man doith many myraclis.
48 Enye nyateƒe be ŋutsu sia le nukunu geɖewo wɔm. Ne míeɖe mɔ nɛ alea la, ame sia ame axɔ edzi ase, eye Romatɔwo ava axɔ míaƒe nɔƒe kple dukɔ la le mía si.”
If we leeue hym thus, alle men schulen bileue in hym; and Romayns schulen come, and schulen take our place and oure folk.
49 Wo dometɔ ɖeka si ŋkɔe nye Kayafa, ame si nye nunɔlagã le ƒe ma me la tsi tsitre gblɔ be, “Mienya naneke o.
But oon of hem, Cayfas bi name, whanne he was bischop of that yeer, seide to hem,
50 Mienya be enyo be ame ɖeka naku ɖe dukɔa ta wu be dukɔ la katã natsrɔ̃ oa?”
Ye witen nothing, ne thenken, that it spedith to you, that o man die for the puple, and that al the folc perische not.
51 Megblɔ esia le eɖokui si o, ke boŋ abe nunɔlagã le ƒe ma me ene la, egblɔ nya ɖi be Yesu aku ɖe dukɔ la ta,
But he seide not this thing of hym silf, but whanne he was bischop of that yeer, he prophesiede, that Jhesu was to die for the folc,
52 eye menye ɖe Israel dukɔ la ɖeɖe ko ta o, ke boŋ ɖe Mawu ƒe vi siwo kaka ɖe xexea me katã la ta, be woaƒo wo katã nu ƒu woazu ame ɖeka.
and not oneli for the folc, but that he schulde gadere in to oon the sones of God that weren scaterid.
53 Tso ema dzi la, wowɔ ɖoɖo be yewoawu Yesu.
Therfor fro that day thei souyten for to sle hym.
54 Esia ta Yesu megayia dutoƒo le Yudatɔwo dome. Edzo yi dzogbekɔƒe aɖe si woyɔna be Efraim la me, afi si eya kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo nɔ.
Therfor Jhesus walkide not thanne opynli among the Jewis; but he wente in to a cuntre bisidis desert, in to a citee, that is seid Effren, and there he dwellide with hise disciplis.
And the pask of the Jewis was niy, and many of the cuntrey wenten vp to Jerusalem bifor the pask, to halewe hem silf.
56 Wo dometɔ geɖewo di be yewoakpɔ Yesu, eya ta esi wonɔ tsitre le gbedoxɔa me la, wobia wo nɔewo be, “Alekee nye miaƒe susu? Ele azã la ɖuƒe va gea?”
Therfor thei souyten Jhesu, and spaken togidere, stondynge in the temple, What gessen ye, for he cometh not to the feeste day?
57 Nunɔlagãwo kple Farisitɔwo ɖe gbe be ne ame aɖe kpɔ Yesu la, nena nyanya yewo, ne yewoalée.
For the bischopis and Farisees hadden youun a maundement, that if ony man knowe where he is, that he schewe, that thei take hym.
