< Hiob 42 >
1 Tete Hiob ɖo eŋu na Yehowa be:
Then Job answered YHWH, and said,
2 “Azɔ menya be àte ŋu awɔ nu sia nu, ame aɖeke mate ŋu agblẽ wò ɖoɖowo me o.
I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
3 Èbia be, ‘Ame kae nye esi tsyɔ nu nye aɖaŋudede dzi numanyamanyatɔe?’
Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
4 “Ègblɔ be, ‘Ɖo to azɔ, ne maƒo nu, ne mabia gbe wò, ne nàɖo eŋu nam.’
Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
5 Nye towo se nya le ŋuwò, ke azɔ la, nye ŋkuwo kpɔ wò
I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
6 eya ta nu siwo katã megblɔ la kpe ŋu nam eye megbe wo le ke kple afi me.”
Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
And it was so, that after YHWH had spoken these words unto Job, YHWH said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
8 eya ta azɔ mitsɔ nyitsu adre kple agbo adre, ne miayi ɖe nye dɔla Hiob gbɔ eye miasa numevɔ na mia ɖokuiwo.
Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.
9 Ale Temanitɔ, Elifaz, Suhitɔ, Bildad kple Naamatitɔ, Zofar wɔ abe ale si Yehowa de see na wo ene eye Yehowa xɔ Hiob ƒe gbe si wòdo ɖa ɖe wo ta.
So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as YHWH commanded them: YHWH also accepted Job.
10 Esi Hiob do gbe ɖa ɖe exɔlɔ̃awo ta vɔ la, Yehowa gawɔe kesinɔtɔe abe tsã ene eye wòdzi eƒe kesinɔnuwo ɖe edzi nɛ zi eve wu tsã.
And YHWH turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also YHWH gave Job twice as much as he had before.
11 Nɔviŋutsuwo kple nɔvia nyɔnuwo katã kple eƒe ame nyanyɛwo katã va egbɔ eye woɖu nu kplii le eƒe aƒe me. Wofa akɔ nɛ, hede dzi ƒo nɛ ɖe dzɔgbevɔ̃e siwo Yehowa he va edzii la ta eye wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe na klosaloga kple sikasigɛe.
Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that YHWH had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
12 Yehowa yra Hiob fifia wu tsã. Alẽ akpe wuiene, kposɔ akpe ade, agbleŋlɔnyi eve, eve teƒe akpe ɖeka kple tedzi akpe ɖeka nɔ esi.
So YHWH blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
He had also seven sons and three daughters.
14 Ena ŋkɔ nyɔnuvi gbãtɔ be, Yemima, evelia be, Kezia eye etɔ̃lia be Keren Hapuk.
And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.
Wo fofo na domenyinu wo ɖe wo nɔviŋutsuwo xa.
And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
16 Le esia megbe la, Hiob nɔ agbe ƒe alafa ɖeka kple blaene eye wòkpɔ viawo kple woƒe viwo ƒe dzidzime ene sɔŋ.
After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.
17 Ale Hiob tsi, nɔ agbe wòde edeƒe hafi ku.
So Job died, being old and full of days.
