< Hiob 25 >
1 Bildad, Suhitɔ ɖo eŋu nɛ be,
Then responded Bildad the Shuhite, and said: —
2 “Dziɖuɖu kple ŋɔdzi nye Mawu tɔ, eyae ɖo ɖoɖo anyi ɖe dziƒo ƒe kɔkɔƒewo.
Dominion and dread, are with him, who causeth prosperity among his lofty ones;
3 Ɖe woate ŋu axlẽ eƒe aʋakɔwoa? Ame ka tame eƒe kekeli meklẽ ɖo o?
Is there any number to his troops? And upon whom ariseth not his light?
4 Ekema aleke amegbetɔ anye dzɔdzɔetɔ le Mawu ŋkume? Aleke amegbetɔ, nyɔnu tɔ dzidzia, anɔ dzadzɛe?
How then shall, a mortal, be just with GOD? Or how shall he be pure who is born of a woman?
5 Ne ɣleti ƒe keklẽ menye naneke nɛ o eye ɣletiviwo hã medza le eŋkume o la,
Look as far as the moon, and it is not clear, and, the stars, are not bright in his eyes!
6 aleke amegbetɔ si nye ŋɔvi kple ame vi si nye ŋɔ la ayi nane nye ge le eŋkume!”
How much less a mortal who is a creeping thing? Or a son of the earth-born who is a worm?
