Yeremia 11
1 Esiae nye gbe si tso Yehowa gbɔ va na Yeremia.
The word that was maad of the Lord to Jeremye,
2 “Ɖo to nubabla sia me nyawo ne nàgblɔ wo na Yudatɔwo kple ame siwo le Yerusalem.
and seide, Here ye the wordis of this couenaunt, and speke ye to the men of Juda, and to the dwelleris of Jerusalem; and thou schalt seie to hem,
3 Gblɔ na wo be ale Yehowa, Israel ƒe Mawu la gblɔe nye esi: ‘Fiƒode le ame si mewɔ ɖe nubabla sia me nyawo dzi o la dzi.
The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Cursid be the man that herith not the wordis of this couenaunt,
4 Nya siwo ƒe se mede na mia fofowo esi mekplɔ wo do goe tso Egipte, tso galolõkpodzo me.’ Megblɔ be, ‘Miɖo tom, miwɔ nu siwo katã meɖo na mi, ekema mianye nye dukɔ eye nye hã manye miaƒe Mawu.
which Y comaundide to youre fadris, in the dai in which Y ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt, fro the irone furneis; and Y seide, Here ye my vois, and do ye alle thingis whiche Y comaundide to you, and ye schulen be in to a puple to me, and Y schal be in to God to you;
5 Ekema mawɔ ɖe atam si meka na mia fofowo be matsɔ anyigba si le dzidzim kple notsi kple anyitsi na wo la dzi.’ Esiae nye anyigba si dzi miele egbea.” Meɖo eŋu be, “Amen, Yehowa.”
that Y reise the ooth which Y swoor to youre fadris, that Y schulde yyue to hem a lond flowynge with mylk and hony, as this dai is. And Y answeride, and seide, Amen, Lord.
6 Yehowa gblɔ nam be, “Ɖe gbeƒã nya siawo katã le Yuda duwo kple Yerusalem ƒe ablɔwo dzi be ‘Miɖo to nubabla sia me nyawo ne mialé wo me ɖe asi.
And the Lord seide to me, Crye thou alle these wordis in the citees of Juda, and with out Jerusalem, and seie thou, Here ye the wordis of this couenaunt, and do ye tho;
7 Tso gbe si gbe mekplɔ mia fofowo do goe tso Egipte va se ɖe egbe sia la, mexlɔ̃ nu wo zi geɖe be, “Miɖo tom.”
for Y witnessynge haue witnessid to youre fadris, in the dai in which Y ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt, `til to this dai; Y roos eerli, and witnesside, and seide, Here ye my vois.
8 Ke womeɖo to alo see nam o, ke boŋ wodze woƒe dzi vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe tosesẽ yome. Ale mehe fiƒode siwo katã megblɔ da ɖi ɖe nubabla la dzi dalawo ŋu la va wo dzi.’”
And thei herden not, nether bowiden doun her eere, but thei yeden forth ech man in the schrewidnesse of his yuel herte; and Y brouyte in on hem alle the wordis of this couenaunt, which Y comaundide that thei schulden do, and thei diden not.
9 Tete Yehowa gblɔ nam be, “Nugbeɖoɖo aɖe le Yudatɔwo kple Yerusalem nɔlawo dome.
And the Lord seide to me, Sweryng togidere is foundun in the men of Juda, and in the dwelleris of Jerusalem;
10 Wotrɔ yi wo fofowo ƒe nu vɔ̃wo gbɔ, ame siwo gbe nye gbe sese. Wokplɔ mawu bubuwo ɖo be yewoasubɔ wo. Israel ƒe aƒe la kple Yuda ƒe aƒe la siaa tu nubabla si mewɔ kple wo fofowo.
thei turneden ayen to the formere wickidnessis of her fadris, that nolden here my wordis; and therfor these men yeden aftir alien goddis, for to serue hem; the hous of Israel and the hous of Juda maden voide my couenaunt, which Y made with the fadris of hem.
11 Eya ta ale Yehowa gblɔe nye si, ‘Mahe gbegblẽ si nu womate ŋu asi le o la ava wo dzi togbɔ be woado ɣli ayɔm hã la, nyematɔ na wo o.
Wherfor the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal bringe in on hem yuels, of whiche thei schulen not mow go out; and thei schulen crie to me, and Y schal not here hem.
12 Yuda ƒe duwo kple Yerusalem nɔlawo afa avi na woƒe mawu siwo wodoa dzudzɔ ʋeʋĩ na gake womate ŋu akpe ɖe wo ŋuti ne gbegblẽ siawo katã va ƒo ɖi o.
And the citees of Juda and the dwellers of Jerusalem schulen go, and schulen crye to hem, to whiche thei offren sacrifices; and thei schulen not saue hem in the tyme of her turment.
13 O Yuda, wò mawuwo sɔ gbɔ abe wò duwo ene, eye nuxeƒe siwo nèɖo be yeanɔ dzudzɔ ʋeʋĩ dom na ŋukpenamawu, Baal la sɔ gbɔ abe Yerusalem ƒe ablɔwo ene.’
For thou, Juda, thi goddis weren bi the noumbre of thi citees, and thou settidist auters of schenschipe, bi the noumbre of the weies of Jerusalem, auters to offre sacrifices to Baalym.
14 “Mègado gbe ɖa ɖe ame siawo ta o, mègaɖe kuku ɖe wo nu o, eye mègabia naneke na wo o, elabena ne woyɔm le xaxaɣi la, nyemaɖo to wo o.
Therfor nyle thou preie for this puple, and take thou not heriyng and preier for hem; for Y schal not here in the tyme of the cry of hem to me, in the tyme of the turment of hem.
15 “Nu ka wɔm nye lɔlɔ̃tɔ le le nye gbedoxɔ la me, le esime wowɔ nu tovowo kple ame geɖewo? Ɖe wò vɔsalã kɔkɔewo ate ŋu aɖe wò le tohehe mea? Elabena ne èle nu tovowo wɔm la, dzi nɔa dzɔwòm.”
What is it, that my derlyng doith many greet trespassis in myn hous? whether hooli fleischis schulen do awei fro thee thi malice, in which thou hast glorie?
16 Yehowa na ŋkɔ wò be amiti dama si dzi kutsetse nyuiwo le. Gake le gbeɖeɖe aɖe abe ahom sesẽ ene me la, ana dzo afiae eye eƒe alɔdzewo hã afia keŋkeŋ.
The Lord clepide thi name an olyue tre, fair, ful of fruyt, schapli; at the vois of a greet speche fier brent an hiy ther ynne, and the buyschis therof ben brent.
17 Yehowa Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la, ame si li ke wò la ɖo gbegblẽ ɖe ŋuwò elabena Israel ƒe aƒe kple Yuda ƒe aƒe wɔ vɔ̃ eye wodo dziku nɛ le ale si wodo dzudzɔ ʋeʋĩ na Baal la ta.
And the Lord of oostis that plauntide thee, spak yuel on thee, for the yuels of the hous of Israel, and of the hous of Juda, whiche thei diden to hem silf, and offriden to Baalym, to terre me to wraththe.
18 Esime Yehowa ɖe woƒe nugbeɖoɖowo fiam la, menyae, elabena le ɣe ma yi la, efia nu siwo wɔm wonɔ lam.
Forsothe, Lord, thou schewidist to me, and Y knew; thou schewidist to me the studies of hem.
19 Menɔ abe alẽvi si wokplɔ yina wuwu ge la ene; nyemekpɔe dze sii be woɖo nugbe ɖe ŋutinye le gbɔgblɔm be, “Mina míagblẽ ati la kple eƒe kutsetse, mina míaɖee ɖa le agbagbeawo ƒe anyigba dzi, ale be womagaɖo ŋku eƒe ŋkɔ dzi gbeɖegbeɖe o.”
And Y am as a mylde lomb, which is borun to slayn sacrifice; and Y knew not, that thei thouyten counsels on me, and seiden, Sende we a tre in to the brede of hym, and rase we hym awei fro the lond of lyueris, and his name be no more hadde in mynde.
20 Ke, O Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ, wò ame si drɔ̃a ʋɔnu dzɔdzɔe, doa dzi kple tamesusu kpɔ la, na makpɔ wò hlɔ̃biabia si le wo dzi va ge elabena asiwò me metsɔ nye nya dee.
But thou, Lord of oostis, that demest iustli, and preuest reynes and hertis, se Y thi veniaunce of hem; for to thee Y schewide my cause.
21 “Eya ta ale Yehowa gblɔ tso Anatɔt ŋutsuwo, ame siwo le wò agbe yome tim eye wole gbɔgblɔm be, ‘Mègagblɔ nya ɖi le Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ me o, ne menye nenema o la, míawu wò.’
Therfor the Lord seith these thingis to the men of Anathot, that seken thi lijf, and seien, Thou schalt not prophesie in the name of the Lord, and thou schalt not die in oure hondis.
22 Le esia ta, ale Yehowa Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la gblɔe nye esi: ‘Mahe to na wo. Woƒe ɖekakpuiwo atsi yi nu, dɔwuame atsrɔ̃ wo viŋutsuwo kple vinyɔnuwo.
Therfor the Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal visite on hem; the yonge men of hem schulen die bi swerd, the sones of hem and the douytris of hem schulen die for hungur;
23 Ame aɖeke masusɔ o, elabena mahe dzɔgbevɔ̃e gã aɖe ada ɖe Anatɔt ŋutsuwo dzi le ƒe si meɖo be mahe to na wo la me.’”
and no relifs, ether children abidynge, schulen be of hem; for Y schal bringe ynne yuel on the men of Anathot, the yeer of the visitacioun of hem.
