< Yesaya 51 >

1 “Miɖo tom, mi ame siwo tia dzɔdzɔenyenye yome, eye miedia Yehowa. Mikpɔ agakpe si me woɖe mi tsoe kple fukpekpe si me woɖe mi le la dzi.
Hearken to Me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD; look unto the rock whence ye were hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye were digged.
2 Mikpɔ mia fofo Abraham kple Sara, ame siwo dzi mi la dzi. Esi meyɔe la, eya ɖeka koe, gake meyrae, eye mewɔe wòzu ame geɖe.
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bore you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.
3 Yehowa afa akɔ na Zion godoo, eye anye kɔ akpɔ eƒe gli gbagbãwo kple dɔmetɔtrɔ. Atrɔ eƒe gbegbe wòazu Edenbɔ, eƒe kuɖinyigbawo abe Yehowa ƒe abɔ ene. Dzidzɔ kple vivisese anɔ afi ma eye akpedada kple hadzidzi hã anɔ afi ma.
For the LORD hath comforted Zion; He hath comforted all her waste places, and hath made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
4 “Nye amehawo, miɖo tom, nye dukɔ, miaƒe to nenɔ ŋunye: Nufiame atso gbɔnye, eye nye ʋɔnu dzɔdzɔe dɔdrɔ̃ anye kekeli na dukɔwo.
Attend unto Me, O My people, and give ear unto Me, O My nation; for instruction shall go forth from Me, and My right on a sudden for a light of the peoples.
5 Nye dzɔdzɔenyenye gbɔna kple du, nye ɖeɖe le mɔ dzi gbɔna, eye nye abɔ ahe afia nyui tsotso vɛ na dukɔwo. Ƒukpowo akpɔ mɔ nam, eye woalala kple mɔkpɔkpɔ anɔ nye alɔ sinu kpɔm.
My favour is near, My salvation is gone forth, and Mine arms shall judge the peoples; the isles shall wait for Me, and on Mine arm shall they trust.
6 Mifɔ mo dzi ne miakpɔ dziƒo, mide mo to ne miakpɔ anyigba. Dziƒowo nu ava yi abe dzudzɔ ene. Anyigba anyunyɔ abe avɔ ene, eye edzinɔlawo aku abe tagbatsutsu ene, ke nye xɔname anɔ anyi ɖikaa, eye nye dzɔdzɔenyenye nu matsi gbeɖe o.
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner; but My salvation shall be for ever, and My favour shall not be abolished.
Hearken unto Me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is My law; fear ye not the taunt of men, neither be ye dismayed at their revilings.
8 elabena gbagblaʋui aɖu wo abe avɔ ene, eye ŋɔ aɖu wo abe ɖetifu ene. Ke nye dzɔdzɔenyenye la anɔ anyi tegbee, eye nye xɔname anɔ anyi tso dzidzime yi dzidzime.”
For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but My favour shall be for ever, and My salvation unto all generations.
9 Nyɔ, nyɔ! O! Yehowa ƒe alɔ, ne nàtsɔ ŋusẽ ado. Nyɔ abe le tsã ƒe ɣeyiɣiwo kple blemaŋɔliwo ene. Ɖe menye wòe fli Rahab kakɛkakɛ, eye nètsɔ nu ƒo ɖe lã dziŋɔ la oa?
Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Art thou not it that hewed Rahab in pieces, that pierced the dragon?
10 Ɖe menye wòe na atsiaƒu, tɔ goglo la me tsiwo mie, eye nèta mɔ ɖe atsiaƒu me be ame siwo woɖe la nato edzi ayi oa?
Art thou not it that dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
11 Yehowa ƒe ame siwo woɖe la atrɔ agbɔ. Woage ɖe Zion kple aseyetsotso, eye dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ anye fiakuku anɔ woƒe tawo dzi. Vivisese kple dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ asu wo si, eye nuxaxa kple hũɖeɖe abu ɖe wo.
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion, and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
12 “Nye, nye koe faa akɔ na mi. Ame kae nènye be nèle vɔvɔ̃m na amegbetɔ siwo le abe gbe ko ene?
I, even I, am He that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou art afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man that shall be made as grass;
13 Nu ka ta nèŋlɔ Yehowa, wò Wɔla, si keke dziƒowo me, eye wòɖo anyigba ƒe agunu anyi la be? Nu ka ta ŋɔdzi léa wò gbe sia gbe le ameteɖeanyila ƒe dɔmedzoe ta, ame si ɖoe kplikpaa be yeagblẽ nu? Afi ka ameteɖeanyila ƒe dɔmedzoe la le azɔ?
And hast forgotten the LORD thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, as he maketh ready to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor?
14 Woaɖe ga gamenɔla siwo le vɔvɔ̃m la kpuie. Womaku ɖe gaxɔ me loo alo abolo nahiã wo o,
He that is bent down shall speedily be loosed; and he shall not go down dying into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.
15 elabena nyee nye Yehowa, wò Mawu, ame si de adã atsiaƒu me be ƒutsotsoewo dze agbo. Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔe nye eŋkɔ.
For I am the LORD thy God, who stirreth up the sea, that the waves thereof roar; the LORD of hosts is His name.
16 Metsɔ nye nyawo de nuwò, eye meɣla wò ɖe nye asi ƒe vɔvɔli te. Nye ame si tsɔ dziƒowo ɖo wo teƒe heɖo anyigba gɔme anyi, eye megblɔ na Zion be, ‘Nye dukɔ nènye.’”
And I have put My words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion: 'Thou art My people.'
17 Nyɔ, nyɔ! O! Yerusalem, fɔ, wò ame si ƒe dɔmedzoekplu le Yehowa ƒe asi me. Wò ame si no nu muame la wòvɔ ƒioƒioƒio, kplu si nana amewo zɔna sɔgɔsɔgɔ.
Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, that hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of His fury; thou hast drunken the beaker, even the cup of staggering, and drained it.
18 Viŋutsu siwo katã wòdzi la ɖeke meli afia mɔe o. Viŋutsu siwo katã wònyi la, ɖeke meli alé eƒe alɔnu o.
There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up.
19 Dzɔgbevɔ̃e evee dzɔ ɖe dziwò, ame kae ate ŋu afa akɔ na wò? Gbegblẽ kple tsɔtsrɔ̃, dɔwuame kple yi ƒo go wò, ame ka ate ŋu afa akɔ na wò.
These two things are befallen thee; who shall bemoan thee? desolation and destruction, and the famine and the sword; how shall I comfort thee?
20 Nu te viwò ŋutsuwo ŋu. Womlɔ mɔtata ɖe sia ɖe ƒe dzogoewo dzi abe avugbɔ̃e si ɖo mɔ me la ene. Yehowa ƒe dɔmedzoe kple wò Mawu la ƒe mokaname ɖi ƒo na wo,
Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as an antelope in a net; they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.
21 eya ta ɖo to afii, wò ame si kpe hiã, eye nèmu aha, evɔ mèno wain hã o.
Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine;
22 Ale wò Aƒetɔ, Yehowa gblɔe nye esi, wò Mawu si ʋli eƒe dukɔ ta la be, “Kpɔ ɖa, mexɔ kplu si na nèle mumum sɔgɔsɔgɔ la le asiwò. Màgano nye dɔmedzoe ƒe nu muame la le kplu sia me azɔ gbeɖe o.
Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of His people: behold, I have taken out of thy hand the cup of staggering; the beaker, even the cup of My fury, thou shalt no more drink it again;
23 Matsɔe ade asi na wò fuwɔamela siwo gblɔna na wò be, ‘Mlɔ anyi ne míazɔ dziwò ayi’, eye nèwɔ wò dzime abe anyigba kple mɔdodo ene be woato edzi ayi.”
And I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; that have said to thy soul: 'Bow down, that we may go over'; and thou hast laid thy back as the ground, and as the street, to them that go over.
