< Yesaya 50 >
1 Ale Yehowa gblɔe nye esi, “Afi ka mia dada ƒe srɔ̃gbegbalẽ si metsɔ gbee la le? Alo ame siwo ŋu menyi fe le la dometɔ kae metsɔ mi dzra na? Miaƒe nu vɔ̃wo tae wotsɔ mi dzra ɖo. Miaƒe dzidadawo tae wonya mia dada ɖo.
Thus saith Jehovah: Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, By which I dismissed her? Or who is he among my creditors To whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities are ye sold, And for your transgressions was your mother dismissed.
2 Nu ka ta esi meva la, ame aɖeke meli o? Nu ka ta esi meyɔ mi la, ame aɖeke metɔ o? Ɖe nye abɔ to ɖe me be mate ŋu aɖe mi oa? Ɖe ŋusẽ mele ŋunye be maxɔ na mi oa? Gbe ko meɖe, tete atsiaƒu mie. Mena tɔsisiwo zu gbegbe, eye lã siwo le wo me la ƒaƒã, elabena tsi mie le wo ŋu, eye tsikɔ wu wo woku.
Wherefore, when I came, was no man at hand? When I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand too short to redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, And make the rivers a desert. Their fish putrefy for want of water, And die with thirst.
3 Metsɔ viviti tsyɔ lilikpo ŋgɔ, eye mena akpanya zu edzitsyɔnu.”
I clothe the heavens with blackness, And make sackcloth their covering.
4 Aƒetɔ Yehowa tsɔ nufiala ƒe aɖe nam be manya nya si matsɔ ado ŋusẽ ame si gbɔdzɔ lae. Enyɔam ŋdi sia ŋdi. Eʋua nye to be mase nu abe ame si wole nu fiam la ene.
The Lord Jehovah hath given me the tongue of the learned, That I might know how to strengthen with my words them that are weary; He wakeneth me every morning, He wakeneth mine ear, That I may hear in the manner of the learned.
5 Aƒetɔ Yehowa, ʋu nye towo, eye nyemadze aglã o, nyemegbugbɔ yi megbe hã o.
The Lord Jehovah opened mine ear, And I was not disobedient, Neither did I withdraw myself backward.
6 Metrɔ nye dzime na ame siwo ƒom, metrɔ nye tome na ame siwo nyɔa ge nam la. Nyemeɣla nye mo ɖe fewuɖulawo kple ame siwo nyɔa ta ɖe mo nam o.
I gave my back to the smiters, And my cheeks to them that pluck the beard; I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7 Esi Aƒetɔ Yehowa, kpena ɖe ŋunye ta la, ŋu makpem o, eya ta mewɔ nye mo wòse abe hlihakpe ene, eye menya be ŋu makpem o.
But the Lord Jehovah is my helper, Therefore shall I not be confounded; Therefore have I made my face like a flint, For I know that I shall not be put to shame.
8 Ame si ɖeam le nya me la tsɔ ɖe gbɔnye, eya ta ame kae ate ŋu atsɔ nya ɖe ŋunye? Nena míado go ŋkume kple ŋkume! Ame kae nye nunyetsola? Nekpe avu kplim!
He that defendeth my cause is near; Who will contend with me? Let us stand up together! Who is my adversary? Let him come near to me!
9 Aƒetɔ Yehowae kpe ɖe ŋunye. Ame ka ate ŋu abu fɔm? Wo katã woanyunyɔ abe avɔ ene eye agbagblaʋui aɖu wo.
Behold, the Lord Jehovah is my defender; Who is he that shall condemn me? Behold, they shall all waste away like a garment; The moth shall consume them.
10 Ame kae le mia dome si vɔ̃a Yehowa, eye wòwɔa eƒe dɔla ƒe nya dzi? Na ame si le viviti me zɔm, akaɖi mele esi o la naka ɖe Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ dzi, eye wòaɖo ŋu ɖe eƒe Mawu la ŋuti.
Who is there among you that feareth Jehovah, That hearkeneth to the voice of his servant, That walketh in darkness and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of Jehovah, And lean upon his God.
11 Ke azɔ mi ame siwo katã do dzo, eye miewɔ akakatiwo na mia ɖokuiwo la, miyi, eye miazɔ le miaƒe dzo siwo miedo kple akakati siwo miesi la ƒe keklẽ nu. Esiae nye nu si miaxɔ tso asinyeme: Miamlɔ anyi ɖe fuwɔame me.
Behold, all ye who kindle a fire, Who gird yourselves with burning arrows! Walk ye in the light of your fire, And in the burning arrows which ye have kindled. This shall ye have from my hand; Ye shall lie down in sorrow.
