< Yesaya 50 >
1 Ale Yehowa gblɔe nye esi, “Afi ka mia dada ƒe srɔ̃gbegbalẽ si metsɔ gbee la le? Alo ame siwo ŋu menyi fe le la dometɔ kae metsɔ mi dzra na? Miaƒe nu vɔ̃wo tae wotsɔ mi dzra ɖo. Miaƒe dzidadawo tae wonya mia dada ɖo.
Thus hath said the Lord, Where is your mother's bill of divorcement, wherewith I have sent her away? or who of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? behold, for your iniquities were ye sold, and for your transgressions was your mother sent away.
2 Nu ka ta esi meva la, ame aɖeke meli o? Nu ka ta esi meyɔ mi la, ame aɖeke metɔ o? Ɖe nye abɔ to ɖe me be mate ŋu aɖe mi oa? Ɖe ŋusẽ mele ŋunye be maxɔ na mi oa? Gbe ko meɖe, tete atsiaƒu mie. Mena tɔsisiwo zu gbegbe, eye lã siwo le wo me la ƒaƒã, elabena tsi mie le wo ŋu, eye tsikɔ wu wo woku.
Why did I come and no man was there, did I call, with none to answer? hath my hand become too short for redeeming? or is there no power in me to deliver? behold, through my threatening I can dry up the sea, I can change the rivers into a wilderness: their fish stink for want of water, and die for thirst.
3 Metsɔ viviti tsyɔ lilikpo ŋgɔ, eye mena akpanya zu edzitsyɔnu.”
I can clothe the heavens with blackness, and I can make sackcloth their garment.
4 Aƒetɔ Yehowa tsɔ nufiala ƒe aɖe nam be manya nya si matsɔ ado ŋusẽ ame si gbɔdzɔ lae. Enyɔam ŋdi sia ŋdi. Eʋua nye to be mase nu abe ame si wole nu fiam la ene.
The Lord Eternal hath given me a tongue for teaching, that I should know how to strengthen the weary with the word: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth my ear to listen like those who are well taught.
5 Aƒetɔ Yehowa, ʋu nye towo, eye nyemadze aglã o, nyemegbugbɔ yi megbe hã o.
The Lord Eternal hath opened me my ear, and I resisted not: I turned not backward.
6 Metrɔ nye dzime na ame siwo ƒom, metrɔ nye tome na ame siwo nyɔa ge nam la. Nyemeɣla nye mo ɖe fewuɖulawo kple ame siwo nyɔa ta ɖe mo nam o.
My back I gave up to the smiters, and my cheeks to those that plucked off the hair: my face I hid not from abuse and spitting.
7 Esi Aƒetɔ Yehowa, kpena ɖe ŋunye ta la, ŋu makpem o, eya ta mewɔ nye mo wòse abe hlihakpe ene, eye menya be ŋu makpem o.
But the Lord Eternal ever helpeth me; therefore was I not confounded; therefore have I rendered my face like a flint, and I knew that I should not be made ashamed.
8 Ame si ɖeam le nya me la tsɔ ɖe gbɔnye, eya ta ame kae ate ŋu atsɔ nya ɖe ŋunye? Nena míado go ŋkume kple ŋkume! Ame kae nye nunyetsola? Nekpe avu kplim!
He that justifieth me is near; who will contend with me? let us stand forward together: who hath a dispute with me? let him come near to me.
9 Aƒetɔ Yehowae kpe ɖe ŋunye. Ame ka ate ŋu abu fɔm? Wo katã woanyunyɔ abe avɔ ene eye agbagblaʋui aɖu wo.
Behold, the Lord Eternal will help me; who is the man that will condemn me? lo, they all shall wear out as a garment: the moth shall eat them up.
10 Ame kae le mia dome si vɔ̃a Yehowa, eye wòwɔa eƒe dɔla ƒe nya dzi? Na ame si le viviti me zɔm, akaɖi mele esi o la naka ɖe Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ dzi, eye wòaɖo ŋu ɖe eƒe Mawu la ŋuti.
Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that hearkeneth to the voice of his servant? though he have walked in darkness, and had no light: let him trust in the name of the Lord, and lean for support upon his God.
11 Ke azɔ mi ame siwo katã do dzo, eye miewɔ akakatiwo na mia ɖokuiwo la, miyi, eye miazɔ le miaƒe dzo siwo miedo kple akakati siwo miesi la ƒe keklẽ nu. Esiae nye nu si miaxɔ tso asinyeme: Miamlɔ anyi ɖe fuwɔame me.
Behold, all ye that kindle fire, that urge on the brands: walk by the blaze of your fire, and by the brands ye have kindled; from my hand hath this been bestowed on you; in pain shall ye lie down.
