< Yesaya 43 >
1 Ke azɔ la, ale Yehowa, ame si wɔ wò, O! Yakob, eye wòme wò, O! Israel, la gblɔe nye esi, “Mègavɔ̃ o, elabena meɖe wò. Metsɔ wò ŋkɔ yɔ wò be tɔnye nènye.
But now thus says Jehovah who created thee, O Jacob, and he who formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee. I have called thee by thy name, Thou are mine.
2 Ne èto tɔ me, mato eme kpli wò, ne èto tɔsisiwo me, mato wo me kpli wò be tɔsisi la malé wò o. Ne èto dzo me mame wò o, eye dzo ƒe aɖewo hã mafia wò o,
When thou pass through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When thou walk through the fire, thou shall not be burned, nor shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 elabena nye Yehowa, wò Mawu, Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ lae nye wò ɖela. Metsɔ Egipte ƒle tawò, eye Kus kple Seba axɔ ɖe tewòƒe.
For I am Jehovah thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior. I have given Egypt as thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in thy stead.
Since thou have been precious in my sight, and honorable, and I have loved thee, therefore I will give men in thy stead, and peoples instead of thy life.
5 Mègavɔ̃ o, elabena meli kpli wò, makplɔ viwòwo tso ɣedzeƒe, eye maƒo mia nu ƒu tso ɣetoɖoƒe.
Fear not, for I am with thee. I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west.
6 Magblɔ na anyiehe be, ‘Ɖe asi le wo ŋu.’ Na dziehe be, ‘Megasika wo o.’ Mikplɔ vinye ŋutsuwo tso didiƒe kple vinyenyɔnuwo tso anyigba ƒe mlɔenuwo ke vɛ,
I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Keep not back. Bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the end of the earth,
7 ame sia ame si ko ŋu woyɔ nye ŋkɔ ɖo, ame siwo mewɔ hena nye ŋutikɔkɔe, ame siwo meme, eye mewɔ.”
everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yea, whom I have made.
8 Mikplɔ ame siwo ŋku li na, gake womele nu kpɔm o la kple ame siwo to li na, gake womesea nu o la do goe.
Bring forth the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.
9 Dukɔwo katã kpe ta, eye amewo ƒo takpli. Wo dometɔ kae gblɔ esia da ɖi, eye wòɖe gbeƒã nu siwo dzɔ va yi la na mi? Womekplɔ woƒe ɖasefowo vɛ, ne woaɖee fia be woƒe nya dzɔ, ale be ame bubuwo asee agblɔ be, “Nyateƒee” o.
Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses that they may be justified, or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Yehowa be, “Miawoe nye nye ɖasefowo kple nye dɔla si metia be mianya, eye miaxɔ dzinye ase, ase egɔme be nyee. Mawu aɖeke medo ŋgɔ nam o, eye ɖeke hã mado ŋgɔ nam o.
Ye are my witnesses, says Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen, that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after me.
11 Nyee, ɛ̃, nyee. Nyee nye Yehowa. Ɖela aɖeke meli kpe ɖe ŋunye o.
I, even I, am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.
12 Nye la, meɖee fia. Meɖe eme, eye meɖe gbeƒã be nyee, ke menye dzromawu siwo le mia dome lae o. Miawoe nye nye ɖasefowo.”
I have declared, and I have saved, and I have shown, and there was no strange god among you. Therefore ye are my witnesses, says Jehovah, and I am God.
13 Yehowae gblɔe. “Mianyae be nyee nye Mawu. Ɛ̃, nye koe tso blema ke. Ame aɖeke mate ŋu axɔ ame le asinye o. Ne mewɔ nu la, ame kae ate ŋu atrɔe?”
Yea, since the day was I am he, and there is none that can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?
14 Ale Yehowa, wò Ɖela, Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la gblɔe nye esi, “Le tawò madɔ ame ɖo ɖe Babilonia woaɖakplɔ Babiloniatɔwo vɛ abe aʋasilawo ene, eye woalɔ wo ɖe woƒe tɔdziʋu siwo dzi wodana ɖo la me.
Thus says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring down all of them as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.
15 Nyee nye Yehowa, miaƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la, Israel Wɔla kple miaƒe Fia.”
I am Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.
16 Ale Yehowa, ame si ɖe mɔ to atsiaƒu me, ame si ɖe mɔ to tɔsisi gãwo me,
Thus says Jehovah, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,
17 ame si na tasiaɖamwo, sɔwo, aʋakɔwo, kple kalẽtɔwo ho aʋa, va tsi afi si womagafɔ le gbeɖe o. Ame si na wotsrɔ̃, eye wotsi abe akaɖimeɖovu ene la gblɔe nye esi:
who brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together; they shall not rise; they are extinct; they are quenched as a wick):
18 “Miŋlɔ blemanuwo be. Migaɖo ŋu ɖe gbe aɖe gbe nuwo ŋu o.
Do not remember ye the former things, nor consider the things of old.
19 Kpɔ ɖa, mele nu yeye wɔm! Edo mo ɖa xoxo, mèle ekpɔm oa? Mele mɔ tam ɖe gbedzi, eye mana tɔsisiwo nado ɖe kuɖiɖinyigba dzi.
Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20 Gbemelãwo, amegaxiwo kple golowo ade bubu ŋunye, elabena mena tsi do tso gbegbe, eye tɔsisiwo do ɖe kuɖiɖinyigba dzi be mana tsi nye amewo, nye ame tiatiawo,
The beasts of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21 ame siwo mewɔ na ɖokuinye be woaɖe gbeƒã nye kafukafu.
the people whom I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise.
22 “Ke wò, Yakob, mèyɔm o. O! Israel, mèkpe fu ɖe tanye o.
Yet thou have not called upon me, O Jacob, but thou have been weary of me, O Israel.
23 Mètsɔa wò alẽwo saa numevɔ nam loo alo tsɔa wò akpedavɔsa dea bubu ŋunye o. Nyemetsɔ nuɖuvɔsawo do agbae na wò o alo ɖe fu na wo be nàtsɔ dzudzɔʋeʋĩdonu vɛ nam o.
Thou have not brought me from thy sheep for burnt offerings, nor have thou honored me with thy sacrifices. I have not burdened thee with offerings, nor wearied thee with frankincense.
24 Mètsɔ atikeʋeʋĩ aɖeke vɛ nam alo tsɔa wò lãwo ƒe ami sãa vɔ̃e nam agbadree o, ke boŋ ètsɔ wò nu vɔ̃wo do agbae nam, eye nèɖe fu nam kple wo vodadawo.
Thou have bought me no sweet cane with money, nor have thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices. But thou have burdened me with thy sins. Thou have wearied me with thine iniquities.
25 “Nyee, ɛ̃, nyee atutu wò dzidadawo ɖa le nye ŋutɔ ɖokuinye ta, eye nyemagaɖo ŋku wò nu vɔ̃wo dzi o.
I, even I, am he who blots out thy transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember thy sins.
26 Ɖo ŋku tsãnuwo dzi nam. Na míahe nya sia kple mía nɔewo. Gblɔ ale si wò nya dzɔe.
Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Set thou forth thy case that thou may be justified.
27 Fofowò gbãtɔ wɔ nu vɔ̃. Wò nyanuɖelawo dze aglã ɖe ŋutinye,
Thy first father sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
28 eya ta mado ŋunyɔ ame ŋkuta siwo le wò gbedoxɔ me. Matsɔ Yakob ade asi na gbegblẽ, eye Israel na fewuɖuɖu.”
Therefore I will profane the rulers of the sanctuary, and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel a reviling.
