< Yesaya 33 >
Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
2 O! Yehowa, ve mía nu; míele diwòm vevie. Nye míaƒe ŋusẽ ŋdi sia ŋdi. Nye mía ɖela le xaxaɣeyiɣiwo me.
O Yhwh, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
3 Ne èɖe gbe la, amewo sina, ne ètso la, dukɔwo kakana hlẽna.
At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
4 O! Dukɔwo, woaƒo miaƒe nuhahawo nu ƒu abe ale si woƒoa ŋɔviwo nu ƒue ene, eye amewo adze wo dzi abe ale si ʋetsuviwo ƒe ha gã aɖe dzea nu dzi ene.
And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
5 Wodo Yehowa ɖe dzi, elabena etsɔ dziƒo wɔ nɔƒee. Atsɔ nu dzɔdzɔe wɔwɔ kple dzɔdzɔenyenye ayɔ Zion.
Yhwh is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
6 Anye gɔmeɖokpe sesẽ na míaƒe ɣeyiɣiwo. Anye nudzraɖoƒe gã na ɖeɖekpɔkpɔ, dziƒonunya kple sidzedze, eye Yehowavɔvɔ̃ anye safui na kesinɔnu sia.
And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of Yhwh is his treasure.
7 Kpɔ ɖa woƒe kalẽtɔwo le avi fam sesĩe le mɔtatawo dzi. Ŋutifafa ƒe ame dɔdɔwo fa avi vevie.
Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
8 Gbedzimɔwo ɖi gbɔlo, eye mɔzɔla aɖeke mele mɔtatawo dzi o. Nubabla la me gblẽ. Wodo ŋunyɔ eƒe ɖasefowo, eye womede bubu ame aɖeke ŋuti o.
The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
9 Anyigba la ƒu kplakplakpla, eye naneke megale edzi o. Ŋu kpe Lebanon, eye wòyrɔ sũu. Saron le abe Araba gbegbe ene. Basan kple Karmel lũ xɛ abe ati ene.
The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
10 Yehowa be, “Matso azɔ, woadom ɖe dzi, eye woakɔ nye alɔ ɖe dzi azɔ.
Now will I rise, saith Yhwh; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
11 Atsakiti nye fu nèfɔ, eye nèdzi gbe ƒuƒu. Wò gbɔgbɔ nye dzo si fia wò.
Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.
12 Woafiã abe akalo ene, eye woatɔ dzo wo abe ŋuve si wolã kɔ ɖi ene.”
And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
13 Mi ame siwo le adzɔge, mise nu si mewɔ. Mi ame siwo tso kpuiƒe, mide dzesi nye ŋusẽ!
Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
14 Ŋɔdzi lé nu vɔ̃ wɔla siwo le Zion, eye vɔvɔ̃ dze Mawumavɔ̃lawo dzi, wobia be, “Mía dometɔ kae anɔ te ɖe dzobinu la nu? Mía dometɔ kae anɔ anyi ɖe dzo mavɔ̃ sia me.”
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
15 Ame si zɔna le dzɔdzɔenyenye me, eye wògblɔa nu si le eteƒe, ame si tsri viɖe si wokpɔ to amebaba me, eye mexɔa zãnu o, ame si xe eƒe towo be magase hlɔ̃donyawo o, ame si mia eƒe ŋkuwo be makpɔ nu gbegblẽ wɔwɔ o.
He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16 Esiae nye ame si anɔ kɔkɔƒe, eye eƒe bebeƒe anye mɔ sesẽ si le towo tame. Akpɔ abolo aɖu ɖaa, eye tsinono mahiãe o.
He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
17 Wò ŋkuwo akpɔ fia la le eƒe atsyɔ̃ɖoɖo gã me, eye àkpɔ anyigba keke la le adzɔge.
Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
18 Àbu ŋɔdzinu siwo nèwɔ va yi le wò susu me be, “Afi ka amegã ma le? Afi ka ame si dzɔa adzɔga la le? Afi ka amegã si kpɔa gbetakpɔxɔwo dzi la le?”
Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
19 Màgakpɔ ɖokuiŋudzela mawo azɔ o, ame siwo fiana, eye woƒe nuƒo gɔme menyasena o.
Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
21 Afi mae Yehowa, le eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe me, anye míaƒe Ŋusẽtɔ le. Anɔ abe teƒe si tɔ gbadzawo kple tɔʋuwo le la ene. Tɔdziʋu siwo wokuna kple tablu la, made afi ma o eye meli gã aɖeke hã mato edzi ayi o,
But there the glorious Yhwh will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
22 elabena Yehowae nye míaƒe ʋɔnudrɔ̃la. Yehowae nye ame si wɔ sewo na mí, eye Yehowae nye míaƒe fia. Eyae nye ame si aɖe mí.
For Yhwh is our judge, Yhwh is our lawgiver, Yhwh is our king; he will save us.
23 Wò abaladokawo me gbɔdzɔ; womebla wò abaladotiawo sesĩe o; ale wò abalawo me meke o, eya ta woama afunyinu gbogboawo, eye tekunɔwo gɔ̃ hã atsɔ nuhahawo adzoe.
Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
24 Ame siwo le Zion la dometɔ aɖeke magblɔ be, “Mele dɔ lém” o, eye woatsɔ ame siwo le afi ma la ƒe nu vɔ̃wo ake wo.
And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
