< Yesaya 32 >
1 Kpɔ ɖa, fia aɖe aɖu fia le dzɔdzɔenyenye me, eye eƒe dumegãwo aɖu dzi le nuteƒewɔwɔ me.
Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with justice.
2 Ame ɖe sia ɖe anɔ abe bebeƒe le yaƒoƒo nu kple sitsoƒe le ahom me ene. Anɔ abe tɔsisiwo le gbegbe kple agakpe ƒe vɔvɔli le kuɖiɖinyigba dzi ene.
Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in a dry land, like the shadow of a great rock in an arid land.
3 Ekema ame siwo kpɔa nu la ƒe ŋkuwo maganye tre o, eye ame siwo ƒe to sea nu la ƒe towo anɔ ʋuʋu.
Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.
4 Ame mabutamewo ƒe susu anya nu, ase nu gɔme, eye ame siwo kukɔna la ƒe aɖe aƒo nu tẽe eme nakɔ.
The mind of the rash will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will speak clearly and fluently.
5 Womagayɔ bometsilawo be bubumewo, eye womagayɔ yakamewo be ame ŋkutawo o,
No longer will a fool be called noble, nor a scoundrel be respected.
6 elabena bometsila gblɔa bometsinya, eye eƒe susu yɔ fũu kple nu vɔ̃ɖi. Enɔa agbe le Mawu mavɔmavɔ me, eye wògblɔa nya tatrawo ɖe Yehowa ŋu, menaa nuɖuɖu dɔwuitɔwo o, eye wotea tsi tsikɔwuitɔwo.
For a fool speaks foolishness; his mind plots iniquity. He practices ungodliness and speaks falsely about the LORD; he leaves the hungry empty and deprives the thirsty of drink.
7 Yakamewo ƒe wɔnawo vɔ̃ɖi. Woɖoa nu vɔ̃ɖiwo be woatsrɔ̃ hiãtɔwo kple alakpa, ne hiãtɔwo ƒe nya dzɔ hã.
The weapons of the scoundrel are destructive; he hatches plots to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just.
8 Ke bubume wɔa ɖoɖo siwo ŋu bubu le la, eye bubunuwɔnawo nana wònɔa te.
But a noble man makes honorable plans; he stands up for worthy causes.
9 Mi nyɔnu siwo ɖe dzi ɖi bɔkɔɔ, mitso ne miaɖo tom. Mi vinyɔnuvi siwo le dziɖeɖi me. Miɖo to nya si magblɔ!
Stand up, you complacent women; listen to me. Give ear to my word, you overconfident daughters.
10 Le ƒe ɖeka kple edzivɔ siwo gbɔna me la, mi ame siwo ɖe dzi ɖi bɔkɔɔ la miaʋuʋu. Miaƒe wainkawo agbe tsetse, eye atikutsetse bubuwo hã matse na mi o.
In a little more than a year you will tremble, O secure ones. For the grape harvest will fail and the fruit harvest will not arrive.
11 Miʋuʋu, mi nyɔnu siwo ɖe dzi ɖi bɔkɔɔ; mixa nu, mi vinyɔnuvi siwo ɖe dzi ɖi! Miɖe miaƒe avɔwo da ɖi, eye miasa akpanya ɖe ali.
Shudder, you ladies of leisure; tremble, you daughters of complacency. Strip yourselves bare and put sackcloth around your waists.
12 Mifa konyi na miaƒe agble wɔnukuwo, na miaƒe wainkpo siwo tsena nyuie,
Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines,
13 eye na nye amewo ƒe anyigba, anyigba si dzi ŋu kple aŋɔkawo mie ɖo. Ɛ̃, mifa na aƒe siwo katã me dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ yia edzi le kple du sia, si me wotua aglo le
and for the land of my people, overgrown with thorns and briers— even for every house of merriment in this city of revelry.
14 Mɔ sesẽwo aɖi gbɔlo. Du si me hoowɔwɔ nɔ la, azu aƒedo. Xɔ tsralawo kple gbetakpɔxɔwo azu abe agado ene tegbetegbe anye dzidzɔ na tedziwo kple gbeɖuƒe na lãhawo
For the palace will be forsaken, the busy city abandoned. The hill and the watchtower will become caves forever— the delight of wild donkeys and a pasture for flocks—
15 va se ɖe esime woakɔ Gbɔgbɔ la ɖe mia dzi tso dziƒo, gbegbewo nagazu agbledeƒewo, eye agbledeƒewo nadze abe ave ene.
until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high. Then the desert will be an orchard, and the orchard will seem like a forest.
16 Nuteƒewɔwɔ anɔ gbegbe, eye dzɔdzɔenyenye anɔ agbledenyigba dzi.
Then justice will inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness will dwell in the fertile field.
17 Dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe ku anye ŋutifafa, eye dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe metsonu anye tomefafa kple dzideƒo tegbetegbe.
The work of righteousness will be peace; the service of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever.
18 Nye amewo anɔ teƒe siwo ŋutifafa le kple aƒe siwo me dedinɔnɔ le kple teƒe siwo tomefafa kple dziɖeɖi le.
Then my people will dwell in a peaceful place, in safe and secure places of rest.
19 Togbɔ be kpetsiwo tsrɔ̃ avewo, eye wogbã du la gudugudu hã la,
But hail will level the forest, and the city will sink to the depths.
20 woayra mi ne mieƒã nu ɖe tɔʋu ɖe sia ɖe to, eye miena miaƒe nyiwo kple tedziwo ɖu gbe le ablɔɖe me.
Blessed are those who sow beside abundant waters, who let the ox and donkey range freely.
