< Yesaya 16 >
1 Miɖo alẽviwo ɖe anyigbadziɖula la abe miaƒe adzɔnunana ene tso Sela to gbegbe la ahayi ɖe Zion ƒe vinyɔnu ƒe to la dzi.
Send ye the lambs for the ruler of the land from Sela [which is] toward the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
2 Abe ale si wonyaa xe dzodzoewo le woƒe atɔwo me ene la, nenema ke wòanɔ na Moab nyɔnuwo le Arnon ƒe tɔtsoƒewo.
For it shall be that, as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of Arnon.
3 “Ɖo aɖaŋu na mí, eye nàtso nya me na mí. Na wò vɔvɔli nazu abe zã ene le ŋudɔkutsu. Ɣla aʋasilawo, eye mègafia wo yomemɔ o.
Give counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday: hide the outcasts; bewray not the wanderer.
4 Na be Moab ƒe aʋasilawo nanɔ gbɔwò, eye nànye woƒe sitsoƒe tso nugblẽla ƒe asi me.” Ŋutasẽla ƒe ɣeyiɣi ava yi, eye gbegblẽ hã nu atso. Ameyometila hã abu ɖa keŋ le anyigba dzi.
Let mine outcasts dwell with thee; as for Moab, be thou a covert to him from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is brought to nought, spoiling ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
5 Woaɖo fiazikpui anyi le lɔlɔ̃ me. Ŋutsu aɖe si atso David ƒe aƒe me la, anɔ edzi le nuteƒewɔwɔ me. Ame sia adrɔ̃ ʋɔnu dzɔdzɔe, eye wòado dzɔdzɔenyenye ɖe ŋgɔ.
And a throne shall be established in mercy, and one shall sit thereon in truth, in the tent of David; judging, and seeking judgment, and swift to do righteousness.
6 Míese nu tso Moab ƒe dada, eƒe asitɔtɔ akɔ kple ɖokuidodoɖedzi, eƒe dada kple eƒe amemabumabu ŋu, gake eƒe adegbeƒoƒowo katã nye dzodzro,
We have heard of the pride of Moab, [that] he is very proud; even of his arrogancy, and his pride, and his wrath; his boastings are nought.
7 eya ta Moabtɔwo afa avi, woafa avi ɖe Moab ŋu. Mixa nu, miafa konyi ɖe waintsetsebolo ta na Kir Hareset,
Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the raisin-cakes of Kir-hareseth shall ye mourn, utterly stricken.
For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah; the lords of the nations have broken down the choice plants thereof; they reached even unto Jazer, they wandered into the wilderness; her branches were spread abroad, they passed over the sea.
9 Eya ta mafa avi abe Yazer ɖe Sibma ƒe wainkawo ŋu ene. O! Hesbon, O! Eleale. Mefa mi vevie! Elabena dzidzɔɣli si ɖina le miaƒe kutsetsegbeɣi kple nuŋeŋe me la zi ɖoɖoe.
Therefore I will weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for upon thy summer fruits and upon thy harvest the [battle] shout is fallen.
And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the fruitful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither joyful noise: no treader shall tread out wine in the presses; I have made the [vintage] shout to cease.
11 Nye dzi le konyi fam le menye ɖe Moab ŋu abe ale si woƒoa kasaŋku ene, eye vevesese tso Kir Hareset ŋu.
Wherefore my bowels sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-heres.
12 Ne eva eme be Moab do ɖe eƒe nuxeƒe la, dagbadagba ƒuƒlu koe. Ne eyi eƒe gbedoɖaƒe be yeado gbe ɖa la, mate ŋui o.
And it shall come to pass, when Moab presenteth himself, when he wearieth himself upon the high place, and shall come to his sanctuary to pray, that he shall not prevail.
13 Esia nye nya si Yehowa gblɔ ɖi xoxo tso Moab ŋu.
This is the word that the LORD spake concerning Moab in time past.
14 Yehowa be, “Le ƒe etɔ̃ me tututu abe ale si agbatedɔwɔla xlẽa eƒe ƒee ene la, maɖi gbɔ̃ Moab ƒe atsyɔ̃ kple ame gbogboawo, ame siwo asusɔ la, woanɔ ʋɛe, eye womanɔ nemi me hã o.”
But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be brought into contempt, with all his great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and of no account.
