< Hebritɔwo 1 >

1 Le blema la Mawu ƒo nu na mia fofowo zi geɖe to mɔ vovovowo dzi to Nyagblɔɖilawo dzi.
Long ago God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in many ways.
2 Ke le ŋkeke mamlɛtɔ siawo me la, eƒo nu na mí to Via si wòtia be wòanye nuwo katã ƒe domenyila la dzi, ame si dzi hã wòto wɔ xexea me. (aiōn g165)
But in these last days, he has spoken to us through a Son, whom he appointed to be the heir of all things. It is through him that God also made the universe. (aiōn g165)
3 Vi la klẽna kple Mawu ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe. Enye ame si ɖe Mawu ƒe nɔnɔme tututu fia, eye wòna agbe nuwo katã to eƒe ŋusẽnya la me. Esi wòklɔ nu vɔ̃wo ɖa vɔ la, enɔ anyi ɖe Mawu ƒe nuɖusime le dziƒo.
He is the brightness of God's glory, the exact representation of his being. He even holds everything together by the word of his power. After he had made cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
4 Ale wòkɔ sãa wu mawudɔlawo abe ale si ŋkɔ si wòtsɔ nyi domee la kɔ wu wo tɔ sãa ene.
He has become just as superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than their name.
5 Elabena mawudɔlawo dometɔ kae Mawu gblɔ na kpɔ be, “Wòe nye vinye; egbe mezu Fofowò”? Alo wògagblɔ na ɖe be, “Manye fofoa, eye eya hã anye Vinye”?
For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my son, today I have become your father”? Or to which of the angels did God ever say, “I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me”?
6 Eye esi Mawu dɔ via ŋgɔgbea ɖe xexea me la, egblɔ be, “Ele be mawudɔlawo katã nasubɔe.”
But again, when God brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “All God's angels must worship him.”
7 Mawu ƒo nu tso eƒe dɔlawo ŋuti be, “Ewɔ eƒe dɔlawo abe yaƒoƒowo ene, eye eƒe subɔlawo abe dzo ƒe aɖewo ene.”
About the angels he says, “He is the one who makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.”
8 Ke egblɔ le via ya ŋuti be, “O, Mawu, wò fiazikpui anɔ anyi tegbetegbe, eye dzɔdzɔnyenye anye wò fiaɖuƒe ƒe tsiamiti. (aiōn g165)
But to the Son he says, “Your throne, God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is the scepter of justice. (aiōn g165)
9 Èlɔ̃ dzɔdzɔenyenye, eye nèlé fu ŋutasesẽ, eya ta Mawu, wò Mawu la tsɔ wò ɖo teƒe kɔkɔ wu nɔviwòwo katã to esia me be etsɔ dzidzɔ ƒe ami la si na wò.”
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy more than your companions.”
10 Egagblɔ be, “O Aƒetɔ, le gɔmedzedzea me la eɖo xexea me ƒe gɔmeɖokpe anyi, eye dziƒowo hã nye wò asinudɔwɔwɔ.
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the earth's foundation. The heavens are the work of your hands.
11 Woatsrɔ̃, gake wò la, ànɔ anyi, wo katã woanyunyɔ abe awu ene.
They will perish, but you will continue. They will all wear out like a piece of clothing.
12 Àŋlɔ wo abe awu ʋlaya ene, eye àɖe wo ɖi abe awu si wodo la ene, ke wò ya la, ànɔ nenema, màtrɔ o, eye wò ƒewo hã mawu enu akpɔ gbeɖe o.”
You will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed like a piece of clothing. But you are the same, and your years do not end.”
13 Mawudɔla kae Mawu gblɔ na kpɔ be, “Bɔbɔ nɔ anyi ɖe nye nuɖusime va se ɖe esime mawɔ wò futɔwo woazu afɔɖodzinu na wò”?
But to which of the angels has God said at any time, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a stool for your feet”?
14 Ekema nu kawoe mawudɔlawo nye? Wo katã nye gbɔgbɔ siwo subɔa Mawu, eye Mawu dɔa wo be woakpe ɖe ame siwo anyi ɖeɖekpɔkpɔ ƒe dome la ŋuti.
Are not all angels spirits who serve, and who are sent to care for those who will inherit salvation?
