< Hebritɔwo 10 >
1 Se la nye nu nyui siwo gbɔna la ƒe vɔvɔli ko, eye menye nua ŋutɔwo o. Le susu sia ta la, vɔsa siwo wowɔna agbadree ƒe sia ƒe la mate ŋu awɔ ame siwo va subɔnɛ la blibo gbeɖe o.
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, [and] not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 Ke vɔsa mawo ɖoa ŋku nu vɔ̃ dzi na ameawo ƒe sia ƒe,
But in those [sacrifices there is] a remembrance again [made] of sins every year.
4 elabena mele bɔbɔe be nyitsuwo kple gbɔ̃wo ƒe ʋu naɖe nu vɔ̃ ɖa o.
For [it is] not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Eya ta esi Kristo va xexea me la, egblɔ be: “Mèdi vɔsa kple numemewo o, ke boŋ ŋutilã si nèdzra ɖo ɖi nam;
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 eye numevɔsa kple nu vɔ̃ vɔsawo hã medzea ŋuwò o.
In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Tete megblɔ be, ‘Nyee nye esi, woŋlɔ nu tso ŋutinye le lãgbalẽ me be, o Mawu, meva be mawɔ wò lɔlɔ̃nu.’”
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me, ) to do thy will, O God.
Togbɔ be se la bia be woawɔ wo hã.
Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and [offering] for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure [therein]; which are offered by the law;
9 Tete wògblɔ be, “Nyee nye esi, meva be mawɔ wò lɔlɔ̃nu.” Ale wòɖe se gbãtɔ la ɖa be wòaɖo evelia anyi.
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 Eye to Mawu ƒe lɔlɔ̃nuwɔwɔ me wowɔ mí kɔkɔe to Yesu Kristo ƒe ŋutilã si wòtsɔ sa vɔe hena ɣeyiɣiwo katã la me.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all].
11 Nunɔla la wɔa eƒe vɔsasadɔwo gbe sia gbe, eye nenema ke wòwɔ vɔsa mawo ke edziedzi, vɔsa siwo mate ŋu aɖe nu vɔ̃ ɖa akpɔ gbeɖe o.
And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 Ke esi nunɔla sia ya sa vɔ ɖe nu vɔ̃wo ta zi ɖeka hena ɣeyiɣiawo katã la eyi ɖanɔ Mawu ƒe nuɖusime.
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 Tso ɣe ma ɣi la, ele lalam be woatsɔ eƒe futɔwo awɔ eƒe afɔɖodzinui.
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 Elabena to vɔsa ɖeka si wòwɔ me la, ewɔ ame siwo ŋuti kɔm wòle la blibo tegbetegbe le Mawu ƒe ŋkume.
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe hã ɖi ɖase tso esia ŋuti; gbã la egblɔ be,
[Whereof] the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
Matsɔ nye sewo ade woƒe dziwo me, eye maŋlɔ wo ɖe woƒe susuwo me.”
This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 Egagblɔ kpe ɖe eŋu be, “Nyemagaɖo ŋku woƒe nu vɔ̃wo kple nu vɔ̃ɖi wɔwɔwo dzi azɔ o.”
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Eye afi si wotsɔ nu siawo ke le la, vɔsasa ɖe nu vɔ̃ ta megahiã o.
Now where remission of these [is, there is] no more offering for sin.
19 Eya ta nɔvi lɔlɔ̃wo, esime kakaɖedzi le mía si be miage ɖe Kɔkɔeƒe ƒe Kɔkɔeƒe la to Yesu ƒe ʋu me ŋuti la,
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 eʋu mɔ yeye kple mɔ gbagbe na mí to xɔmetsovɔ si nye eƒe ŋutilã la me.
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 Eye esi nunɔlagã le mía si le Mawu ƒe aƒe nu ta la,
And [having] an high priest over the house of God;
22 mina míate ɖe Mawu ŋu le dzi vavã me kple xɔse ƒe kakaɖedzi blibo la me kple dzi siwo ŋu wohlẽ ʋu ɖo be wòaklɔ mía ŋuti tso dzitsinya vɔ̃ɖiwo me, eye wòale tsi na míaƒe ŋutilãwo kple tsi zɔzrɔ̃e.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Mina míalé mɔkpɔkpɔ si me míeʋu la me ɖe asi maʋamaʋãe, elabena ame si do ŋugbea la nye nuteƒewɔla.
Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised; )
24 Eye mina míabu ale si míado ŋusẽ mía nɔewo la ŋuti be woayi dzi le lɔlɔ̃ kple dɔ nyui wɔwɔ me.
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Migana míagbɔdzɔ le míaƒe takpeƒewo dede me o, abe ale si ame aɖewo tsɔe ɖo dɔe nɔa kuvia wɔm ene o, ke boŋ mina míade dzi ƒo na mía nɔewo, vevietɔ esi mienyae be eƒe ŋkeke la te tu aƒe kpokploe.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 Ne míebua le nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ dzi, esi míenya nyateƒe la vɔ megbe la, vɔsasa ɖe nu vɔ̃wo ta aɖeke megali o,
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 ke nu si ko míanɔ mɔ kpɔm na le ŋɔdzi gã aɖe me lae nye ʋɔnudɔdrɔ̃ kple dzo bibi si ava fia Mawu ƒe futɔwo.
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Tohehe gã kae miesusu be mehedze na ame si titi afɔ ɖe Mawu ƒe Vi la dzi oa? Ame si do ŋunyɔ nubabla la ƒe ʋu si klɔ eŋuti la abe nu makɔmakɔ wònye ene, eye wòdzu amenuveve ƒe Gbɔgbɔ la?
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 Elabena míenya ame si gblɔ be, “Hlɔ̃biabia la tɔnyee, maɖo eteƒe nɛ,” egagblɔ hã be, “Aƒetɔ la adrɔ̃ ʋɔnu eƒe dukɔ la.”
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 Enye ŋɔdzinu be ame aɖe nage ɖe Mawu gbagbe la ƒe asi me.
[It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 Miɖo ŋku ŋkeke siwo do ŋgɔ la dzi esi miexɔ kekeli la vɔ la, mienɔ te sesĩe to ʋiʋli geɖewo me, mieto fukpekpe hã me kalẽtɔe.
But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
33 Ɣe aɖewo ɣi la wodzua mi le dutoƒo, eye wotia mia yome, ɣe bubu ɣiwo la, mienɔ te kpe ɖe ame siwo nɔ xaxa mawo ke me la ŋuti.
Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
35 Eya ta dzi megaɖe le mia ƒo o, elabena miaƒe dzideƒo ahe fetu geɖe vɛ na mi.
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 Ele be miado vevie, ale be ne miewɔ Mawu ƒe lɔlɔ̃nu la, miaxɔ nu si ƒe ŋugbe wòdo la.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 Elabena le ɣeyiɣi kpui aɖe megbe la, “Ame si gbɔna la ava ɖo, eye matsi megbe o.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 Ke nye dzɔdzɔetɔ la anɔ agbe to xɔse me.
Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 Ke míawo ya míele abe ame siwo de megbe, eye wotsrɔ̃ la ene o, ke boŋ míenye ame siwo xɔe se, eye míekpɔ ɖeɖe.
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
