1 Manɔ nye gbetakpɔƒe tame, eye matsi tsitre ɖe nye xɔta; mada ŋku ɖi akpɔ nu si wòagblɔ atsɔ aɖo nye biabia ŋui.
On my kepyng Y schal stonde, and schal pitche a grees on wardyng; and Y schal biholde, that Y se what thing schal be seid to me, and what Y schal answere to hym that repreuith me.
2 Yehowa ɖo eŋu nam be: “Ŋlɔ ɖeɖefia la da ɖi. Ŋlɔe ɖe nuŋlɔkpe dzi eme nakɔ ale be woate ŋu axlẽe bɔbɔe.
And the Lord answeride to me, and seide, Write thou the reuelacioun, and make it pleyn on tablis, that he renne, that schal rede it.
3 Elabena azãgbe li na ɖeɖefia la elabena eƒo nu tso nuwuwu si le vava ge la ŋuti eye mada le edzi o; ke ne ehe ɖe megbe hã la, lalae elabena ava eme godoo, mada le edzi o.
For yit the visioun is fer, and it schal appere in to ende, and schal not lie; if it schal make dwellyng, abide thou it, for it comynge schal come, and schal not tarie.
4 “Nye kɔ nàkpɔ dadala la ɖa; nu dzɔdzɔe wɔwɔ aɖeke mele eya amea me o; ke ame dzɔdzɔe anɔ agbe to eƒe xɔse me.
Lo! the soule of hym, that is vnbileueful, schal not be riytful in hym silf; forsothe the iust man schal lyue in his feith.
5 Gawu la, wain ɖe hae, edoa eɖokui ɖe dzi eye medzea kɔ anyi o. Elabena ele abe yɔdo si nu meɖia kɔ na o ene eye wògale abe ku si nu meɖia ƒo na o ene. Eƒo dukɔwo katã nu ƒu na eɖokui eye wòdo kluvi amewo katã. (Sheol )
And as wyn disseyueth a man drynkynge, so schal the proude man be, and he schal not be maad feir; for as helle he alargide his soule, and he is as deth, and he is not fillid; and he schal gadere to hym alle folkis, and he shal kepe togidere to hym alle puplis. (Sheol )
6 “Ɖe amewo katã maɖia wo nu, aɖe alɔme le wo ŋu, ako wo ahagblɔ be: “‘Baba na ame si li kɔ nu siwo wofi ɖi eye wòwɔ eɖokui kesinɔtɔe to amebaba me. Ɣe ka ɣie nu siawo ayi edzi ase ɖo?’
Whether not alle these puplis schulen take a parable on hym, and the speking of derk sentencis of hym? And it schal be seid, Wo to hym that multiplieth thingis not his owne; hou longe, and he aggreggith ayens hym silf thicke clei?
7 Ɖe wò fetɔwo matso ɖe ŋuwò kpata, ɖe womanyɔ ado ŋɔdzi na wò oa? Ekema àva zu woƒe nuhaha.
Whether not sudeynli thei schulen rise to gidere, that schulen bite thee? And thei schulen be reisid to-teerynge thee, and thou schalt be in to raueyn to hem; and thin aspieris in yuel schulen wake.
8 Esi mieha dukɔ geɖewo ta la ame siwo susɔ la aha miawo hã elabena miekɔ ʋu ɖi eye mietstrɔ̃ anyigbawo, duwo kple ame siwo le wo me.
For thou robbidist many folkis, alle schulen robbe thee, whiche schulen be left of puplis, for blood of man, and for wickidnesse of lond of the citee, and of alle men dwellynge in it.
9 “Baba na ame si tu sã to amebaba me, ne yeawɔ nɔƒe ɖe dziƒo ke be yeasi le gbegblẽ nu.
Wo to hym that gaderith yuel coueitise to his hous, that his nest be in hiy, and gessith hym for to be delyuered of the hond of yuel.
10 Ame geɖewo ƒe tsɔtsrɔ̃ tso mia gbɔ eya ta miedo ŋukpe miawo ŋutɔ ƒe aƒe, miebu miawo ŋutɔ ƒe agbe.
Thou thouytist confusioun to thin hous; thou hast slayn many puplis, and thi soule synnede.
11 Kpe siwo wotsɔ tu miaƒe xɔwoe gɔ̃ hã ado ɣli ɖe mia ta eye ati siwo wotsɔ wɔ dzisasãwo la hã aɖe gbeƒã nya siwo kpeawo gblɔ.
For a stoon of the wal schal crie, and a tree that is bitwixe ioynturis of bildyngis schal answere.
12 “Baba na mi, mi ame siwo wu amewo eye miexɔ ga le amewo si tsɔ tso hlɔ̃dodui.
Wo to hym that bildith a citee in bloodis, and makith redi a citee in wickidnesse.
13 Ɖe Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la meɖoe be amewo ƒe agbagbadzedzewo katã nabi le dzo me eye dukɔwo naka hiã wo ɖokui dzodzro oa?
Whether not these thingis ben of the Lord of oostis? For puplis schulen trauele in myche fier, and folkis in veyn, and thei schulen faile.
14 Ke anyigba dzi ayɔ fũu kple sidzedze Yehowa ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe abe ale si tsi yɔ atsiaƒu mee ene.
For the erthe schal be fillid, that it knowe the glorie of the Lord, as watris hilynge the see.
15 “Baba na ame si na aha ehavi wòno eye wòku wain na ehavi wòno va se ɖe esime wòmu be yeakpɔ eƒe amame.
Wo to hym that yyueth drynk to his frend, and sendith his galle, and makith drunkun, that he biholde his nakidnesse.
16 Azɔ eɖo wò hã dziwò. Noe nàɖe amama eye ŋukpe nava dziwò le ŋutikɔkɔeteƒe. Kplu si Yehowa lé ɖe eƒe nuɖusime la gbɔna gbɔwò eye ŋukpe atsyɔ wò ŋutikɔkɔe dzi.
He is fillid with yuel fame for glorie; and thou drynke, and be aslept; the cuppe of the riythalf of the Lord schal cumpasse thee, and `castynge vp of yuel fame on thi glorie.
17 Nu vlo si nèwɔ Lebanon la ava ƒo ɖe wò hã dziwò. Lã siwo katã nètsrɔ̃ la ado ŋɔdzi na wò elabena èkɔ ʋu ɖi eye nètsrɔ̃ anyigba kple duwo kple wo me nɔlawo katã.
For the wickidnesse of Liban schal kyuere thee, and distruccioun of beestis schal make hem aferd, of bloodis of man, and of wickidnesse of lond, and of the citee, and of alle men dwellynge ther ynne.
18 “Viɖe kae le legba si ame li la ŋuti alo aklamakpakpɛ si daa alakpa la ŋuti? Ame si wɔe la tsɔ eƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe nu si eya ŋutɔ wɔ la dzi elabena ewɔ legba siwo mate ŋu aƒo nu o.
What profitith the `grauun ymage, for his makere grauyde it, a wellid thing togidere and fals ymage? for the makere therof hopide in makyng, that he made doumbe symylacris.
19 Baba na ame si gblɔ na atikpakpɛ be, ‘Gbɔ agbe!’ Alo na kpe si me agbe mele o be, ‘Nyɔ!’ Ɖe wòate ŋu afia mɔ amea? Wotsɔ sika kple klosalo ɖo atsyɔ̃ nɛ gake agbegbɔgbɔ mele eme o.”
Wo to hym that seith to a tre, Wake thou; Rise thou, to a stoon beynge stille; whether he schal mow teche? Lo! this is kyuerid with gold and siluer, and no spirit is in his entrails.
20 Ke Yehowa le eƒe gbedoxɔ kɔkɔe la me, xexea me katã nazi ɖoɖoe le eŋkume.
Forsothe the Lord is in his hooli temple, al erthe be stille fro his face.
