1 Le nya siawo megbe la, wova gblɔ na Yosef be fofoa ƒe lãmegbegblẽ la nu nɔ sesẽm ɖe edzi kokoko. Ale wòkplɔ Via ŋutsuvi eveawo, Manase kple Efraim, eye woyi ɖakpɔe ɖa.
And so whanne these thingis weren don, it was teld to Joseph, that his fadir was sijk. And he took hise twei sones, Manasses and Effraym, and he disposide to go.
2 Eye wogblɔ na Yakob bena, “Kpɔ ɖa viwò Yosef va gbɔwò.” Tete Israel do ŋusẽ nu fɔ henɔ anyi ɖe abatia dzi be yeado gbe nɛ,
And it was seid to the elde man, Lo! thi sone Joseph cometh to thee; which was coumfortid, and sat in the bed.
3 eye wògblɔ na Yosef be, “Mawu Ŋusẽkatãtɔ ɖe eɖokui fiam le Luz, le Kanaanyigba dzi, eye wòyram.
And whanne Joseph entride to hym, he seide, Almyyti God apperide to me in Luza, which is in the lond of Canaan, and blesside me,
4 Egblɔ nam be, ‘Mawɔ wò nàzu dukɔ gã, eye matsɔ Kanaanyigba sia ana wò kple wò dzidzimeviwo, wòanye mia tɔ tegbetegbe.’
and seide, Y schal encreesse and multiplie thee, and Y schal make thee in to cumpanyes of puplis, and Y schal yyue to thee this lond, and to thi seed aftir thee, in to euerlastinge possessioun.
5 Azɔ le viwò eve siawo, Efraim kple Manase, ame siwo wodzi le Egiptenyigba dzi hafi meva la, mele woawo ya xɔm abe nye ŋutɔ vinyewo ene, eye woanyi nye dome abe Ruben kple Simeon ke ene.
Therfor thi twei sones, that ben borun to thee in the lond of Egipt bifore that Y cam hidir to thee, schulen be myne, Effraym and Manasses as Ruben and Symeon schulen be arettid to me;
6 Ke viwò bubu ɖe sia ɖe ya la, anye wò ŋutɔ tɔ, eye woanyi Efraim kple Manase ƒe dome tso gbɔwò le wò ŋutɔ wò nuwo gome.
forsothe the othere whiche thou schalt gendre aftir hem schulen be thine; and thei schulen be clepid bi the name of her britheren in her possessiouns.
7 Elabena dawò Rahel dzi vi eve ko, eye wòku esi metso Padan gbɔna Kanaan. Ke esi míegogo Efrat la, meɖii ɖe mɔ to le Efrat” (si nye Betlehem).
Forsothe whanne Y cam fro Mesopotamye, Rachel was deed to me in the lond of Canaan, in thilke weie; and it was the bigynnyng of somer; and Y entride in to Effrata, and beriede hir bisidis the weie of Effrata, which bi anothir name is clepid Bethleem.
8 Israel lé ŋku ɖe Yosef ƒe ŋutsuviawo ŋu, eye wòbia be, “Ŋutsuviawoe nye esiawoa?”
Forsothe Jacob seiy the sones of Joseph, and seide to him, Who ben these?
9 Yosef ɖo eŋu be, “Ɛ̃, esiawoe nye ŋutsuvi siwo Mawu nam le afii le Egipte.” Israel gblɔ be, “Kplɔ wo te ɖe ŋunye ne mayra wo.”
He answeride, Thei ben my sones, whiche God yaf to me in this place. Jacob seide, Brynge hem to me that Y blesse hem.
10 Israel ƒe tsitsi na eƒe ŋkuwo tsi afã kple afã, eye megatea ŋu kpɔa nu tututu o. Ale Yosef kplɔ viawo te ɖe eŋu kpokploe. Egbugbɔ nu na wo, eye wòkpla asi kɔ na wo.
For `the iyen of Israel, dasewiden for greet eelde, and he myyte not se clereli; and he kisside and collide tho children ioyned to hym, and seide to his sone,
11 Israel gblɔ na Yosef be, “Nyemebu tsã be magakpɔ wò o, ke azɔ Mawu na mekpɔ viwòwo hã.”
Y am not defraudid of thi siyt; ferthermore God schewide to me thi seed.
12 Tete Yosef ɖe wo ɖa le Israel ƒe atata, eye wòde ta agu, tsyɔ mo anyi.
And whanne Joseph hadde take hem fro `the fadris lappe, he worschipide lowe to erthe.
13 Eye Yosef tsɔ wo ame eveawo; Efraim yi ɖe ɖusime be wòanɔ Israel ƒe miame, eye Manase yi ɖe miame be wòanɔ Israel ƒe ɖusime, eye wòkplɔ wo te ɖe Israel ŋu.
And he sette Effraym on his riyt side, that is, on the lift side of Israel; forsothe he settide Manasses in his lift side, that is, on the riyt side of the fadir; and he ioynede bothe to hym.
14 Ke Israel tso ga eƒe abɔwo esime wòdi be yeada yeƒe asiwo ɖe ɖeviawo ƒe tawo dzi. Ale eƒe ɖusi nɔ Efraim, ame si nye ɖevitɔ, eye wònɔ eƒe miame la ƒe ta dzi, eye eƒe miasi nɔ Manase, ame si nye tsitsitɔ, eye wònɔ eƒe ɖusime la ƒe ta dzi.
Which helde forth the riyt hond, and settide on `the heed of Effraym, the lesse brothir; sotheli he settide the left hond on `the heed of Manasses, that was the more thury birthe. Jacob chaungide `the hondes,
15 Eyra Yosef kple nya siawo be, “Mawu, fofonye Abraham kple Isak ƒe Mawu, ame si kplɔm le nye agbenɔɣi katã me la nayra ŋutsuvi siawo nukutɔe.
and blesside his sone Joseph, and seide, God, in whos siyt my fadris Abraham and Isaac yeden; God, that fedith me fro my yong wexynge age til in to present day;
16 Mawudɔla si ɖem tso xaxa ɖe sia ɖe me la nayra ɖevi siawo, woade bubu nye ŋkɔ ŋu, eye woade bubu fofonye Abraham kple Isak ƒe ŋkɔwo ŋu. Mawu naɖi ne woazu dukɔ gã aɖe.”
the aungel that delyuerede me fro alle yuelis, blesse thes children, and my name be clepid on hem, and the names of my fadris Abraham and Ysaac; and wexe thei in multitude on erthe.
17 Ke Yosef tɔtɔ, eye mekpɔ ŋudzedze le ale si fofoa da eƒe nuɖusi ɖe Efraim ƒe ta dzi la ŋu o. Ale wòɖe fofoa ƒe nuɖusi ɖa be yeadae ɖe Manase boŋ tɔ dzi.
Forsothe Joseph seiy that his fadir hadde set the riyt hond on the heed of Effraym, and took heuyli, and he enforside to reise the fadris hond takun fro the heed of Effraym, and to bere `ouer on `the heed of Manasses.
18 Egblɔ be, “Ao, fofonye, ètsɔ wò nuɖusi da ɖe ame si ƒe ta dzi mele be nàdae ɖo o la! Ame si le afi sia lae nye tsitsitɔ. Da wò nuɖusi ɖe eya boŋ dzi!”
And he seide to the fadir, Fadir, it acordith not so; for this is the firste gendrid; sette thi riyt hond on the heed `of hym.
19 Ke fofoa gbe hegblɔ nɛ be, “Vinye, menya nu si wɔm mele. Manase hã azu dukɔ gã aɖe, ke nɔvia suetɔ azu dukɔ gã wu.”
Which forsook and seide, Y woot, my sone, Y woot; and sotheli this child schal be in to puplis, and he schal be multiplied; but his yonger brother schal be more than he, and `his seed schal encreesse in to folkis.
20 Ale Yakob yra ɖeviawo gbe ma gbe ale: “Israelviwo nayra wo nɔewo agblɔ be, ‘Mawu nana nuwo nadze edzi na wò abe Efraim kple Manase ene!’” Ale wòtsɔ Efraim ɖo tsitsi na Manase.
And he blesside hem in that tyme, and seide, Israel schal be blessid in thee, Joseph, and it schal be seid, God do to thee as to Effraym and as to Manasses. And he settide Effraym bifore Manasses;
21 Israel gblɔ na Yosef be, “Mele kuku ge kpuie, ke Mawu anɔ kpli wò, eye wòagakplɔ wò ayi Kanaan, fofowòwo ƒe anyigba dzi.
and seide to Joseph, his sone, Lo! Y die, and God schal be with you, and schal lede you ayen to the lond of youre fadris;
22 Metsɔ Sekemnyigba si metsɔ nye yi kple dati xɔ le Amoritɔwo si la na wò ɖe nɔviwòwo teƒe be wòanye wò gome.”
Y yyue to thee o part ouer thi britheren which Y took fro the hand of Amorei, in my swerd and bowe.
