< Hezekiel 32 >
1 Le ƒe wuievelia ƒe ɣleti wuievelia ƒe ŋkeke gbãtɔ gbe la, Yehowa ƒe gbe va nam be,
In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 “Ame vi, kpa konyifaha aɖe tso Farao, Egipte fia ŋu, eye nàgblɔ nɛ be, ‘Èle abe dzata ene le dukɔwo dome, èle abe lã dziŋɔ aɖe ene le atsiaƒuwo me. Èle tsi ƒum le wò tɔsisiwo me, “‘Èle tsi la trom kple wò afɔwo, Eye nèna ba ge ɖe tsiawo me.
“Son of man, take up a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him: ‘You are like a lion among the nations; you are like a monster in the seas. You thrash about in your rivers, churning up the waters with your feet and muddying the streams.’
3 “‘Aleae Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye esi, “‘Ameha gã aɖe akpe ɖe ŋunye, Mada nye ɖɔ ɖe dziwò, Eye woahe wò ava gota le nye ɖɔ me.
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will spread My net over you with a company of many peoples, and they will draw you up in My net.
4 Matsɔ wò aƒu gbe ɖe anyigba dzi, Eye mada wò ɖe gbedzi, Mana dziƒoxeviwo katã nadze ɖe dziwò, Eye anyigbadzilã wɔadãwo katã Nanya avuzi le dziwò.
I will abandon you on the land and hurl you into the open field. I will cause all the birds of the air to settle upon you, and all the beasts of the earth to eat their fill of you.
5 Makaka wò ŋutilã ɖe toawo dzi, Eye mana balimewo nayɔ fũu kple wò kukua.
I will put your flesh on the mountains and fill the valleys with your remains.
6 Mana wò ʋu natsa le anyigba la dzi, Ayi keke toawo te ke, Eye balimewo ayɔ fũu kple wò ŋutilã.
I will drench the land with the flow of your blood, all the way to the mountains— the ravines will be filled.
Matsɔ lilikpo atsyɔ ɣe ŋkume, Eye ɣleti magana kekeli o.
When I extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars. I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light.
8 Dziƒokaɖi keklẽwo katã, Mana woado viviti ɖe dziwò. Mahe viviti ava wò anyigba dzi, Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.
All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you, and I will bring darkness upon your land,’
9 Maɖe fu na dukɔ geɖewo ƒe dzi, Ne mehe wò tsɔtsrɔ̃ vɛ, Le dukɔwo dome. Le anyigba siwo mènya o la dzi.
‘I will trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring about your destruction among the nations, in countries you do not know.
I will cause many peoples to be appalled over you, and their kings will shudder in horror because of you when I brandish My sword before them. On the day of your downfall each of them will tremble every moment for his life.’
11 “‘Elabena aleae Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔ, “‘Babilonia fia ƒe yi Ado ɖe ŋuwò.
For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you!
12 Mana wò amewo natsi ame sesẽwo, Ame siwo sẽa ŋuta wu Le dukɔwo katã dome la ƒe yinu. Woatsi Egipte ƒe dada nu, Eye woaɖu eƒe ame gbogboawo dzi.
I will make your hordes fall by the swords of the mighty, the most ruthless of all nations. They will ravage the pride of Egypt and all her multitudes will be destroyed.
13 Matsrɔ̃ eƒe nyiwo katã Tso tsi gãwo to, Tsi gã siwo ame ƒe afɔ magablu o, Eye nyiwo ƒe afɔwo magablu ba ɖe wo me o.

14 Ekema mana eƒe tsiwo nadze anyi, Eye mana woatsa abe ami ene.’ Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.
Then I will let her waters settle and will make her rivers flow like oil,’
15 “Ne mena Egipte zu gbegbe, Meɖe nu sia nu si le edzi ɖa, Eye meƒo ame siwo katã le edzi ƒu anyi la, Ekema woanya be, nyee nye Aƒetɔ Yehowa.
‘When I make the land of Egypt a desolation and empty it of all that filled it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the LORD.’
16 “Esiae nye konyifaha si woadzi nɛ. Dukɔawo ƒe vinyɔnuviwo adzii nɛ. Woadzii na Egipte kple eƒe amewo. Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.”
This is the lament they will chant for her; the daughters of the nations will chant it. Over Egypt and all her multitudes they will chant it, declares the Lord GOD.”
17 Le ƒe wuievelia ƒe ɣletia ƒe ŋkeke wuiatɔ̃lia gbe la, Yehowa ƒe nya va nam be,
In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
18 “Ame vi, fa avi ɖe Egipte ƒe ame gbogboawo ŋu, eye nàna woayi tome, Egipte kple dukɔ sesẽwo ƒe vinyɔnuviwo kple ame siwo yi aʋlime.
“Son of man, wail for the multitudes of Egypt, and consign her and the daughters of the mighty nations to the depths of the earth with those who descend to the Pit:
19 Gblɔ na wo be, ‘Ɖe wònyo na mi wu ale si wònyo na ame bubuwoea? Miyi tome, eye miamlɔ bolotɔwo dome.’
Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down and be placed with the uncircumcised!
20 Woamlɔ ame siwo tsi yinu la dome. Wolé yi la ɖe asi, mina woakplɔe adzoe kple eƒe ame gbogboawo.
They will fall among those slain by the sword. The sword is appointed! Let them drag her away along with all her multitudes.
21 Le yɔdo la me la, kplɔla ŋusẽtɔwo agblɔ tso Egipte kple ame siwo wòtsɔ aʋae la ŋu be, ‘Wova ɖo tome, eye woamlɔ bolotɔwo, ame siwo tsi yinu la dome.’ (Sheol )
Mighty chiefs will speak from the midst of Sheol about Egypt and her allies: ‘They have come down and lie with the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.’ (Sheol )
Assyria is there with her whole company; her graves are all around her. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword.

Her graves are set in the depths of the Pit, and her company is all around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword— those who once spread terror in the land of the living.
24 “Elam le afi ma, eye eƒe amehawo katã ɖe to ɖe eƒe yɔdo, Ame tsiaʋawo sɔŋ wonye, eye wotsi yinu, wonye bolotɔwo yi tsiẽƒe, woawoe de ŋɔdzi agbagbeawo ƒe anyigba dzi; azɔ ŋu akpe wo akpe ɖe aʋlimeyilawo ŋu.
Elam is there with all her multitudes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword— those who went down uncircumcised to the earth below, who once spread their terror in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit.
25 Wotsɔ eya kple eƒe amehawo katã mlɔ Ame tsiaʋawo dome, woƒe yɔdowo ɖe to ɖee, bolotɔwo sɔŋ wonye, eye woda yi wo, elabena wode ŋɔdzi agbagbeawo ƒe anyigba dzi; azɔ ŋu akpe wo akpe ɖe aʋlimeyilawo ŋu; Ame tsiaʋawo dome wokɔ wo mlɔe.
Among the slain they prepare a resting place for Elam with all her hordes, with her graves all around her. All of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword, although their terror was once spread in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit. They are placed among the slain.
26 “Mesek kple Tubal le afi ma kple woƒe ame gbogboawo katã, ƒo xlã yɔdoawo. Wo katã wonye bolotɔwo, wowu wo kple yi, elabena wokaka woƒe ŋɔdzidoname ɖe agbagbeawo ƒe anyigba dzi.
Meshech and Tubal are there with all their multitudes, with their graves all around them. All of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword, because they spread their terror in the land of the living.
27 Ɖe womemlɔ aʋawɔla bubuawo, ame siwo nye bolotɔwo dome, ame siwo ku, woyi yɔdo la me kple woƒe aʋawɔnuwo, ame siwo ƒe yi wotsɔ da ɖe woƒe ta te oa? Woƒe nu vɔ̃wo ƒe tohehe le woƒe ƒuwo dzi togbɔ be aʋawɔla siawo ƒe ŋɔdzidoname xɔ agbagbeawo ƒe anyigba dzi hã. (Sheol )
They do not lie down with the fallen warriors of old, who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war, whose swords were placed under their heads, whose shields rested on their bones, although the terror of the mighty was once in the land of the living. (Sheol )
28 “Wò hã, O! Farao, woagbã wò gudugudu, eye nàmlɔ bolotɔwo kple ame siwo tsi yinu la dome.
But you too will be shattered and lie down among the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.
Edom is there, and all her kings and princes, who despite their might are laid among those slain by the sword. They lie down with the uncircumcised, with those who descend to the Pit.
Womlɔ anyi aʋamatsomatsoe kple ame siwo yi aʋlime.
All the leaders of the north and all the Sidonians are there; they went down in disgrace with the slain, despite the terror of their might. They lie uncircumcised with those slain by the sword and bear their shame with those who descend to the Pit.
31 “Farao, eya kple eƒe aʋakɔ blibo la, akpɔ wo, eye woafa akɔ na wo le woƒe ame gbogbo siwo tsi yi nu la ta. Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.
Pharaoh will see them and be comforted over all his multitude— Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword,
32 Togbɔ be meɖe mɔ, wòdo ŋɔdzi na amewo le agbagbeawo ƒe anyigba dzi hã la, woakɔ Farao kple eƒe ame gbogboawo katã amlɔ bolotɔwo kple ame siwo tsi yinu la dome.” Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe.
For I will spread My terror in the land of the living, so that Pharaoh and all his multitude will be laid to rest among the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword,
