< Efesotɔwo 6 >

1 Mi ɖeviwo la, miɖo to mia dzilawo le Aƒetɔ la me, elabena esia le eteƒe.
CHILDREN, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 “Bu fofowò kple dawò,” esiae nye sedede gbãtɔ si ŋuti ŋugbedodo kpe ɖo,
Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise; )
3 “be wòadze edzi na wò nyuie, eye nànɔ agbe didi le anyigba dzi.”
That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 Mi fofowo la, migado dɔmedzoe na mia viwo o, ke boŋ mihe wo, eye miafia nu wo le Aƒetɔ la me.
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
5 Mi kluviwo la, miɖo to miaƒe aƒetɔ siwo le anyigba dzi, mide bubu wo ŋu le vɔvɔ̃ me. Misubɔ wo le anukware blibo me abe ale si miasubɔ Kristo ene.
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6 Miɖo to wo, menye ɖe esi woakpɔ ŋudzedze le mia ŋu ta o, ke boŋ abe Kristo ƒe kluvi siwo le Mawu ƒe lɔlɔ̃nu wɔm tso miaƒe dzime ke ene.
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7 Misubɔ tso dzi blibo me ke abe Aƒetɔ la subɔm miele ene, ke menye amegbetɔ o,
With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8 elabena mienya be Aƒetɔ la ana fetu ame sia ame ɖe eƒe dɔ nyui wɔwɔ ta, eɖanye kluvi alo ablɔɖevi o.
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9 Mi aƒetɔwo la, miwɔ nu dzɔdzɔewo ɖe miaƒe kluviwo ŋuti abe ale si megblɔ na wo be woawɔ na mi ene. Migado ŋɔdzi na wo o, miɖo ŋku edzi be ame sia nye mi katã ƒe Aƒetɔ le dziƒo, eye Aƒetɔ sia mekpɔa ame aɖeke ƒe ŋkume o.
And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10 Mlɔeba la, misẽ ŋu le Aƒetɔ la me kple Aƒetɔ la ƒe ŋusẽ triakɔ si le mia me la.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Mikpla Mawu ƒe aʋawɔnu blibo la katã be miate ŋu anɔ te ɖe Abosam ƒe ɖoɖowo kple ayemenu siwo wòɖo ɖe mia ŋuti la nu.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 Elabena míele aʋa wɔm kple ŋutilã kple ʋu o, ke boŋ kple dziɖulawo, ŋusẽtɔwo, xexe sia me vivitimeŋusẽwo kpakple gbɔgbɔmeŋusẽ vɔ̃ɖi siwo le dziƒonutowo me. (aiōn g165)
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (aiōn g165)
13 Eya ta mikpla Mawu ƒe aʋawɔnu blibo la katã be ne ŋkeke vɔ̃ la ɖo la, miate ŋu anɔ te ɖe futɔ la nu, eye ne miewɔ aʋa la vɔ la, miaganɔ te sesĩe.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Minɔ te sesĩe, mitsɔ nyateƒe la bla ali dzi, eye miatsɔ dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe akɔtablanu la atsyɔ akɔta,
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 eye mido afɔkpa siwo ana mianɔ klalo na gbeƒãɖeɖe ŋutifafanyanyui la.
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Kpe ɖe esiawo katã ŋu la, milé xɔse ƒe akpoxɔnu la ɖe asi, elabena eyae miatsɔ atsi vɔ̃ɖitɔ la ƒe aŋutrɔ siwo le abe dzo ƒe aɖewo ene lae.
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 Mitsɔ xɔxɔkpɔkpɔ ɖɔ abe gakuku ene, eye milé Gbɔgbɔ la ƒe yi si nye Mawu ƒe nya la ɖe asi.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Mido gbe ɖa le gbɔgbɔ me ɣe sia ɣi, miwɔ gbedodoɖa ɖe sia ɖe. Minɔ ŋudzɔ, eye miado gbe ɖa ɣe sia ɣi ɖe ame kɔkɔewo katã ta.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 Mido gbe ɖa ɖe nye hã tanye be ne mele nu ƒom la, Mawu nade nya nu nam, be maƒo nu dzideƒotɔe ne mele gbeƒã ɖem nyanyui la ƒe nya ɣaɣlawo,
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 nu si ta menye ame dɔdɔ si le game ɖo. Mido gbe ɖa be magblɔ nyanyui la vɔvɔ̃manɔmee, ale si mate ŋui.
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21 Tikiko, ame si nye nɔvi lɔlɔ̃a kple dɔla nuteƒewɔla le Aƒetɔ la me la agblɔ nya sia nya na mi, be miawo hã mianya nu tso ŋunye kple nu si wɔm mele.
But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
22 Susu sia dzaa ta ko mele edɔm ɖo ɖe mia gbɔ be mianya ale si míele, eye be wòade dzi ƒo na mi.
Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
23 Nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, ŋutifafa kple lɔlɔ̃ kpakple xɔse si tso Mawu Fofo la kple Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo gbɔ la nenɔ anyi kpli mi.
Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Mawu ƒe amenuveve kple yayra nanɔ ame siwo katã ɖe lɔlɔ̃ makumaku fia míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo la.
Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. Written from Rome unto the Ephesians by Tychicus.
