Nyagblɔla 6
1 Ke meganya nu tso nya sesẽ aɖe ŋu le afi sia afi.
Also another yuel is, which Y siy vndur the sunne; and certis it is oft vsid anentis men.
2 Nya siae nye Mawu tsɔ kesinɔnu geɖe kple bubu na ame aɖewo, ale be woate ŋu akpɔ nu sia nu si wodi la, ke mena lãmesesẽ wo be woaɖu agbe kple nu siawo o. Wokuna, eye ame bubuwo sãa xɔa kesinɔnu siawo katã! Nu sia nye nu masɔmasɔ, tofloko kple vodada gã aɖe.
A man is, to whom God yaf richessis, and catel, and onour; and no thing failith to his soule of alle thingis which he desirith; and God yyueth not power to hym, that he ete therof, but a straunge man shal deuoure it. This is vanyte, and a greet wretchidnesse.
3 Ne viŋutsu alafa ɖeka kple vinyɔnu alafa ɖeka anɔ ame aɖe si, eye wòatsi axɔ ƒe geɖe, gake ga si wòagblẽ ɖi hafi aku la le sue ale gbegbe be viawo mate ŋu aɖii, ade bubu eŋu o la, mele egblɔm be anyo nɛ wu ne eku le eƒe dzigbe,
If a man gendrith an hundrid fre sones, and lyueth many yeris, and hath many daies of age, and his soule vsith not the goodis of his catel, and wantith biriyng; Y pronounce of this man, that a deed borun child is betere than he.
4 elabena togbɔ be eƒe dzidzi anye tofloko le ɣe ma ɣi, eye wòawu enu le viviti me, eye womatsɔ ŋkɔ nɛ gɔ̃ hã o,
For he cometh in veyn, and goith to derknessis; and his name schal be don a wei bi foryetyng.
5 makpɔ ɣe kpɔ o, eye manya be ɣe li gɔ̃ hã o la, anyo nɛ alea sãa wu be wòava zu amegãɖeɖi si makpɔ dzidzɔ aɖeke o.
He siy not the sunne, nether knew dyuersyte of good and of yuel;
6 Ne ame aɖe anɔ agbe ƒe akpe ɖeka zi eve gake makpɔ dzidzeme aɖeke o la, ekema viɖe kae le eƒe agbenɔnɔ ŋu?
also thouy he lyueth twei thousynde yeeris, and vsith not goodis; whether alle thingis hasten not to o place?
7 Ame ƒe sreɖidzedzewo katã ku ɖe eƒe nuɖuɖu ko ŋu, ke meɖia ƒo ɣe aɖeke ɣi o.
Al the trauel of a man is in his mouth, but the soule of hym schal not be fillid with goodis.
8 Nu kae nunyala tsɔ nyo wu bometsila? Viɖe kae ame dahe kpɔna ne enya ale si wòalé eɖokui le amewo ŋkume?
What hath a wijs man more than a fool? and what hath a pore man, no but that he go thidur, where is lijf?
9 Nukpɔkpɔ kple ŋku nyo wu nudzroame ƒe tsaglalãtsatsa le susu me. Drɔ̃ekuku dzodzro le nu nyuiwo ŋu nye bometsitsi eye wòganye dagbadagba ɖe yame ko.
It is betere to se that, that thou coueitist, than to desire that, that thou knowist not; but also this is vanyte, and presumpcioun of spirit.
10 Dzɔgbesee ɖoa nu sia nu dana ɖi; woɖo nu sia nu si ame ava zu la da ɖi xoxo eya ta viɖe aɖeke mele nyahehe kple Mawu tso ale si wòwɔ wo la ŋu o.
The name of hym that schal come, is clepid now, and it is knowun, that he is a man, and he mai not stryue in doom ayens a strongere than hym silf.
11 Ne wò nyawo sɔ gbɔ la, gɔmesese geɖe manɔ wo ŋu o, ekema nu ka ta nàɖe fu na ɖokuiwò be yeaƒo nu kura?
Wordis ben ful manye, and han myche vanyte in dispuytinge.
12 Le míaƒe agbemeŋkeke ʋɛ siawo me la, ame ka ate ŋu agblɔ ale si ame nawɔ eƒe ŋkekewo ŋu dɔ nyuie? Ame ka ate ŋu anya nu si ava nye nyuitɔ le ŋgɔgbea ne amea nu va yi? Elabena ame kae nya etsɔ me?
What nede is it to a man to seke grettere thingis than hym silf; sithen he knowith not, what schal bifalle to hym in his lijf, in the noumbre of daies of his pilgrimage, and in the tyme that passith as schadowe? ether who may schewe to hym, what thing vndur sunne schal come aftir hym?
