1 Mose lia Nebo to la tso Moab tagba la le Yeriko kasa, eye wòyi Pisga to la tame. Yehowa na wòkpɔ Ŋugbedodonyigba la tso afi ma, tso Gilead va se ɖe Dan.
Moses left the plains of Moab and went to Mount Nebo, climbing right to the top of Pisgah that faces in the direction of Jericho. The Lord showed him the whole country, from Gilead all the way to Dan.
2 Yehowa gblɔ na Mose be, “Kpɔ Naftali, Efraim kple Manase ɖa le afii; kpɔ Yuda ɖa, ekeke tso afi mɛ yi ɖatɔ Domeƒu la.
This included all the territories of Naphtali, Ephraim and Manasseh, Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea,
3 Kpɔ Negeb kple Yɔdan ƒe balime kple Yeriko, du si me detiwo bɔ ɖo kple Zoar ɖa.
the Negev, and the Jordan Valley from Jericho (the city of palms) down to Zoar.
4 “Esiae nye ŋugbedodonyigba la. Medo ŋugbe na Abraham, Isak kple Yakob be matsɔe ana woƒe dzidzimeviwo. Azɔ la, èkpɔe, gake maɖo afɔ edzi o.”
The Lord told him, “This is the country I solemnly promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I'm giving it to your descendants.’ I have allowed you to see it for yourself, but you're not going to enter it.”
5 Ale Mose, Yehowa ƒe dɔla la ku le Moabnyigba dzi abe ale si Yehowa gblɔe do ŋgɔ ene.
Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in the country of Moab, just as the Lord had said.
6 Yehowa ɖii ɖe Moabnyigba dzi, le balime si dze ŋgɔ Bet Peor, gake va se ɖe egbe la, ame aɖeke menya afi si yɔdo la le o.
He buried him in a valley there in Moab that is opposite Beth-peor, but no one knows to this day where Moses' grave is.
7 Mose xɔ ƒe alafa ɖeka kple blaeve hafi ku, gake eƒe ŋkuwo gakpɔa nu nyuie, eye ŋusẽ nɔ eŋu.
Moses was 120 when he died, yet he was still seeing clearly and he was still strong.
8 Israelviwo fae ŋkeke blaetɔ̃ le Moab tagba la va se ɖe esime funyiŋkekeawo wu nu.
The Israelites mourned for Moses on the plains of Moab for thirty days, until the time of mourning was over.
9 Nunya ƒe gbɔgbɔ yɔ Yosua, Nun ƒe viŋutsu me, elabena Mose da eƒe asiwo ɖe edzi, eya ta Israelviwo ɖo toe, eye wowɔ ɖe se siwo katã Yehowa de na wo to Mose dzi la dzi.
Joshua, son of Nun, was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had placed his hands on him to dedicate him. The Israelites paid attention to him, and followed the instructions the Lord had given to Moses.
10 Ke tso ɣe ma ɣi la, nyagblɔɖila aɖeke meganɔ anyi kpɔ le Israel abe Mose ene o, elabena Yehowa ƒo nu kplii ŋkume kple ŋkume,
Since then there has never been a prophet in Israel like Moses who was the Lord's close friend.
11 eye wòwɔ dzesi kple nukunu siwo katã Yehowa ɖoe ɖa be wòawɔ le Egiptenyigba dzi na Farao, na eƒe subɔlawo katã kple dukɔ blibo la,
The Lord sent him to carry out all the signs and miracles in Egypt to convince Pharaoh and his officials, and all the people in the country.
12 elabena ame aɖeke meɖe ŋusẽ triakɔ sia fia alo wɔ nu dziŋɔ siwo Mose wɔ le Israel blibo la ŋkume kpɔ o.
Moses did these amazing things with tremendous power as the Israelites watched.
