< Mose 5 23 >

1 “Ŋutsu si ƒe voku gbã alo ŋutsu si ƒe ŋutsu wolã la mekpɔ mɔ age ɖe Kɔkɔeƒe la o.
Neither he that hath been mutilated by crushing, nor he that hath had his privy member cut off, shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
A bastard shall not enter into the convocation of Yahweh, —even to the tenth generation, shall none of his enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
3 “Amonitɔ alo Moabtɔ aɖeke, le dzidzime ewolia megbe gɔ̃ hã mekpɔ mɔ age ɖe kɔkɔeƒe la o.
Neither an Ammonite nor a Moabite shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh, —even to the tenth generation, shall none that belong to them enter into the convocation of Yahweh, unto times age-abiding:
4 Nu si ta mede se sia ɖoe nye be, dukɔ siawo mena nuɖuɖu kple tsi mí esi mietso Egipte va ɖo wo gbɔ o. Gawu la, woxe fe na Balaam, Beor ƒe viŋutsu, tso Petor le Aram Naharaim be wòaƒo fi ade mí.
because they met you not with bread and water, in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, —but hired against thee Balaam son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
5 Yehowa wò Mawu meɖo to Balaam o, ke boŋ etrɔ fi si wòdi be yeaƒo ade mí la wòzu yayra na mí, elabena Yehowa lɔ̃ mí.
Nevertheless, Yahweh thy God consented not to hearken unto Balaam, but Yahweh thy God turned, for thee, the curse into a blessing, —because Yahweh thy God loved thee.
Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their welfare, —all thy days, unto times age-abiding.
7 Ke migado vlo Edomtɔwo kple Egiptetɔwo ya o. Mia nɔviwoe nye Edomtɔwo, eye mienɔ Egiptetɔwo dome kpɔ.
Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite, for thy brother, he is, —thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, for a sojourner, becamest thou in his land;
the sons who are born to them, of the third generation, may enter unto them in the convocation of Yahweh.
9 “Ne mieyi aʋa la, ŋutsu siwo le asaɖa la me la mekpɔ mɔ awɔ nu vɔ̃ aɖeke o.
When thou goest forth into camp against thine enemies, then shalt thou beware of everything foul.
10 Ele be ŋutsu ɖe sia ɖe si gblẽ kɔ ɖo na eɖokui to ŋutsutsinyenye me le zã me la nado le asaɖa la me,
When there is in thy midst a man who is not clean through a mischance of the night, then shall he go forth unto the outside of the camp, he shall not come into the midst of the camp;
11 anɔ asaɖa la godo va se ɖe fiẽ, ekema ale tsi, eye wòatrɔ ava asaɖa la me ne ɣe ɖo to.
but it shall be, when the evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water, —and at the going in of the sun, he shall come into the midst of the camp.
12 Woawɔ afɔdzideƒe ɖe asaɖa la godo.
And a place aside, shalt thou have, without the camp, —whither thou canst go forth abroad;
13 Ele be sofi nanɔ ŋutsu ɖe sia ɖe si. Ne ede afɔdzi la, ele be wòatsɔ sofi la, eye wòaku ke atsyɔ afɔdzi la dzi.
and a blade, shalt thou have upon thy staff, —so shall it be, that when thou wouldest sit down outside, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which hath passed from thee:
14 Ele be asaɖa la me nanɔ kɔkɔe, elabena Yehowa miaƒe Mawu zɔna le mia dome be yeadzɔ mia ŋu, eye yeana miaƒe futɔwo nade ta agu na mi. Yehowa medi be yeakpɔ nu nyɔŋu aɖeke ne yeatrɔ adzo le mia gbɔ o.”
for, Yahweh thy God, walketh to and fro in the midst of thy camp, to rescue thee, and to deliver up thine enemies before thee, so shall thy camps be holy, —and he shall see in thee no shameful thing, that he should turn away from following thee.
15 “Ne kluvi aɖe si dzo le eƒe aƒetɔ gbɔ la, mègazi edzi be wòatrɔ ayi eƒe aƒetɔ gbɔ o.
Thou shalt not deliver up a slave unto his lord, —one who maketh his escape unto thee, from his lord:
16 Na wòatsi mia dome le du si me wòadi be yeanɔ eye mègatee ɖe anyi o.
with thee, shall he remain in thy midst, in the place which he shall choose in any of thy gates where it seemeth good to him, —thou shalt not oppress him.
There shall be no female devotee of the daughters of Israel, —neither shall there be, a male devotee, of the sons of Israel.
18 Mègaxɔ nunana aɖeke tso gbolo aɖeke ƒe gboloho me alo tso ŋutsu siwo dɔa ŋutsuwo gbɔ la ƒe ahasiho me atsɔ na Yehowa o, elabena ame ƒomevi eve siawo nye ŋunyɔ na Yehowa, wò Mawu la.
Thou shalt not bring the wages of an unchaste woman, or the hire of a dog, into the house of Yahweh thy God for any vow, —for, an abomination unto Yahweh thy God, are they both.
19 “Mègaxɔ deme ɖe nu si nèdo na nɔviwò, Israelvi la ta o, eɖanye ga, nuɖuɖu alo nu bubu ɖe sia ɖe o.
Thou shalt not lend on interest to thy brother, interest of silver, interest of food, —interest of any thing that can be lent on interest:
20 Ele be nàxɔ deme le amedzro si, gake menye le Israelvi aɖeke si o, elabena ne èxɔ deme le nɔviwò Israelvi si la, Yehowa, wò Mawu la mayra wò ne èɖo Ŋugbedodonyigba la dzi o.
to a foreigner, thou mayest lend on interest, but to thy brother, shalt thou not lend on interest, —that Yahweh thy God may bless thee, in everything where-unto thou puttest thy hand, upon the land which thou art entering to possess.
21 “Ne èɖe adzɔgbe na Yehowa, wò Mawu la, ele be nàtso ɖe nu si ŋugbe nèdo nɛ la wɔwɔ ŋu kaba, elabena Yehowa bia be nàxe wò adzɔgbeɖefewo kaba. Ne mèwɔ se sia dzi o la, èwɔ nu vɔ̃.
When thou shalt vow a vow unto Yahweh thy God, thou shalt not delay to make it good, —for Yahweh thy God would, require, it of thee, and it should be in thee sin.
22 Ke ne mèɖe adzɔgbe kura o la, mèwɔ nu vɔ̃ o.
But, if thou refrain from vowing, it shall not be in thee sin.
23 Ne ènya ɖe adzɔgbe ko la, ele be nàkpɔ egbɔ be yewɔ nu si ŋugbe nèdo be yeawɔ la kokoko, elabena wò ŋutɔe tia nu si nàwɔ, eye Yehowa, wò Mawu lae nèɖe adzɔgbe na.
That which goeth forth out of thy lips, thou must observe and do, —according as thou didst vow unto Yahweh thy God the free-will, offering of which thou didst speak with thy mouth.
24 “Ne èyi ame bubu aɖe ƒe waingble me la, àte ŋu aɖu eƒe waintsetse aɖi ƒo, gake mèkpɔ mɔ atsɔ ɖeke ade naneke me adzoe o.
When thou enterest into the vineyard of thy neighbour, then mayest thou eat grapes at thy pleasure to thy fill, -but into thy vessel, shalt thou put none.
When thou enterest the standing corn of thy neighbour, thou mayest pluck off ears with thy hand, —but a sickle, shalt thou not wield against the standing corn of thy neighbour.
