1 Nye, Paulo, ame si Mawu tia be wòanye Yesu Kristo ƒe dɔtsɔla kple nɔvi xɔsetɔ Timoteo gbɔe agbalẽ sia tso,
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
2 Na Kristotɔ nuteƒewɔlawo kple Mawu ƒe ame siwo ŋu wokɔ le Kolose dua me. Mawu mía Fofo la ƒe ŋutifafa kple amenuveve nanɔ kpli mi.
to the holy and believing brothers in Christ who are in Colosse. Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father.
3 Ɣe sia ɣi ne míele gbe dom ɖa ɖe mia ta la, míedzea egɔme kple akpedada na Mawu míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo Fofo,
Whenever I pray for you I am continually thanking God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
4 elabena míese nu geɖe tso ale si miexɔ Yesu Kristo dzi se kple lɔlɔ̃ manyagblɔ si mietsɔ na eƒe ame kɔkɔewo katã la ŋu.
(since I heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love to all the saints)
5 Eye tso ŋkeke gbãtɔ si dzi wogblɔ nyanyui ƒe nyateƒe la na mi va se ɖe fifia la, mietsɔ xɔse kpɔ mɔ na dzidzɔ tso dziƒo. Ale miaƒe xɔse kple lɔlɔ̃ tso mɔkpɔkpɔ si wodzra ɖo na mi le dziƒo la me.
because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. Long ago you heard of this hope in the message which came to you of the truth of the gospel.
6 Nyanyui si wogblɔ na mi la, eya ke gblɔm wole le xexea me godoo, eye wòle amewo ƒe agbenɔnɔ trɔm le afi sia afi, abe ale si wòtrɔ miaƒe agbenɔnɔ tso ŋkeke gbãtɔ si dzi miese nu tso Mawu ƒe amenuveve gã na vɔ̃ wɔlawo ŋu eye miese eme le nyateƒe me ene.
And just as it is spreading through the whole world, bearing fruit and increasing, so also is it among you, from the day in which you heard it, and came truly to know the grace of God,
7 Epafra míaƒe hadɔwɔla lɔlɔ̃ lae tsɔ nyanyui la vɛ na mi. Eyae nye Yesu Kristo ƒe subɔla vavã si le kpekpem ɖe mia ŋuti ɖe mía teƒe,
as you learned it from Epaphras, our dearly loved fellow slave. He is a faithful minister of Jesus Christ in your behalf,
8 eye eyae nye ame si gblɔ miaƒe lɔlɔ̃ le gbɔgbɔ me la fia mi.
and it is he who has told me of your love for me in the spirit.
9 Eya ta tso gbe si gbe míese mia ŋkɔ zi gbãtɔ ko la, míedoa gbe ɖa ɖe mia ta ɣe sia ɣi, eye míebiaa Mawu be wòakpe ɖe mia ŋuti miase nu si wòdi be miawɔ la gɔme, eye wòawɔ mi mianye nunyalawo tso gbɔgbɔmenuwo ŋuti.
For this reason from the day I heard of it I have never ceased to pray for you, asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will with every kind of wisdom and spiritual insight;
10 Míegabiana hã be miaƒe agbenɔnɔ nadze Aƒetɔ la ŋu ɣe sia ɣi eye woade bubu eŋuti, ale be miatse ku le dɔ sia dɔ wɔwɔ nyuie me; eye mianya Mawu ɖe edzi wu.
that you may walk worthy of the Lord in every kind of pleasing; that you may be fruitful in every kind of good work, and may increase in the knowledge of God;
11 Míele gbe dom ɖa hã be Mawu ƒe ŋusẽ gã nayɔ mia me fũu ale be nu ka kee adzɔ hã la, miate ŋu agbɔ dzi ɖi, anɔ te sesĩe, eye Aƒetɔ la ƒe dzidzɔ nayɔ mia me taŋtaŋ ɣe sia ɣi.
that you may be strengthened in every kind of strength by the might of his glory for every kind of patience and fortitude with good cheer.
12 Eye be miada akpe na Fofo la, ame si wɔ mí be míedze na gomekpɔkpɔ le nu siwo kekeli la ƒe fiaɖuƒemetɔwo akpɔ gome le la me.
I ask that you may give thanks to the Father who has made us fit to receive our share of the heritage of the saints in the light.
13 Elabena eyae ɖe mí tso viviti ƒe ŋusẽ kple Satana ƒe fiaɖuƒe la me, eye wòkplɔ mí va Via lɔlɔ̃ la ƒe fiaɖuƒe mee;
For he has delivered us out of the dominion of the darkness, and transplanted us into the kingdom of his dear Son,
14 eyae wɔ mi ablɔɖeviwo, eye wòtsɔ míaƒe nu vɔ̃wo katã ke mí.
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
15 Kristoe nye Mawu si míekpɔna o la ƒe nɔnɔme tututu. Eli hafi Mawu wɔ nu sia nu, eye le nyateƒe me la,
He is a visible image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
16 Kristo ŋutɔe nye nu sia nu si le dziƒo kple anyigba dzi, nu siwo míekpɔna kple nu siwo míekpɔna o la siaa wɔla. Eya kee wɔ gbɔgbɔwo ƒe xexeme si míekpɔna o la, eƒe fiawo, fiaɖuƒewo, amegãwo kple woƒe ŋusẽwo. Kristo wɔ esiawo katã na eya ŋutɔ ƒe ŋu dɔ wɔwɔ kple ŋutikɔkɔe.
for in him was the universe created, things in heaven and on earth, the seen and the unseen, thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; by him and for him all have been created;
17 Eli xoxoxo hafi nu sia nu va dzɔ, eye eƒe ŋusẽ lé xexemenuwo katã ƒo ƒu.
and HE IS before all, and in him all things subsist.
18 Eye eyae nye ta na hame, si nye eƒe ŋutilã, eyae nye gɔmedzedzea kple ame siwo fɔ tso yɔ me ƒe ŋgɔgbetɔ, ale be le nu sia nu me la, wòanye gbãtɔ.
He is the head of his Body, the Church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order that in all things he may become preeminent.
19 Elabena Mawu di be nu sia nu si le ye me la nanɔ ye Vi hã me.
For in him all the divine fulness chose to dwell;
20 Mawu to nu si Via wɔ me, ʋu mɔ be nu siwo katã le dziƒo kple anyigba dzi la nava eya ŋutɔ gbɔ, elabena Kristo to eƒe ku le atitsoga ŋuti me wɔ ŋutifafa le Mawu kple amewo katã dome to eƒe ʋu me.
and by him it chose to reconcile all things alike on earth or in heaven to himself; making peace by him, through the blood of his cross.
21 Ehe ŋutifafa sia vɛ na mi, ame siwo nɔ adzɔge tsã tso Mawu gbɔ la hã. Tsã la, mienye Mawu ƒe futɔwo, mielé fui, eye miaƒe susu vɔ̃wo kple vɔ̃wɔwɔwo na be mi kplii dome klã, gake azɔ la, egakplɔ mi va eɖokui gbɔe abe exɔlɔ̃wo ene.
And you, alienated as you once were, hostile at heart in your evil deeds,
22 Kristo wɔ esia to eƒe ku me abe amegbetɔ ene, hekplɔ mi va Mawu ƒe ŋkumee; miele tsitre ɖe Mawu ŋkume ame maɖifɔwoe, eye naneke kura megale mia ŋuti si ana woaka mo na mi o.
he has now in his human body reconciled to God by his death, in order that he may bring you into his presence, holy and unblemished and irreproachable.
23 Nu ɖeka si ku ɖe nu sia ŋuti la koe nye be miaxɔ nyateƒe la dzi ase blibo, abe ame siwo gɔme woɖo anyi eye wole tsitre sesĩe ene, eye miagana woate mi ɖa tso nyanyui la ƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ si miese la gbɔ o. Esia nye nukunya kple nya si va na mi katã, eye wòle kakam ɖe xexe blibo la katã me fifia. Eye enye dzidzɔ na nye, Paulo, be masubɔ agblɔ nya sia na ame bubuwo.
And this he will do if, indeed, you continue in the faith, firmly founded and stedfast, and never moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, and which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, that gospel of which I, Paul, was made a minister.
24 Ke nye dɔ ƒe akpa aɖee nye be makpe fu ɖe mia ta, eye enye dzidzɔ nam be wòle nenema, elabena mele kpekpeɖeŋu nam, be Kristo ƒe fu siwo wòkpe ɖe eƒe ŋutilã si nye eƒe hamea ta la nawu enu.
I am now rejoicing in my sufferings on your behalf; and I am filling up in my own body what is yet lacking of the sufferings of Christ in behalf of the church, his Body.
25 Mezu hamea ƒe subɔla abe ale si Mawu dɔm abe xɔnuvi ene be mawu eƒe nya blibo la nu;
It is of this I was made a minister, according to the stewardship entrusted to me by God for you, fully to declare God’s message;
26 nya ɣaɣla si wodzra ɖo tso gbe aɖe gbe ke na dzidzimewo, gake azɔ la, eɖee fia ame kɔkɔewo. (aiōn g165)
that secret truth, which, although hidden from ages and generations of old, has now been made manifest to his saints. (aiōn g165)
27 Ame siawo Mawu lɔ̃ be yeana woanya yeƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ƒe kesinɔnu ɣaɣlawo le ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo dome; nu ɣaɣla siae nye be Kristo le mia me si nye ŋutikɔkɔe ƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ.
To them God willed to make known among the Gentiles how glorious are the riches of that secret truth, which is "Christ in you, the hope of glory."
28 Eya ta afi sia afi si míeyina la, míeƒoa nu tso Kristo ŋuti na ame siwo katã le klalo be yewoaɖo to mí la. Míefiaa nu wo, eye míexlɔ̃a nu wo vevie abe ale si míate ŋui ene. Míedina be míakplɔ ame sia ame ayi Mawu ƒe ŋkume fɔɖiɖimanɔŋui, ɖe dɔ si Kristo wɔ na wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe la ta.
Him I am ever proclaiming, warning every one and teaching every one, in all wisdom; that I may bring every man into his presence, full grown in Christ.
29 Esiae nye nye dɔ, eye mate ŋu awɔe to Kristo ƒe ŋusẽ triakɔ si le dɔ wɔm le menye la ɖeɖe ko me.
For that end I am ever toiling, wrestling with all that energy of his which is mightily at work within me.
