1 Gbe ɖeka le ɣetrɔ ga etɔ̃ me la, Petro kple Yohanes woyina gbedoxɔ la me be yewoado gbe ɖa abe ale si wowɔnɛ ɖaa ene.
Now Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
2 Esi woɖo gbedoxɔ la gbɔ la, wokpɔ ŋutsu tekunɔ aɖe si wokɔ va da ɖe gbedoxɔ la ƒe agbo si woyɔna be, “Agbo Nyui” la nu. Amea nye tekunɔ tso eƒe dzɔdzɔme ke, eye gbe sia gbe la, wokɔnɛ va dana ɖe agbo sia nu be wòabia nu le ame siwo yina gbedoxɔ me la si.
Now a man lame from birth was being carried every day to the Beautiful gate of temple, so he could ask people who were going into the temple for a gift of money.
3 Esi wòkpɔ Petro kple Yohanes woyina ɖe gbedoxɔa me la, edo ɣli bia wo be woana ga ye.
When he saw Peter and John about to enter the temple, he asked them for a gift of money.
4 Petro kple Yohanes trɔ kpɔe dũu, eye Petro gblɔ nɛ be, “Fɔ ta dzi nàkpɔ míaƒe ŋkume.”
Peter, fastening his eyes upon him, with John, said, “Look at us.”
5 Ke tekunɔ la fɔ ŋku ɖe wo dzi gãa henɔ mɔ kpɔm be woana nane ye.
The lame man looked at them, expecting to receive something from them.
But Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I will give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
7 Ale Petro do asi ɖa lé tekunɔ la ƒe alɔnu be wòatsi tsitre. Kasia tekunɔ la kpɔ be ŋusẽ ɖo yeƒe afɔ kple drikame ŋu.
Taking him by the right hand, Peter raised him up, and immediately the man's feet and ankle were made strong.
8 Ale wòti kpo, tsi tsitre hede asi azɔlizɔzɔ me. Enɔ kpo tim, nɔ zɔzɔm alea henɔ Mawu kafum, eye wòdze Petro kple Yohanes yome ge ɖe gbedoxɔ la me.
Leaping up, the lame man stood and began to walk; and he entered with Peter and John into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
9 Ame siwo katã kpɔ ame sia wònɔ zɔzɔm, nɔ Mawu kafum la
All the people saw him walking and praising God.
10 de dzesii be eyae nye ŋutsu ma si nɔa nu biam le gbedoxɔ la ƒe agbo si woyɔna be “Agbo Nyui” la nu; Woƒe nu ku, eye woƒe mo wɔ yaa le nu si dzɔ ɖe edzi la ta.
They noticed that it was the man who had been asking people for a gift of money at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement because of what had happened to him.
As he was holding on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly marveling.
12 Esi Petro kpɔ esia la, egblɔ na wo be, “Israeltɔwo, nu ka ta nuwɔna sia wɔ nuku na mi? Nu ka ta mile mía kpɔm abe míawo ŋutɔ ƒe ŋusẽ alo míaƒe kɔkɔenyenye tae míete ŋu da gbe le ame sia ŋu, ale be wòte ŋu le zɔzɔm ɖo mahã?”
When Peter saw this, he answered the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel? Why do you fix your eyes on us, as if we had made him to walk by our own power or godliness?
13 Medi be eme nakɔ na mi nyuie be Mawu si nye Abraham, Isak, Yakob kple mía tɔgbuitɔgbuiwo ƒe Mawu lae da gbe le ame sia ŋu be yeatsɔ ade bubu eƒe subɔla Yesu ŋu. Yesu si miede asi hegbe nu le egbɔ le Pilato ŋkume, togbɔ be Pilato dze agbagba ale gbegbe be yeaɖe asi le eŋu hafi.
The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. He is the one whom you delivered up and rejected before the face of Pilate, when he had decided to release him.
14 Miegbe nu le dzɔdzɔetɔ la kple kɔkɔetɔ la gbɔ eye miebia be wòaɖe asi le hlɔ̃dola ŋu boŋ.
You rejected the Holy and Righteous One, and you asked instead for a murderer to be released to you.
You killed the Founder of life, whom God raised from the dead—and we are witnesses of this.
16 “Le Yesu ƒe ŋkɔ me, to xɔse me tekunɔ sia, ame si miekpɔ, eye mienya nyuie la kpɔ dɔyɔyɔ. Yesu ƒe ŋkɔ kple xɔse si vana to eƒe ŋkɔ me lae na dɔyɔyɔ bliboe abe ale si mi katã miele ekpɔm ene.
Now, by faith in his name—this man whom you see and know—this same name made him strong. The faith that is through Jesus gave to him this complete health in the presence of all of you.
17 “Azɔ nɔviwo, menya be nu si miewɔ ɖe Yesu ŋu la, mienya hafi wɔe o. Nenema kee nye mia nunɔlawo hã.
Now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
18 Ke to wɔna siawo me la, Mawu na be nu siwo nyagblɔɖilawo gblɔ da ɖi be ele be Kristo la nakpe fu nenema la va eme.
But the things which God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he has now fulfilled.
19 Ke azɔ la, nɔviwo, mitrɔ dzi me, miatrɔ ɖe Mawu ŋu, be wòatutu miaƒe nu vɔ̃wo ɖa, eye miaxɔ fafa tso aƒetɔ la gbɔ,
Repent, therefore, and turn, so that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come periods of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;
20 ne wòaɖo Kristo si nye Yesu, ame si wòtia na mi la ɖe mi.
and that he may send the Christ who has been appointed for you, Jesus.
21 Ɛ̃, abe ale si nyagblɔɖila kɔkɔewo gblɔe da ɖi xoxoxo ene la, ele be Yesu nanɔ dziƒo va se ɖe esime Mawu naɖɔ nu sia nu ɖo keŋkeŋkeŋ. (aiōn g165)
He is the One heaven must receive until the time of the restoration of all things, about which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. (aiōn g165)
22 Mose hã gblɔe xoxo be, ‘Ɣeyiɣi gbɔna, esi Yehowa wò Mawu ŋutɔ aɖo nyagblɔɖila tɔxɛ aɖe ɖe mia dome, tso mia nɔviwo dome abe nye Mose pɛpɛpɛ ene. Anyo na mi be miaɖo to nu sia nu si wòagblɔ na mi,
Moses indeed said, 'The Lord God will raise up a prophet like me from among your brothers. You shall listen to everything that he will speak to you.
It will happen that every person who does not listen to that prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people.'
Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who came after him, they spoke out and announced these days.
25 Miawoe nye nyagblɔɖila siawo ƒe dzidzimeviwo, eye nu si Mawu bla kple mia tɔgbuiwo la, miawo hã miele eme. Mawu bla nu kple Abraham be, ‘Woayra xexea me blibo la to wò dzidzimeviwo dzi.’
You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, as he said to Abraham, 'In your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.'
26 Le nubabla sia ta, esi Mawu ɖo eƒe dɔla ɖe xexea me la, eɖoe ɖe mia gbɔ gbã be wòayra mi, miadzudzɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ, atrɔ va Mawu gbɔ.”
After God raised up his servant, he sent him to you first, in order to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.”
