1 Paulo li ŋku ɖe takpekpea dzi gãa, eye wòƒo nu gblɔ be, “Nɔviwo, nye dzitsinya ka ɖe edzi nam be nye agbenɔnɔ dzea Mawu ŋu ɣe sia ɣi.”
And Poul bihelde in to the counsel, and seide, Britheren, Y with al good conscience haue lyued bifore God, `til in to this dai.
2 Esi wòɖe nu le nya sia me teti ko la, nunɔlagã Anania ɖe gbe be ame siwo le Paulo gbɔ lɔƒo la naƒo nugbɔ nɛ. Ale woƒoe nɛ.
And Anany, prince of prestis, comaundide to men that stoden nyy hym, that thei schulden smyte his mouth.
3 Paulo gblɔ nɛ be, “Mawu aƒo wò hã, wò ame si le abe gli si wosi akalo na ene. Ènɔ zi dzi be nadrɔ̃ ʋɔnum ɖe se la nu, ke wò ŋutɔ nèda sea dzi, ɖe gbe be woaƒo alɔgbɔ nam!”
Thanne Poul seide to hym, Thou whitid wal, God smyte thee; thou sittist, and demest me bi the lawe, and ayens the law thou comaundist me to be smytun.
4 Ame siwo nɔ tsitre ɖe Paulo gbɔ la do ɣli ɖe eta be, “Mɔ kae nèkpɔ be nànɔ Mawu ƒe nunɔlagã la dzum alea?”
And thei that stoden niy, seiden, Cursist thou the hiyest prest of God?
5 Paulo ɖo eŋu be, “Tɔnye medzɔ o, nɔviwo, nyemenya be eyae nye nunɔlagã la o, elabena mawunya gblɔ be, ‘Mègagblɔ nya vɔ̃ aɖeke ɖe wò dukɔ ƒe kplɔlawo ŋu o.’”
And Poul seide, Britheren, Y wiste not, that he is prince of preestis; for it is writun, Thou schalt not curse the prince of thi puple.
6 Azɔ, esi Paulo kpɔe dze sii be takpekpea me valawo ƒe akpa aɖewo nye Zadukitɔwo, eye ɖewo hã nye Farisitɔwo ŋuti la, edo ɣli gblɔ be, “Nɔvinyewo, Farisitɔ menye abe tɔgbuinyewo ke ene, eye nu si ta wohem va ʋɔnue egbe lae nye be nye hã meka ɖe edzi abe miawo ke ene be ame siwo ku la agafɔ tso ku me.”
But Poul wiste, that o parti was of Saduceis, and the othere of Fariseis; and he criede in the counsel, Britheren, Y am a Farisee, the sone of Farisees; Y am demyd of the hope and of the ayen rising of deed men.
7 Esi wògblɔ esia ko la, ʋiʋli ge ɖe Farisitɔwo kple Zadukitɔwo dome, eye takpekpe la ma ɖe akpa eve.
And whanne he hadde seid this thing, dissencioun was maad bitwixe the Fariseis and the Saduceis, and the multitude was departid.
8 (Elabena Zadukitɔwo gblɔna be tsitretsitsi tso ame kukuwo dome meli o, eye mawudɔlawo kple gbɔgbɔwo meli o, ke Farisitɔwo xɔ nu siawo dzi se be woli.)
For Saduceis seien, that no `rysing ayen of deed men is, nether aungel, nether spirit; but Fariseis knowlechen euer eithir.
9 Nu sia he tɔtɔ gã aɖe vɛ, eye Yudatɔwo ƒe agbalẽfiala aɖewo siwo nye Farisitɔwo tsi tsitre hedo ɣli be yewomekpɔ be naneke gblẽ le Paulo ŋu o, ke boŋ ɖewohĩ mawudɔla alo gbɔgbɔ aɖee ƒo nu nɛ le Damasko mɔ dzi.
And a greet cry was maad. And summe of Farisees rosen vp, and fouyten, seiynge, We fynden no thing of yuel in this man; what if a spirit, ether an aungel spak to hym?
10 Hoowɔwɔ la va de dzi blibo, eye asrafoawo ƒe amegã vɔ̃ be woava vuvu Paulo. Mlɔeba la, eɖe gbe na eƒe asrafowo be woakplɔ Paulo adzoe sesẽtɔe le wo gbɔ, ale wokplɔe gayi ɖe gaxɔa mee le asrafowo ƒe nɔƒe.
And whanne greet discencioun was maad, the tribune dredde, lest Poul schulde be to-drawun of hem; and he comaundide knyytis to go doun, and to take hym fro the myddil of hem, and to lede hym in to castels.
11 Le zã me la, Aƒetɔ la va Paulo gbɔ gblɔ nɛ be, “Paulo, dzi megaɖe le ƒowò o, elabena abe ale si nèɖi ɖase le ŋunye le Yerusalem ene la, nenema kee nèle ɖase ɖi ge le ŋunye le Roma hã.”
And in the niyt suynge the Lord stood niy to hym, and seide, Be thou stidfast; for as thou hast witnessid of me in Jerusalem, so it bihoueth thee to witnesse also at Rome.
12 Esi ŋu ke la, Yudatɔ aɖewo ƒo ƒu, eye woka atam na wo ɖokuiwo be ne yewomewu Paulo o kpaa, yewomaɖu nu alo ano tsi o.
And whanne the dai was come, summe of the Jewis gaderiden hem, and maden `avow, and seiden, that thei schulden nether eete, ne drinke, til thei slowen Poul.
13 Ŋutsu siwo ɖo vɔ̃ sia la sɔ gbɔ wu ame blaene.
And there weren mo than fourti men, that maden this sweryng togider.
14 Woyi nunɔlagãwo kple dumegãwo gbɔ hegblɔ na wo be, “Míeka atam ƒo ɖe mía ɖokui dzi be míele naneke ɖu ge va se ɖe esime míawu Paulo o.
And thei wenten to the princis of prestis, and eldre men, and seiden, With deuocioun we han a vowid, that we schulen not taste ony thing, til we sleen Poul.
15 Miawo kple ʋɔnudrɔ̃lawo, miwɔ abe ɖe miedi be yewoagabia gbe Paulo ene, ale be miabia asrafowo ƒe amegã ne wòakplɔe va takpekpe gã la me. Míawo la, míade xa ɖe mɔa dzi, eye ne wokplɔ Paulo gbɔnae la, míadzo adze edzi, awui.”
Now therfor make ye knowun to the tribune, with the counsel, that he bringe hym forth to you, as if ye schulden knowe sum thing more certeynli of hym; and we ben redi to sle hym, bifor that he come.
16 Ke Paulo ƒe srɔ̃nyi aɖe se woƒe ɖoɖo sia ale wòɖe abla ɖagblɔe na Paulo le mɔ la me.
And whanne the sone of Poulis sister hadde herd the aspies, he cam, and entride in to the castels, and telde to Poul.
17 Paulo yɔ asrafowo dometɔ ɖeka, eye wòbia tso esi be wòakplɔ ɖekakpui la yi asrafoawo ƒe amegã gbɔe, elabena nya aɖe le esi wòdi be yeagblɔ nɛ.
And Poul clepide to hym oon of the centuriens, and seide, Lede this yonge man to the tribune, for he hath sum thing to schewe to hym.
18 Asrafoa kplɔ ɖekakpui la yii abe ale si Paulo gblɔ nɛ ene, eye wògblɔ na asrafoawo ƒe amegã be, “Paulo, gamenɔla la, yɔm va eɖokui gbɔ, eye wòɖe kuku nam be makplɔ ɖekakpui sia va gbɔwò, elabena nya aɖe le esi be wòagblɔ na wò.”
And he took hym, and ledde to the tribune, and seide, Poul, that is boundun, preide me to lede to thee this yonge man, that hath sum thing to speke to thee.
19 Asrafomegã la kplɔ ɖekakpui la ɖe kpɔe hebia gbee be, “Nya ka nèdi be yeagblɔ nam?”
And the tribune took his hoond, and wente with hym asidis half, and axide hym, What thing is it, that thou hast to schewe to me?
20 Paulo ƒe nyruiyɔvi la gblɔ nɛ be, “Etsɔ la, Yudatɔwo aɖo ame ɖe gbɔwò be nàkplɔ Paulo va yewoƒe takpekpe gã la ŋkumee be yewoagabia gbee.
And he seide, The Jewis ben acordid to preye thee, that to morewe thou brynge forth Poul in to the counsel, as if thei schulden enquere sum thing more certeynli of hym.
21 Gake mègawɔe o, elabena Yudatɔ blaene aɣla wo ɖokuiwo ɖe mɔa dzi be ne Paulo va yina la, yewoalée awu. Woka atam na wo ɖokuiwo be, ne Paulo meku o la, yewomaɖu nu alo ano tsi hã o, eya ta wode xa ɖe mɔa dzi fifi laa hã xoxo.”
But bileue thou not to hem; for mo than fourti men of hem aspien hym, which han a vowid, that thei schulen not eete nether drynke, til thei sleen hym; and now thei ben redi, abidinge thi biheest.
22 Asrafowo ƒe amegã la gblɔ na ɖekakpui la be, “Mègana ame aɖeke nanya be èva gblɔ nya sia nam o.” Emegbe la edzo.
Therfor the tribune lefte the yonge man, and comaundide, that he schulde speke to no man, that he hadde maad these thingis knowun to hym.
23 Enumake Asrafomegã la yɔ etevi eve, eye wògblɔ na wo be, “Midzra ɖo miadze Kaesarea mɔ dzi egbe zã ga asiekɛ me.
And he clepide togidre twei centuriens, and he seide to hem, Make ye redi twei hundrid knyytis, that thei go to Cesarie, and horse men seuenti, and spere men twey hundrid, fro the thridde our of the nyyt.
24 Midi sɔ na Paulo wòado ale be miakplɔe aɖade asi na mɔmefia Felix dedie.”
And make ye redy an hors, for Poul to ride on, to lede hym saaf to Felix, the presydent.
25 Eŋlɔ agbalẽ kpe ɖe eŋu ale:

27 Gbe ɖeka la, Yudatɔwo lé ŋutsu sia, eye wonɔ eƒom be yewoawui, ke esi mese be Romatɔ wònye la, meɖo asrafowo ɖa woɖaxɔe le wo si.
This man that was take of the Jewis, and bigan to be slayn, Y cam vpon hem with myn oost, and delyuerede hym fro hem, whanne Y knewe that he was a Romayn.
28 Emegbe la, mekplɔe yi Yudatɔwo ƒe takpekpe gã la me be mase nu si tututu wòwɔ tae wolée ɖo.
And Y wolde wite the cause, which thei puttiden ayens hym; and Y ledde hym to the counsel of hem.
29 Le woƒe nyamedzodzrowo me la, mekpɔ be menye nya gobii aɖeke wotsɔ ɖe eŋu o, ke boŋ nya siwo ku ɖe Yudatɔwo ƒe xɔse kple kɔnuwo ŋu la koe, eye medze be woawui alo adee gaxɔ me kura gɔ̃ hã ɖe nya siawo ƒomevi ta o.
And Y foond, that he was accusid of questiouns of her lawe, but he hadde no cryme worthi the deth, ethir boondis.
30 Ke le esime mese be Yudatɔwo ganɔ ɖoɖo wɔm le bebeme be yewoawui ta la, meɖoe be makplɔe ɖo ɖe wò, eye magblɔ na eƒe futɔwo hã be woava gbɔwò ne nàdrɔ̃ nya la na wo.
And whanne it was teeld me of the aspies, that thei arayden for hym, Y sente hym to thee, and Y warnede also the accuseris, that thei seie at thee. Fare wel.
31 Ale, le zã ma me la, asrafoawo kplɔ Paulo yi va ɖo Antipatre.
And so the knyytis, as thei weren comaundid, token Poul, and ledde hym bi nyyt into Antipatriden.

And in the dai suynge, whanne the horsmen weren left, that schulden go with hym, thei turneden ayen to the castels.
33 Esi wova ɖo Kaesarea la, wotsɔ Paulo de asi na mɔmefia la, eye wotsɔ agbalẽ si Lisia ŋlɔ de wo si la hã nɛ.
And whanne thei camen to Cesarie, thei token the pistle to the president, and thei setten also Poul byfore him.
34 Esi mɔmefiagã la xlẽ agbalẽ la vɔ la, ebia du si me tɔ Paulo nye lae eye Paulo ɖo eŋu be, “Metso Kilikia.”
And whanne he hadde red, and axide, of what prouynce he was, and knewe that he was of Cilicie,
35 Azɔ mɔmefia la gblɔ nɛ be, “Maɖo to wò nyawo katã nenye be nuwòtsolawo va ɖo.” Ale wòɖe gbe be woaɖatui ɖe gaxɔ me le Fia Herod ƒe fiasã me.
Y schal here thee, he seide, whanne thin accuseris comen. And he comaundide hym to be kept in the moot halle of Eroude.
