1 Esi míeklã Efeso hanunɔlawo vɔ la, míedze mɔ tẽe va ɖo Kos. Le ŋkeke evea gbe la, míeva ɖo Rode, eye tso afi ma míeyi Patara.
And when it came to pass that we were parted from them, and had set sail, we came with a straight course unto Cos, and the next day unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:
2 Le Patara la, míeɖo tɔdziʋu aɖe si nɔ Foenisia si le Siria nuto me yim.
and having found a ship crossing over unto Phoenicia, we went aboard, and set sail.
3 Míeto Kipro ƒukpo la ŋu le miame lɔƒo, eye míeva ɖi go ɖe Tiro ʋudzeƒe la le Siria. Ʋu la ɖe agba le afi sia.
And when we had come in sight of Cyprus, leaving it on the left hand, we sailed unto Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.
4 Míawo hã míeɖi tsa yi dua me, eye míedi xɔsetɔ siwo le afi ma la henɔ wo gbɔ kɔsiɖa ɖeka. Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe la ƒo nu to hame sia dzi, ale wogbe na Paulo be megayi Yerusalem o.
And having found the disciples, we tarried there seven days: and these said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not set foot in Jerusalem.
5 Ke esi míaƒe ɣeyiɣi de la, míedzo, eye míeyi míaƒe mɔzɔzɔ dzi. Hame blibo la, nusrɔ̃lawo kple wo srɔ̃wo kple wo viwo siaa va ɖo mí ɖa va se ɖe keke ƒuta, afi si míedo gbe ɖa le.
And when it came to pass that we had accomplished the days, we departed and went on our journey; and they all, with wives and children, brought us on our way, till we were out of the city: and kneeling down on the beach, we prayed,
6 Míedo hedenyuie na wo, ge ɖe tɔdziʋu la me, eye woawo hã trɔ yi aƒe me.
and bade each other farewell; and we went on board the ship, but they returned home again.
7 Tso Tiro la, míeva tɔ ɖe Pitolemia, eye míenɔ afi ma hã ŋkeke ɖeka hesrã hame si le afi ma kpɔ.
And when we had finished the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais; and we saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.
8 Tso afi ma míeyi Kaesarea, eye míedze nyanyuigblɔla Filipo si nye hadzikpɔla gbãtɔ adreawo dometɔ ɖeka la gbɔ.
And on the morrow we departed, and came unto Caesarea: and entering into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, we abode with him.
9 Vinyɔnuvi ene siwo dometɔ aɖeke meɖe srɔ̃ haɖe o la nɔ esi. Mawu na nyagblɔɖi ƒe ŋusẽ wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe.
Now this man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.
10 Míenɔ afi sia ŋkeke geɖewo, eye le ɣeyiɣi sia me la, nyagblɔɖila aɖe si woyɔna be Agabu la tso Yudea nuto me va kpɔ mí ɖa le Filipo gbɔ.
And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.
11 Agabu tsɔ Paulo ƒe alidziblaka, eye wòbla eya ŋutɔ ƒe asiwo kple afɔwo hegblɔ be, “Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe la be, ‘Alea tututu Yudatɔwo awɔ ame si tɔe nye alidziblanu sia la le Yerusalem, eye woatsɔe ade asi na ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o.’”
And coming to us, and taking Paul’s girdle, he bound his own feet and hands, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
12 Esi míese nya sia la, mí Paulo ŋumewo kple dua me kristotɔwo katã míeɖe kuku na Paulo be megayi Yerusalem o.
And when we heard these things, both we and they of that place besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
13 Ke Paulo ɖo eŋu na mí be, “Midzudzɔ avifafa, elabena miele dzi gbãm nam. Mele klalo be manɔ gaxɔ me le Yerusalem, eye gawu la, maku le nye Aƒetɔ Yesu ta.”
Then Paul answered, What do ye, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
14 Esi míekpɔe be Paulo ɖoe kplikpaa be yeayi Yerusalem la, míeɖe asi le nya la ŋu, eye míetsɔe de asi na Mawu be wòawɔ eƒe lɔlɔ̃nu.
And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

And after these days we took up our baggage, and went up to Jerusalem.
16 Nusrɔ̃la aɖewo tso Kaesarea kplɔ mí ɖo, eye esi míeva ɖo Yerusalem la, míedze xɔsetɔwo dometɔ ɖeka si ŋkɔe nye Mnason, ame si nye xɔsetɔ xoxoawo dometɔ ɖeka si tso Kipro la ƒe aƒe me.
And there went with us also [certain] of the disciples from Caesarea, bringing [with them] one Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we should lodge.
17 Esi míeɖo Yerusalem la, xɔsetɔ siwo le dua me la xɔ mí nyuie ŋutɔ.
And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.
18 Ke ŋkeke evea gbe la, Paulo kplɔ mí ɖe asi, eye míeɖado gbe na Yakobo kple hamemegã siwo le Yerusalem hamea me.
And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.
19 Esi míelɔ̃ gbe vɔ la, Paulo gblɔ ale si Mawu wɔ dɔ le ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o domee to eya Paulo ƒe dɔwɔwɔ me la na wo.
And when he had saluted them, he rehearsed one by one the things which God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.
20 Hamemegãwo katã kpɔ dzidzɔ, kafu Mawu, ke wogblɔ na Paulo be, “Yudatɔ geɖewo hã zu Kristotɔwo gake woƒe ɖoɖoe nye be ele be Yudatɔ xɔsetɔ ɖe sia ɖe nagawɔ ɖe Yudatɔwo ƒe sewo dzi pɛpɛpɛ.
And they, when they heard it, glorified God; and they said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of them which have believed; and they are all zealous for the law:
21 Yudatɔ Kristotɔ siwo le Yerusalem afi sia la se be wò la, èfia nu Yudatɔ siwo katã le ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o la dome be woagbe nu le Mose ƒe sewo gbɔ, eye mele be woatso aʋa na wo viwo o.
and they have been informed concerning thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
22 Ke fifia ɖe, aleke míele nya sia lé gee? Godoo la, woasee be èva ɖo dua me.
What is it therefore? they will certainly hear that thou art come.
23 “Nu si míedi be nàwɔe nye esi, ame ene aɖewo le mía dome siwo le dzadzram ɖo be yewoalũ ta, aɖe adzɔgbe le sea nu,
Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;
24 eya ta míadi be wò hã nàkplɔ wo ɖo ayi gbedoxɔ la me, eye nàlũ ta. Hekpe ɖe esia ŋu la, nàxe fe ɖe ame ene siawo ƒe kɔnuwɔwɔ hã ta. Ne èwɔ esia la, ekema ame sia ame adze sii be nya siwo yewose le ŋuwò la mele eme nenema o. Ke boŋ wò ŋutɔ èzɔna nyuie, eye nèléa se la me ɖe asi.
these take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges for them, that they may shave their heads: and all shall know that there is no truth in the things whereof they have been informed concerning thee; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, keeping the law.
25 “Ke le ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o siwo xɔ se la, ame aɖeke mele gbɔgblɔm be woawo hã nawɔ ɖe Yudatɔwo ƒe kɔnuwo dzi o, negbe nu siwo míeŋlɔ ɖo ɖe wo xoxo be woadzudzɔ nu siwo wotsɔ sa vɔe na trɔ̃wo kple lã tsiʋumewo ɖuɖu, eye womegawɔ matre o.”
But as touching the Gentiles which have believed, we wrote, giving judgment that they should keep themselves from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication.
26 Paulo lɔ̃ ɖe woƒe nya sia dzi, eye wòdze ameawo yome woyi ɖakɔ wo ɖokuiwo ŋu. Emegbe eyi ɖe gbedoxɔ la me, hele ŋutikɔkɔ ŋkekeawo gblɔm fia wo, va se ɖe esime woame nu ɖe wo dome ame sia ame ta.
Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them went into the temple, declaring the fulfillment of the days of purification, until the offering was offered for every one of them.
27 Ke esi wòsusɔ vie ŋkeke adrea nade la, Yudatɔ aɖewo tso Asia nuto me va Yerusalem, eye wokpɔ Paulo le gbedoxɔ la me. Enumake wode ʋunyanya amewo dome ɖe eŋu, eye wolé Paulo henɔ ɣli dom ɖe eŋu be,
And when the seven days were almost completed, the Jews from Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the multitude, and laid hands on him,
28 “Israelviwo, mixɔ na mí loo! Ame siae tsi tsitre ɖe Yudatɔwo ŋu, eye wònɔ gbɔgblɔm na amewo be womegawɔ ɖe Yudatɔwo ƒe sewo dzi o. Gawu la, edo vlo míaƒe gbedoxɔ la hã, eye wòkplɔ Helatɔwo yi míaƒe gbedoxɔ mee be yeaɖi gbɔ̃ teƒe kɔkɔe sia.”
crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place: and moreover he brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath defiled this holy place.
29 (Wogblɔ esia, elabena wokpɔ Paulo wònɔ zɔzɔm kple Trofimo si tso Efeso le Terki la, le ablɔ dzi, eya ta wosusu be Paulo kplɔe yi gbedoxɔ la mee.)
For they had before seen with him in the city Trophimus the Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.
30 Zitɔtɔ gã aɖe dzɔ le dua me le nya sia ta, eye wolé Paulo, hee do goe le gbedoxɔ la me hedo ʋɔa.
And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they laid hold on Paul, and dragged him out of the temple: and straightway the doors were shut.
31 Esi wobe yewoawui ko la, ame aɖe yi ɖagblɔ na Romasrafowo ƒe amegã be ʋunyaʋunya gã aɖe le edzi yim le Yerusalem dua me.
And as they were seeking to kill him, tidings came up to the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in confusion.
32 Asrafomegã la ɖe eƒe asrafo aɖewo ɖo ɖa be woaɖatsi ʋunyaʋunya la nu. Esi amehawo kpɔ asrafoawo wogbɔna ko la, wodzudzɔ Paulo ƒoƒo.
And forthwith he took soldiers and centurions, and ran down upon them: and they, when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, left off beating Paul.
33 Asrafoawo ƒe amegã la na wolé Paulo, eye woblae sesĩe kple gakɔsɔkɔsɔ. Azɔ etrɔ ɖe ameha la gbɔ, eye wòbia ame si Paulo nye kple nu vɔ̃ si wòwɔ la wo.
Then the chief captain came near, and laid hold on him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and inquired who he was, and what he had done.
34 Ame aɖeke mete ŋu na ŋuɖoɖo gobii aɖeke o, elabena ame sia ame nɔ ɣli dom nɔ nya si dze eŋu la gblɔm. Le esia ta la, asrafowo ƒe amegã la ɖe gbe be woakplɔ Paulo yi ɖe asrafowo ƒe nɔƒee.
And some shouted one thing, some another, among the crowd: and when he could not know the certainty for the uproar, he commanded him to be brought into the castle.
35 Esi wova afi ma henɔ atrakpuiawo liam la, ameha la galũ ɖe wo dzi kple adã. Esia na be asrafoawo kɔ Paulo ɖe abɔta be woƒe asi nagakae o.
And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the crowd;
36 Ke hã ameawo nɔ ɣli dom le wo yome sesĩe be, “Miwui! Miwui!”
for the multitude of the people followed after, crying out, Away with him.
37 Esi wova ɖo gaxɔa ƒe mɔnu la, Paulo gblɔ na asrafoawo ƒe amegã le Helagbe me be, “Amegã, magblɔ nya aɖe na wò.” Ewɔ nuku na asrafoa ŋutɔ be Paulo gblɔ Helagbe, ale wòbiae be, “Ɖe nèse Helagbea?
And as Paul was about to be brought into the castle, he saith unto the chief captain, May I say something unto thee? And he said, Dost thou know Greek?
38 Alo menye wòe nye Egiptetɔ ma si de zitɔtɔ amewo me abe ƒe ɖeka alo eve aɖewoe nye esi va yi ene, eye nèkplɔ amewulawo abe akpe ene sɔŋ ene woɖabe ɖe gbegbe aɖe oa?”
Art thou not then the Egyptian, which before these days stirred up to sedition and led out into the wilderness the four thousand men of the Assassins?
39 Paulo ɖo eŋu be, “Ao, nye la, Yudatɔ menye tso Tarso le Kilikia nuto me. Du sia nye du xɔŋkɔ aɖe. Meɖe kuku na wò, ɖe mɔ nam maƒo nu na ameha la.”
But Paul said, I am a Jew, of Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and I beseech thee, give me leave to speak unto the people.
40 Asrafowo ƒe amegã la lɔ̃ ɖe Paulo ƒe biabia la dzi, ale Paulo tsi tsitre ɖe atrakpui la dzi hekɔ asi dzi na ameha la, eye ɖoɖoe gã aɖe zi enumake. Azɔ eƒo nu na wo le Hebrigbe me be:
And when he had given him leave, Paul, standing on the stairs, beckoned with the hand unto the people; and when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew language, saying,
