< Dɔwɔwɔwo 15 >

1 Le ɣeyiɣi si me Paulo kple Barnabas wonɔ Antioxia la, ame aɖewo tso Yudea va Antioxia dua me. Ame siawo va nɔ nu fiam xɔsetɔawo be ehiã vevie be woatso aʋa na wo ɖe Mose ƒe kɔnuwo nu hafi woakpɔ ɖeɖe.
And certain men came down from Judæa and taught the brethren, [saying], Except ye be circumcised after the custom of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2 Paulo kple Barnabas melɔ̃ ɖe nya sia dzi kura o, ale wohe nya kple ame siawo vevie. Mlɔeba la, Antioxia Hame la ɖe hametɔ aɖewo kpe ɖe Paulo kple Barnabas ŋu heɖo wo ɖe Yerusalem be woaɖadzro nya sia me kple Apostoloawo kple hamemegãwo, anya woƒe susu le eŋu ava gblɔ na yewo.
And when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and questioning with them, [the brethren] appointed that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
3 Hametɔwo katã yi ɖaɖo ame dɔdɔawo ɖa va se ɖe Antioxia dua godo, eye woyi woƒe mɔzɔzɔ dzi. Le mɔa dzi la, ame dɔdɔawo tɔ ɖe Foenisia kple Samaria, du siwo le mɔa dzi la me, eye wogblɔ ale si Mawu le dɔ wɔm le ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o dome la na xɔsetɔ siwo le afi ma. Nya sia do dzidzɔ blibo na ame sia ame si see.
They therefore, being brought on their way by the church, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
4 Esi ame dɔdɔawo va ɖo Yerusalem la, hamea kple apostoloawo kpakple hamemegãwo xɔ wo, eye woka nu siwo katã Mawu wɔ kpli wo la ta na wo.
And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church and the apostles and the elders, and they rehearsed all things that God had done with them.
5 Ke ame siwo nye Farisitɔwo tsã hafi trɔ zu Kristotɔwo la tsi tsitre, eye wogblɔ be, “Ele be woatso aʋa na ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o, siwo trɔ zu xɔsetɔwo la katã, eye woawɔ ɖe Mose ƒe sewo dzi.”
But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees who believed, saying, It is needful to circumcise them, and to charge them to keep the law of Moses.
6 Ke apostolowo kple hamemegãwo ɖe kpɔ hedzro biabia sia me nyuie.
And the apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider of this matter.
7 Le nyamedzodzro geɖe megbe la, Petro tsi tsitre gblɔ na wo be, “Nɔvinyewo, miawo ŋutɔ mienya be anɔ abe ƒe aɖewoe nye esi va yi ene la, Mawu tiam le mia dome, eye wòdɔm ɖa be magblɔ nyanyui la na ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o, ale be woawo hã woaxɔ se.
And when there had been much questioning, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know that a good while ago God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
8 Mawu si nya amegbetɔ ɖe sia ɖe ƒe dzi me la xɔ wo hena Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe la wo abe ale si wòna míawo hã ene.
And God, who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us;
9 Mede vovototo aɖeke mí kple woawo dome o, elabena eɖe woƒe nu vɔ̃wo ɖa to xɔse me abe míawo ke ene.
and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
10 Ke nɔvinyewo, nu ka ta miedi be miate Mawu kpɔ adi be yewoatsɔ agba kpekpe si míawo ŋutɔ kple mía tɔgbuitɔgbuiwo mete ŋu tsɔ o la ada ɖe wo dzi be woatsɔ mahã?
Now therefore why make ye trial of God, that ye should put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
11 Ao, míexɔe se to mía Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ƒe amenuveve me, eye esia me míekpɔ xɔxɔ abe woawo ke ene le.”
But we believe that we shall be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in like manner as they.
Esia na mɔnukpɔkpɔ Paulo kple Barnabas be wogblɔ nukunu kple dzesi gã siwo Mawu wɔ to wo dzi le ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o dome la na wo.
And all the multitude kept silence; and they hearkened unto Barnabas and Paul rehearsing what signs and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles through them.
13 Esi woƒo nu vɔ la, Yakobo hã tsi tsitre ƒo nu gblɔ be, “Nɔviwo, miɖo tom.
And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Brethren, hearken unto me:
14 Simɔn gblɔ ale si Mawu ŋutɔ tia amewo tso ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o dome be woasubɔ ye la na mi.
Symeon hath rehearsed how first God visited the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
After these things I will return, And I will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen; And I will build again the ruins thereof, And I will set it up:
17 ale be ame mamlɛawo adi Aƒetɔ la ƒe mɔ kple ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o siwo ŋu woyɔ nye ŋkɔ ɖo la. Aƒetɔ la, ame si wɔa nu siawo katã lae gblɔe.’
That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, And all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called,
18 Esiwo le nyanya me nɛ tso blema ke. (aiōn g165)
Saith the Lord, who maketh these things known from of old. (aiōn g165)
19 “Esia ta nye nyametsotsoe nye be mehiã be míaɖe fu na ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o, eye wole tɔtrɔm ɖe Mawu ŋu la o.
Wherefore my judgment is, that we trouble not them that from among the Gentiles turn to God;
20 Ke ɖeko míaŋlɔ na wo be woadzudzɔ lã siwo wotsɔ sa vɔe na trɔ̃wo kple lã siwo tsi ʋu me la ɖuɖu, eye hekpe ɖe esiawo ŋu la, woadzudzɔ ahasiwɔwɔ.
but that we write unto them, that they abstain from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood.
For Moses from generations of old hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath.
Wotia Yuda (si wogayɔna be Barsaba) kple Silas, ame siwo nye amegãwo le hamea me.
Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; [namely], Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
23 Woŋlɔ agbalẽ de ame dɔdɔawo si, eye emenyawo yi ale: Mía nɔvi siwo menye Yudatɔwo o siwo trɔ zu xɔsetɔwo le Antioxia, Siria kple Kilikia, Mixɔ gbedoname tso. Apostolowo, hamemegãwo kple mia nɔvi siwo le Yerusalem la gbɔ.
and they wrote [thus] by them, The apostles and the elders, brethren, unto the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greeting:
24 Míese be xɔsetɔ aɖewo, siwo tso mía gbɔ le afi sia la va mia dome, eye wova gblɔ nya aɖewo, siwo ɖe fu na miaƒe susu, eye woʋuʋu miaƒe xɔse kple ɖeɖekpɔkpɔ. Míedi be mianya be menye míawoe dɔ ame siawo ɖo ɖe mi o.
Forasmuch as we have heard that certain who went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls; to whom we gave no commandment;
25 Ke esi míawo hã míebu nya la ŋu, eye mí katã míeɖo kpe nu si nye nyateƒea dzi vɔ la, míeɖoe be anye susu nyui aɖe ŋutɔ be míaɖe ame dɔdɔ eve siwo akplɔ mía nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, Paulo kple Barnabas, ɖo ava mia gbɔ.
it seemed good unto us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
26 Ame dɔdɔ eve siawoe nye Yuda kple Sila, ame siwo tsɔ woƒe agbe ke faa na míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo.
men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 Azɔ míedɔ Yuda kple Silas ɖa, ame siawo aƒo nu, aɖo kpe nu si nye míaƒe susu le nya siwo le fu ɖem na miaƒe susuwo la dzi na mi.
We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves also shall tell you the same things by word of mouth.
28 Míekpɔe dze sii be enyo Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe la kple míawo hã ŋu be, menyo be míatsɔ agba gã aɖeke ada ɖe mia dzi wu nu vevi siawo ko o,
For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
29 be miatsri trɔ̃wo ƒe vɔsawo kple ʋu kple lã tsiʋumewo ɖuɖu, eye miatsri ahasiwɔwɔ hã.
that ye abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which if ye keep yourselves, it shall be well with you. Fare ye well.
30 Ame dɔdɔ eneawo dze mɔ ɖo ta Antioxia enumake.
So they, when they were dismissed, came down to Antioch; and having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle.
31 Esi woxlẽ agbalẽ la, eye wose emenyawo la, hame la katã kpɔ dzidzɔ manyagblɔ aɖe.
And when they had read it, they rejoiced for the consolation.
And Judas and Silas, being themselves also prophets, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
33 Wonɔ Antioxia ŋkeke geɖe hafi wodo mɔ wo kple dzidzɔgbedoname tso Antioxia Hame gbɔ vɛ na Yerusalem hame si dɔ wo. [
And after they had spent some time [there], they were dismissed in peace from the brethren unto those that had sent them forth.
34 Ke enyo Sila ŋu be yeatsi afi ma.]
But Paul and Barnabas tarried in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
36 Le ŋkeke aɖewo megbe la, Paulo doe ɖe Barnabas gbɔ be, “Na míatrɔ ayi aɖakpɔ nɔvi siwo le du siwo me míegblɔ Aƒetɔ la ƒe nya la le la, akpɔ ale si wole zɔzɔmee la ɖa.”
And after some days Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city wherein we proclaimed the word of the Lord, [and see] how they fare.
37 Barnabas lɔ̃, ke edi be yewoakplɔ Yohanes si woyɔna be Marko la akpe ɖe yewo ɖokui ŋu.
And Barnabas was minded to take with them John also, who was called Mark.
38 Ke le ale si Marko gblẽ wo ɖi le Pamfilia, eye meyi dɔa dzi kple wo o ta la, Paulo mebui be enyo be wòagayi kpli yewo o.
But Paul thought not good to take with them him who withdrew from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
39 Nu sia he masɔmasɔ de Paul kple Barnabas dome ale gbegbe be wo dome ma. Barnabas kplɔ Marko ɖe asi, eye woɖo tɔdziʋu yi Kipro.
And there arose a sharp contention, so that they parted asunder one from the other, and Barnabas took Mark with him, and sailed away unto Cyprus:
40 Ke Paulo hã kplɔ Silas kpe ɖe eɖokui ŋu, eye nɔviawo tsɔ wo de asi na Aƒetɔ la ƒe amenuveve.
but Paul chose Silas, and went forth, being commended by the brethren to the grace of the Lord.
41 Woto Siria kple Kilikia nutowo me henɔ ŋusẽ dom hame siwo le afi mawo.
And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
