And it came to passe in Iconium, that they went both together into the Synagogue of the Iewes, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Iewes and of the Grecians beleeued.
2 Ke Yudatɔ siwo medina be yewoaxɔ Mawu ƒe ɖeɖenya sia dzi ase o la, gblɔ nya baɖa ƒomevi geɖewo ɖe wo nɔviawo ŋu. Wowɔ esia be ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o la nagaxɔ woƒe nyawo dzi ase o.
And the vnbeleeuing Iewes stirred vp, and corrupted the mindes of the Gentiles against the brethren.
3 Esia hã meɖe dzi le Paulo kple Barnabas ƒo kura o, ke boŋ wonɔ dua me hegblɔ amenuvevenya kple dzideƒo ɣeyiɣi didi aɖe. Aƒetɔ la na ŋusẽ wo wowɔ nukunu kple dzesi geɖewo be yewoafia kɔtɛe be eƒe nya la kakam yewole vavã.
So therefore they abode there a long time, and spake boldly in the Lord, which gaue testimonie vnto the woord of his grace, and caused signes and woders to be done by their hands.
4 Dua me tɔwo ma ɖe akpa eve, ɖewo nɔ Yudatɔwo ƒe dumegãwo yome eye ɖewo hã nɔ apostoloawo yome.
But the multitude of the city was deuided: and some were with the Iewes, and some with the Apostles.
5 Ke ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o, kpakple Yudatɔwo kple woƒe dumegãwo wɔ ɖoɖo be yewoadze Paulo kple Barnabas dzi aƒu kpe wo, awɔ nu vevi wo.
And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and of the Iewes with their rulers, to doe them violence, and to stone them,
6 Esi Apostoloawo se nya sia la, wosi dzo le dua me heyi Likaonia ƒe duwo, Listra kple Derbe nutowo me,
They were ware of it, and fled vnto Lystra, and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and vnto the region round about,
And there preached the Gospel.
8 Le Listra la, ŋutsu aɖe le anyinɔƒe, ame si metea ŋu tsia tsitre o, eye wònye tekunɔ tso dadaa ƒe dɔ me ke; mezɔ azɔli kpɔ o.
Nowe there sate a certaine man at Lystra, impotent in his feete, which was a creeple from his mothers wombe, who had neuer walked.
9 Ame sia ɖo to Paulo esi wònɔ nu ƒom na ameawo. Paulo li ŋku ɖe edzi gãa, eye wòkpɔ be xɔse le esi na dɔyɔyɔ,
He heard Paul speake: who beholding him, and perceiuing that he had faith to be healed,
10 eya ta Paulo yɔe gblɔ be, “Tsi tsitre!” Le gbeɖeɖe sia nu la, ŋutsu la ti kpo, eye wòde asi azɔlizɔzɔ me.
Said with a loude voyce, Stand vpright on thy feete. And he leaped vp, and walked.
11 Esi ameha la kpɔ nukunu si Paulo wɔ la, wodo ɣli le Likaoniagbe me be “Mawuawo ɖi va mía gbɔ le amegbetɔ ƒe nɔnɔme me!”
Then when the people sawe what Paul had done, they lift vp their voyces, saying in ye speach of Lycaonia, Gods are come downe to vs in the likenesse of men.
12 Le woƒe nuwɔnawo ta la, wona ŋkɔ Barnabas be Zeus, eye woyɔ Paulo be Hermes, elabena eyae nye ame si nɔ nu ƒom geɖe wu.
And they called Barnabas, Iupiter: and Paul, Mercurius, because hee was the chiefe speaker.
Then Iupiters priest, which was before their citie, brought bulles with garlands vnto the gates, and would haue sacrificed with the people.
14 Ke esi apostoloawo, Barnabas kple Paulo see la, wodze woƒe awuwo, eye woƒu du ge ɖe ameawo dome eye wodo ɣli gblɔ na wo be,
But when the Apostles, Barnabas and Paul heard it, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying,
15 “Mía tɔwo, nu kae nye busunu sia wɔm miele? Míawo hã amegbetɔwo ko míenye abe miawo ke ene. Ɖe míeva be míagblɔ nyanyui sia na mi be miadzudzɔ nu maɖinu siawo tɔgbi subɔsubɔ, eye miado gbe ɖa na Mawu gbagbe si wɔ dziƒo kple anyigba kple atsiaƒu kple nu siwo katã le eme la boŋ.
And saying, O men, why doe yee these things? We are euen men subiect to the like passions that yee be, and preache vnto you, that yee shoulde turne from these vaine things vnto the liuing God, which made heauen and earth, and the sea, and all things that in them are:
16 Tsã la, Mawu ɖe asi le dukɔ ɖe sia ɖe ŋu wòwɔ nu si dze eŋu.
Who in times past suffered all the Gentiles to walke in their owne waies.
17 Ke hã la, medzudzɔ ɖaseɖiɖi tso eɖokui ŋuti o, elabena ewɔa nu nyuiwo na mí; enaa tsidzadza mí tso dziƒo kple nuƒãɣiwo kpakple nuŋeɣiwo, eye wòna nuɖuɖu geɖe mí hetsɔ dzidzɔ yɔ míaƒe dziwo me fũu.”
Neuerthelesse, hee left not him selfe without witnes, in that hee did good and gaue vs raine from heauen, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with foode, and gladnesse.
18 Togbɔ be woɖe nya me na ameawo alea hã la, esesẽ hafi wozi wo dzi be womete ŋu sa vɔ la na wo o.
And speaking these things, scarce appeased they the multitude, that they had not sacrificed vnto them.
19 Ke le ŋkeke ʋɛ aɖewo megbe la, Yudatɔ aɖewo gatso Antioxia kple Ikonio va do ɖe Listra, eye wogade ʋunyaʋunya dua me tɔwo me ɖe Paulo ŋu. Amehawo ho ɖe Paulo ŋu, ƒu kpee va se ɖe esime wòku ƒenyi, eye wohee do goe le dua me, elabena wobu be eku.
Then there came certaine Iewes from Antiochia and Iconium, which when they had persuaded the people, stoned Paul, and drewe him out of the citie, supposing he had bene dead.
20 Xɔsetɔwo kple nɔvinɔviwo va ƒo ƒu ɖe eŋu kasia, Paulo fɔ, wo katã wotrɔ yi Listra dua me, eye le ŋkeke evea gbe la, wo kple Barnabas wodzo yi Derbe.
Howbeit, as the disciples stoode rounde about him, hee arose vp, and came into the citie, and the next day hee departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
And after they had preached the glad tidings of the Gospel to that citie, and had taught many, they returned to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antiochia,
22 eye wodo ŋusẽ xɔsetɔwo be woalé xɔse me ɖe asi. Wode dzi ƒo na xɔsetɔawo be, “Ele na mí be míato fukpekpe geɖewo me hafi age ɖe mawufiaɖuƒe la me.”
Confirming the disciples hearts, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, affirming that we must through many afflictions enter into the kingdome of God.
And when they had ordeined them Elders by election in euery Church, and prayed, and fasted, they commended them to the Lord in whome they beleeued.
24 Azɔ woyi woƒe mɔzɔzɔ dzi to Pisidia nuto me va ɖo Pamfilia alo Terki.
Thus they went throughout Pisidia, and came to Pamphylia.
25 Wogagblɔ nya le Perga hã hafi tso eme yi Atalia.
And when they had preached the woorde in Perga, they came downe to Attalia,
And thence sailed to Antiochia, from whence they had bene comended vnto the grace of God, to the woorke, which they had fulfilled.
27 Esi wogbɔ va ɖo Antioxia la, woyɔ xɔsetɔawo katã ƒo ƒu hegblɔ nu gã siwo Mawu wɔ kpli wo la na wo. Wogblɔ ale si Mawu ʋu xɔse ƒe mɔ na ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o la hã na ameawo.
And when they were come and had gathered the Church together, they rehearsed all the things that God had done by them, and howe he had opened the doore of faith vnto the Gentiles.
28 Paulo kple Barnabas tsi Antioxia henɔ xɔsetɔawo gbɔ ɣeyiɣi didi aɖe.
So there they abode a long time with the disciples.
