< Timoteo 2 3 >

1 Wò ŋku nenɔ esia dzi be ɣeyiɣi vɔ̃wo ava le ŋkeke mamlɛawo me.
Be sure of this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 Amewo anye ɖokuilɔ̃lawo, galɔ̃lawo, adegbe ƒuƒlu ƒolawo, dadalawo, amedzulawo, ame siwo meɖoa to wo dzilawo o, akpemadalawo, ame makɔmakɔwo,
People will be selfish, mercenary, boastful, haughty, and blasphemous; disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, impure,
3 amemalɔ̃lawo, ame siwo metsɔa nu vɔ̃ kena o, ameŋugblẽlawo, ɖokuidzimaɖulawo, ŋutasẽlawo, ame siwo léa fu nu nyui,
incapable of affection, merciless, slanderous, wanting in self-control, brutal, careless of the right,
4 amegɔmezɔlawo, dzimagbɔɖitɔwo, ɖokuiŋudzelawo, ame siwo lɔ̃a xexemedzidzɔ wu Mawu,
treacherous, reckless, and puffed up with pride; they will love pleasure more than they love God;
5 ame siwo si gotagome ƒe mawuvɔvɔ̃ le, evɔ wogbe nu le ŋusẽ si ana be woanɔ agbe le Mawu me la gbɔ. Te ɖokuiwò ɖa xaa tso ame siawo gbɔ.
and while they retain the outward form of religion, they will not allow it to influence them. Turn your back on such people as these.
6 Woawoe nye ame siwo yia ame bubuwo ƒe aƒewo me le adzame, eye wowɔa xɔlɔ̃ kple nyɔnu abunɛtɔ siwo me nu vɔ̃ xɔ aƒe ɖo la, eye wofiaa woƒe xɔse yeye la wo.
For among them are to be found those who creep into homes and captivate weak women – women who, loaded with sins, and slaves to all kinds of passions,
7 Nyɔnu siawo tɔgbi dzea nufiala yeyewo yome ɣe sia ɣi, ke womesea nyateƒe la gɔme ɣe aɖeke ɣi o.
are always learning, and yet never able to attain to a real knowledge of the truth.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these people, in their turn, oppose the truth. Their minds are corrupted, and, as regards the faith, they are utterly worthless.
9 Ke womanɔ edzi alea tegbee o. Gbe ɖeka la, amewo katã ava nya woƒe amebeble abe ale si amewo va nya Yane kple Yambre ƒe nu vɔ̃ ene.
They will not, however, make further progress; for their wicked folly will be plain to everyone, just as the folly Jannes and Jambres was.
10 Ke ènya to ŋkuléle ɖe ŋunye me be nyemenye ame siawo tɔgbi o. Ènya nu si dzi mexɔ se, ale si menɔa agbee kple nu si dim mele. Ènya nye Kristo dzixɔse kple nye fukpekpewo. Ènya nu tso ale si melɔ̃ wò kple nye dzidodo ŋu.
But you, Timothy, were a close observer of my teaching, my conduct, my purposes, my faith, my forbearance, my love, and my patient endurance,
as well as of my persecutions, and of the sufferings which I met with at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. You know what persecutions I underwent; and yet the Lord brought me safe out of all!
12 Ɛ̃, ame siwo ɖo be yewoadze Kristo Yesu ŋu to agbenɔnɔ le mawuvɔvɔ̃ me me la akpe fu le ame siwo lé fui la ƒe asi me.
Yes, and all who aim at living a religious life in union with Christ Jesus will have to suffer persecution;
13 Le nyateƒe me la, ame vɔ̃ɖiwo kple aʋatsonufialawo ƒe vɔɖivɔ̃ɖi anɔ sesẽm ɖe edzi wu, eye woanɔ ame geɖewo blem abe ale si Satana ble woawo ŋutɔ hã ene.
but wicked people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and deceived themselves.
14 Ke ele na wò be nàlé nu siwo wofia wò la dzixɔse me ɖe asi. Ènya be nu siawo nye nyateƒe, elabena ènya be yeate ŋu axɔ mí ame siwo fia nu siawo wò la dzi ase.
You, however, must stand by what you learnt and accepted as true. You know who they were from whom you learnt it;
15 Ènya ale si, esi nènye ɖevi sue la, wofia Ŋɔŋlɔ Kɔkɔe la wò, nu siawo na nèdze nunya be nàkpɔ Mawu ƒe ɖeɖe to Kristo Yesu dzixɔse me.
and that, from your childhood, you have known the sacred writings, which can give you the wisdom that, through belief in Christ Jesus, leads to salvation.
16 Mawu tsɔ eƒe nya la na mí to eƒe Gbɔgbɔ si wɔ dɔ le amewo me la dzi, eya ta Biblia nyo hena nufiafia tso nu siwo nye nyateƒe la ŋu kple ale si wòana míadze si nu siwo nye nu vɔ̃ le míaƒe agbenɔnɔ me. Edaa mí ɖe mɔ dzɔdzɔe dzi, eye wòkpena ɖe mía ŋu be míawɔ nu si nyo, eye wòdze.
All scripture is God-breathed: helpful for teaching, for refuting error, for giving guidance, and for training others in righteousness;
17 Eyae nye Mawu ƒe mɔ si dzraa mí ɖo nyuie le go sia go me hena nyuiwɔwɔ na ame sia ame.
so that God’s people may be capable and equipped for good work of every kind.
