< Tesalonikatɔwo 2 3 >

1 Mlɔeba la, nɔvi lɔlɔ̃tɔwo, mabia tso mia si be miado gbe ɖa ɖe mía ta. Mido gbe ɖa gbã be Aƒetɔ la ƒe nya la nakaka ɖe afi sia afi kaba, eye wòakpɔ dziɖuɖu le afi sia afi si wòkaka ɖo, ale be wòaɖe ame geɖewo abe ale si wòdzɔe esi míeva mia gbɔ la ene.
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you,
2 Mido gbe ɖa hã be míado go le ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe asi me, elabena menye ame sia ame si xɔse la le o.
and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.
3 Aƒetɔ la, nuteƒewɔla wònye, eya ta ado ŋusẽ mi, eye wòakpɔ mia ta tso vɔ̃ɖitɔ ƒe fuwɔame ɖe sia ɖe me.
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
4 Míeka ɖe edzi le Aƒetɔ la me be miele nu siwo míefia mi la dzi wɔm, eye menye zi ɖeka ko o, ke boŋ ɣe sia ɣi.
We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.
5 Aƒetɔ la atrɔ miaƒe dziwo aɖo ta Mawu ƒe lɔlɔ̃ kple Kristo ƒe dzidodo la gbɔ.
May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and into the perseverance of Christ.
6 Nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, míele se sia dem na mi le míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ƒe ŋkɔ me be: Abe ale si míefia mi be miawɔ ene la, migade ha kple nɔvi si nɔa anyi kuviatɔe gbe sia gbe, eye mewɔa dɔ aɖeke o la o.
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion and not after the tradition which they received from us.
7 Elabena miawo ŋutɔ mienya ale si wòle be miadze míaƒe kpɔɖeŋu yomee. Esi míenɔ mia dome la, míenɔ anyi kuviatɔe
For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we did not behave ourselves rebelliously among you,
8 alo ɖu ame aɖeke ƒe nu femaxee o, ke boŋ míewɔ dɔ zã kple keli. Míedze agbagba, ku kutri be míaganye agba na mia dometɔ aɖeke o.
neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you.
9 Míewɔ esia menye esi míate ŋu abia kpekpeɖeŋu ma tɔgbi mi ta o, ke boŋ be míatsɔ mía ɖokuiwo aɖo kpɔɖeŋu na mi be miadze eyome.
This was not because we do not have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.
10 Elabena esi míenɔ mia gbɔ gɔ̃ hã la, míede se sia na mi be, “Ame si medi be yeawɔ dɔ o la, megaɖu nu hã o.”
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, do not let him eat.”
11 Gake míese be mia dometɔ aɖewo le kuvia wɔm, wogbe be yewomawɔ dɔ aɖeke o, eye wogblẽa woƒe ɣeyiɣi ɖe amenyagbɔgblɔ ŋu.
For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who do not work at all, but are busybodies.
12 Míele kuku ɖem na ame mawo katã, eye míele gbe ɖem na wo hã le Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ƒe ŋkɔ me be woadze kɔ anyi, awɔ dɔ atsɔ akpɔ wo ɖokuiwo dzii.
Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.
13 Hena nɔvi lɔlɔ̃ mamlɛawo la, mele nu xlɔ̃m mi be ɖeɖi megate mia ŋuti le nu nyui wɔwɔ me o.
But you, brothers, do not be weary in doing what is right.
14 Nenye be ame aɖe gbe be yemawɔ ɖe nu siwo míegblɔ ɖe agbalẽ sia me dzi o la, milé ŋku ɖe eŋuti, eye migade ha kplii o, ale be ŋu nakpee.
If any man does not obey our word in this letter, note that man and have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
15 Ke migabui be enye miaƒe futɔ o, ke boŋ miƒo nu nɛ abe nɔvi si hiã nuxlɔ̃ame ene.
Do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16 Ŋutifafa ƒe Aƒetɔ la ŋutɔ nana eƒe ŋutifafa mi ɣe sia ɣi le nu sia nu me. Aƒetɔ la nanɔ anyi kpli mi katã.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
17 Azɔ esia nye nye Paulo ŋutɔ nye gbedoname si meŋlɔ kple nye ŋutɔ nye asi, abe ale si mewɔnɛ le nye agbalẽwo katã ƒe nuwuwu la ene, be wòanye kpeɖodzi na mi be agbalẽ la tso nye ŋutɔ gbɔnye. Esia nye nye ŋutɔ nye asinuŋɔŋlɔ.
I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand, which is the sign in every letter. This is how I write.
18 Míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ƒe yayra nanɔ mi katã mia dzi.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
