< Samuel 2 22 >

1 David dzi ha sia na Yehowa le esime wòɖee tso Saul kple eƒe futɔ bubuawo ƒe asi me.
And David spake unto Yahweh, the words of this song, in the day when Yahweh had rescued him, out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul;
2 Egblɔ be: “Yehowae nye nye agakpe, nye mɔ kple nye xɔnametɔ.
and he said, —Yahweh, was my mountain crag and my stronghold, and my deliverer—mine;
3 Nye Mawu nye nye agakpe, eyae mesi tso, nye akpoxɔnu kple ɖeɖe ƒe ŋusẽ. Nye mɔ sesẽ, nye sitsoƒe kple nye ɖela èɖem le nye futɔwo katã ƒe asi me.
My God, was my rock, I sought refuge in him, —My shield, and my horn of salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, My Saviour! from violence, thou didst save me.
4 “Meyɔ Yehowa, ame si dze na kafukafu, eɖem tso nye futɔwo katã ƒe asi me.
As one worthy to be praised, called I on Yahweh, —And, from my foes, was I saved.
5 Ku ƒe ƒutsotsoewo ƒo xlãm, vɔ̃ ƒe tɔɖɔɖɔwo gbã ɖe dzinye.
When the breakers of death had encompassed me, —the torrents of perdition, made me afraid, —
6 Tsiẽƒe ƒe kawo blam eye ku ƒe mɔtetrewo ɖi kpem. (Sheol h7585)
the meshes of hades, had surrounded me, —the snares of death had confronted me, (Sheol h7585)
7 “Ke meyɔ Yehowa le nye xaxa me, medo ɣli na nye Mawu be wòaɖem. Ese nye gbe tso eƒe gbedoxɔ me ke eye nye ɣlidodo ɖo egbɔ, ge ɖe eƒe to me.
In my distress, called I on Yahweh, Yea, unto my God, did I call, —and he hearkened, out of his temple, unto my voice, and, my cry for help, was in his ears!
8 Tete anyigba dzo nyanyanya eye wòʋuʋu; dziƒo ƒe agunuwo ke hã ʋuʋu heyeheye eye wodzo kpekpekpe elabena dzi kui.
Then did the earth shake and quake, the foundations of the heavens, were deeply moved, —yea they did shake, because he was angry,
9 Dzudzɔ do tso eƒe ŋɔtime; dzo ƒe aɖewo do tso eƒe nu me eye dzoka xɔxɔwo kplɔe ɖo.
There went up a smoke in his nostrils, and, a fire out of his mouth, devoured, —live coals, were kindled from it:
10 Ema dziŋgɔli ɖe eve, wòto eme ɖi va anyi eye lilikpo do blukɔ le eƒe afɔ te.
Then he stretched out the heavens, and came down, —and, thick gloom, was under his feet;
11 Ede Kerubiwo dzi eye wòdzo dzo. Eɖo asagba ɖe ya ƒe aʋalawo dzi.
Then he rode on a cherub, and flew, —and was seen on the wings of the wind;
12 Ewɔ viviti nɔ eme abe agbadɔ ene eye lilikpo yibɔ si dzaa tsi lae ƒo xlãe
And made of the darkness around him, pavilions, —gathering of waters, clouds of vapours.
13 dzoka xɔxɔwo do tso eƒe keklẽ me le eŋgɔ.
Out of the brightness before him, were kindled live coals of fire;
14 Yehowa ɖe gbe tso dziƒo; eye Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la na wose eƒe gbe.
Thunder from the heavens, did Yahweh give forth, —yea, the Highest, uttered his voice;
15 Eda eƒe aŋutrɔ eye wòkaka eƒe futɔwo, eɖo dzikedzo ɖa eye wòtɔtɔ wo.
And he sent forth arrows, and scattered them, —lightning, and confused them;
16 Atsiaƒu ƒe balimewo dze gaglãa eye anyigba ƒe gɔmeɖoɖo tsi ƒuƒlu le Yehowa ƒe nyaheɖeameŋu kple gbɔgbɔ si do tso eƒe ŋɔtime ta.
Then appeared the channels of the sea, were uncovered the foundations of the world, —at the rebuke of Yahweh, the blast of the breath of his nostrils;
17 “Edo asi ɖa tso dziƒo lém, heɖem tso tɔ goglowo me;
He sent from on high, he took me, —he drew me out of many waters;
18 tso nye futɔ ŋusẽtɔwo ƒe asi me, tso nye ketɔwo ƒe asi me, ame siwo sẽ wum akpa la ƒe asi me.
He rescued me from my foe, in his might, —from them who hated me, because they were too strong for me:
19 Woƒo ɖe dzinye le nye dzɔgbevɔ̃egbe gake Yehowa nye nye kpeɖeŋutɔ.
They confronted me, in the day of my necessity, —then became Yahweh my stay:
20 Eɖem tsɔ da ɖe teƒe gbadza; eɖem elabena nye nu nyo eŋu.
And brought out, into a large place, even me, —he delivered me, because he delighted in me:
21 “Yehowa nɔ kplim le nye dzɔdzɔenyenye nu eye wòwɔ nyui nam le esi nye asi me dza ta.
Yahweh rewarded me, according to my righteousness—according to the cleanness of my hands, he repaid me:
22 Melé Yehowa ƒe mɔwo me ɖe asi. Nyemewɔ vɔ̃ hetrɔ le nye Mawu yome o;
For I had kept the ways of Yahweh, —and not broken away from my God;
23 Eƒe sewo katã le ŋkunye me; eye nyemetrɔ le eƒe ɖoɖowo yome o.
For, all his regulations, were before me, —and, as for his statutes, I turned not from them.
24 Nyemeɖi fɔ le eŋkume o eye mete ɖokuinye ɖa tso nu vɔ̃ gbɔ.
So became I blameless towards him, —and kept myself from mine iniquity:
25 Eya ta Yehowa wɔ nyui nam le nye dzɔdzɔenyenye kple esi nye asi me dza le eŋkume la ta.
Yahweh therefore repaid me, according to my righteousness, —according to my pureness before his eyes.
26 “Èwɔa nuteƒe na nuteƒewɔla eye nèfiaa ɖokuiwò fɔmaɖilae na ame si ŋu fɔɖiɖi mele o.
With the loving, thou didst show thyself loving, —with the blameless hero, thou didst show thyself blameless;
27 Ame si dza le eƒe dzi me la, èɖea ɖokuiwò fianɛ be èdza eye nèfiaa ɖokuiwò ayetɔe ɖe ayetɔ la ŋu.
With the pure, thou didst show thyself pure, —but, with the perverse, thou didst shew thyself ready to contend:
28 Èɖea ame siwo bɔbɔa wo ɖokui ke wò ŋku le dadalawo ŋu, be nabɔbɔ wo ɖe anyi.
And, a patient people, thou didst save, —but, thine eyes, were on the lofty—thou layedst them low;
29 Wò, Yehowa, wòe nye nye akaɖi! Ènana nye viviti trɔna zua kekeli.
For, thou, wast my lamp, O Yahweh, —and, Yahweh, enlightened my darkness;
30 Mate ŋu alũ ɖe aʋakɔ dzi to wò kpekpeɖeŋu me eye le nye Mawu ta mate ŋu ati kpo aflɔ gli.
For, by thee, I ran through a troop, —by my God, I leapt over a wall.
31 “Mawu ya ƒe mɔwo de blibo, Yehowa ƒe nya nye nyateƒe sɔŋ. Enye akpoxɔnu na ame siwo tsɔe wɔ sitsoƒee.
As for God, blameless is his way, —the speech of Yahweh, hath been proved, a shield, he is to all who seek refuge in him.
32 Elabena ame kae ganye Mawu kpe ɖe Yehowa ŋu? Ame kae ganye Agakpe? Ɖe menye míaƒe Mawu la koe oa?
For who is a GOD, save Yahweh? and who a Rock, save our God?
33 Mawue nye nye mɔ sesẽ, eyae na nye mɔ zu gbadzaa.
GOD, is my fortress of strength, —and shewed to the blameless his way;
34 Ewɔ nye afɔwo abe zi tɔwo ene eye wòna metea ŋu tsia tsitre ɖe teƒe kɔkɔwo.
Planting my feet like the hinds’, —yea, on my high places, he caused me to stand;
35 Efia aʋawɔwɔ nye asiwo eye nye asiwo ate ŋu abɔ dati si wowɔ kple akɔbli.
Teaching my hands, to war, —so that a bow of bronze was bent by mine arms;
36 Ètsɔ wò dziɖuɖu ƒe akpoxɔnu la nam. Ebɔbɔ ɖokuiwò be nàdo kɔkɔm.
Thus didst thou grant me, as a shield, thy salvation, —and, thy condescension, made me great.
37 Èkeke mɔ le tenye, be nye klowo magli le tenye o.
Thou didst widen my stepping-places, under me, —so that mine ankles faltered not:
38 “Meti nye futɔwo yome eye metsrɔ̃ wo; nyemetrɔ le wo yome o, va se ɖe esime wotsrɔ̃.
I pursued my foes, and destroyed them, —and returned not, till they were consumed;
39 Metsrɔ̃ wo gudugudu eye ɖeke magate ŋu afɔ o. Wodze anyi ɖe nye afɔ nu
So I consumed them, and crushed them, and they rose not again, —thus fell they under my feet:
40 elabena wòe na ŋusẽm hena aʋa la wɔwɔ, èna mebɔbɔ ame siwo katã tso ɖe ŋunye la ɖe anyi.
Thus didst thou gird me with strength, for the battle, —thou subduedst mine assailants under me:
41 Èna nye futɔwo trɔ megbe dem helé du tsɔ eye metsrɔ̃ nye futɔwo.
And, as for my foes, thou didst give me their neck, —yea, them who hated me, that I might destroy them:
42 Wodo ɣli be Yehowa naxɔ na yewo gake ame aɖeke mexɔ na wo o elabena Yehowa metɔ na wo o.
They cried out, but there was none to save, —unto Yahweh, but he answered them not.
43 Metu wo, wozu abe ke ene. Megbã wo, wokaka abe ʋuʋudedi si le ablɔwo dzi ene.
Then did I beat them in pieces, like the dust of the earth, —like the clay of the lanes, did I crush them, stamp them down.
44 “Èɖem tso ame siwo va dze dzinye la si me, èkpɔ tanye abe dukɔwo ƒe fia ene; eye ame siwo nyemenya o la dzie meɖu fia ɖo.
Thus didst thou rescue me from the contentions of my people, didst keep me to be the head of nations: —a people whom I had not known, served me;
45 Ne wose ŋkɔnye ko la, woɖoa tom eye du bubu me tɔwo gɔ̃ hã dzona nyanyanya le nye ŋkume.
The sons of the foreigner, came cringing unto me, —at the hearing of the ear, they submitted to me, —
46 Dzi ɖena le wo katã ƒo eye wotsɔa dzodzo nyanyanya hedoa goe le woƒe mɔ sesẽwo me.
The sons of the foreigner, were disheartened, and came quaking, out of their fortresses.
47 “Yehowa li tegbee! Woakafu nye Agakpe la! Woado Mawu, nye Xɔla la ɖe dzi bobobo!
Yahweh liveth, and blessed be my rock, —and exalted be the God (of the rock) of my salvation: —
48 Eyae nye Mawu, ame si bia hlɔ̃ nam. Etsɔ dukɔwo de nye afɔ te.
The GOD who hath avenged me, and brought down peoples under me;
49 Èɖeam tso nye futɔwo ƒe asi me, ɛ̃, èkɔm gbɔ nye futɔwo ta eye nèɖem tso ŋutasẽlawo ƒe asi me,
And brought me forth from among my foes, —yea, from mine assailants, hast thou set me on high, from the man of violence, hast thou delivered me.
50 eya ta ele be makafu wò, Oo Yehowa, le dukɔwo katã dome eye madzi kafukafuha na wò ŋkɔ.
For this cause, will I praise thee, O Yahweh, among the nations, —and, to thy name, will I touch the strings: —
51 “Ena dziɖuɖu geɖe eƒe fia la, eye wòvea eƒe amesiamina David kple eƒe dzidzimeviwo nu tegbee.”
Who hath made great the victories of his King, —and shown lovingkindness to his Anointed One, to David and to his Seed, unto times age-abiding.
