< Korintotɔwo 2 8 >
1 Azɔ la, nɔviwo, medi be magblɔ nu siwo wɔm Mawu le, le Makedonia hamewo me to eƒe amenuveve me la na mi.
Moreover, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the assemblies of Macedonia,
2 Togbɔ be wole fu geɖe kpem, eye wonye ame dahewo hã la, wokɔ dɔ me faa, eye wodzɔa nu kple dzidzɔ.
how in a severe ordeal of affliction, the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their generosity.
3 Mele ɖase ɖim le hame siawo ŋuti be wodzea agbagba dzɔa nu ŋutɔ, eye wowɔnɛ wòwua ale si woate ŋui gɔ̃ hã kple dzi faa, ke menye ɖe metee ɖe wo dzi be woawɔe o.
For according to their power, I testify, yes and beyond their power, they gave of their own accord,
4 Woɖe kuku na mí be míaxɔ yewo hã ƒe nunana ale be yewo hã yewoakpɔ dzidzɔ be yewona kpekpeɖeŋu Mawu ƒe ame siwo le Yerusalem.
begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the holy ones.
5 Esi ƒo wo katã ta, eye wòwɔ nuku na mí lae nye be wotsɔ wo ɖokuiwo na Aƒetɔ la kple míawo hã to Mawu ƒe amenuveve me, eye wolɔ̃ be yewoaɖo to nya sia nya si míegblɔ na yewo la.
This was not as we had expected, but first they gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us through the will of God.
6 Esia ta míebia tso Tito, ame si de dzi ƒo na mi le yayra si le nunanadɔ si gɔme miedze me la si be wòayi edzi ade dzi ƒo na mi be miawu amenuvedɔ sia nu le mia dome.
So we urged Titus, that as he had made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace.
7 Ale si miede ŋgɔ le xɔse, nufiafia, nunya, veviedodo nu kple lɔlɔ̃ si mietsɔ na mí me la, nenema ke medi be mianye ame gbãtɔwo le lɔlɔ̃nunanadɔ sia hã me.
But as you abound in everything—in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in your love to us—see that you also abound in this grace.
8 Menye ɖe mele se dem na mi alo le mia dzi zim be miawɔ nunana kokoko o, ke boŋ ale si wònye hame bubuwo ƒe didi vevie be yewoawɔ nunana alea tae medi be miawo hã miaɖe miaƒe lɔlɔ̃ afia abe hame bubuwo ene.
I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.
9 Miawo ŋutɔ mienya Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ƒe amenuveve be kesinɔtɔ wònye hafi, ke mia ŋuti wòva de ahe ɖo be miawo la, miato eƒe ahedada la me azu kesinɔtɔwo.
For you know the grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
10 Medi be maɖo aɖaŋu na mi be miado vevi nu le nunana sia me, awu nu si gɔme miedze le ƒe si va yi me la nu, elabena miawoe nye ame gbãtɔ siwo do susu sia ɖa, eye mieɖee fia be miele klalo ɖe ewɔwɔ ŋuti hã.
I give advice in this: it is expedient for you who were the first to start a year ago, not only to do, but also to be willing.
11 Azɔ esi miedze ʋua ƒoƒo gɔme dzidzɔtɔe alea la, miaƒoe nenema va se ɖe nuwuwu. Mina nu si miate ŋui la tso nu si le mia si la me.
But now complete the doing also, that as there was the readiness to be willing, so there may be the completion also out of your ability.
12 Ne enye miaƒe didi be yewoana nu mí la, migatsi dzi le ga home si le mia si la ŋu o. Mawu ƒe didie nye be nàna nu si nàte ŋui, ke menye wu esi le asiwò o.
For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
13 Menye míaƒe didie wònye be miamia ŋku, ana ga fũu be ame siwo miele nua dzɔm na la nazu kesinɔtɔwo atsɔ miaƒe ga anɔ agbe vivi ɖum o,
For this is not that others may be eased and you distressed,
14 ke boŋ ɖe míedi be miama nu siwo le mia si la kple wo. Fifia la, nu geɖe le mia si, eya ta mikpe ɖe wo ŋu, ale be ne emegbe nu megava le mia si o, ke wòle woawo si la, woawo hã nakpe ɖe mia ŋu. To esia me la, ame sia ame akpɔ etɔ sinua.
but for equality. Your abundance at this present time supplies their lack, that their abundance also may become a supply for your lack, that there may be equality.
15 Abe ale si wòle Ŋɔŋlɔ Kɔkɔe la mee ene be, “Ame si ƒoa ƒu nuwo fũu hã mekpɔa ɖeke ɖe edzi o, ke ame si ƒo ƒu sue aɖe hã la, naneke mehiãnɛ o.”
As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”
16 Míeda akpe na Mawu, ame si tsɔ nenem veviedodo nu le mia ŋuti sia de Tito ƒe dzi me be wòakpe ɖe mia ŋu, axlɔ̃ nu mi abe nye ke ene.
But thanks be to God, who puts the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.
17 Tito kpɔ dzidzɔ ŋutɔ esi míegblɔ nɛ be wòagava kpɔ mi ɖa. Eya ŋutɔ hã di vevie be yeava hafi míegblɔe gɔ̃ hã.
For he indeed accepted our exhortation, but being himself very earnest, he went out to you of his own accord.
18 Mele nɔvi nyanyɛ bubu aɖe hã ɖom ɖa kpe ɖe Tito ŋuti le mɔzɔzɔ sia me. Hame geɖewo ɖi ɖase le ale si nɔvi sia hã kpɔ gome le Mawu ƒe amenuveve la me be wòagblɔ Aƒetɔ la ƒe nyanyui la kple dzideƒo la ŋuti.
We have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the Good News is known throughout all the assemblies.
19 Le nyateƒe me la, hameawo tia nɔvi sia hã be eya hã nanɔ mí ame siwo le miaƒe nunanawo tsɔ ge ayi Yerusalem la dome. Míele dɔ sia wɔm be míatsɔ ade bubu Aƒetɔ la ŋuti eye míaɖe ale si wònye míaƒe didi vevie be míakpe ɖe mía nɔewo ŋuti la hã afia.
Not only so, but he was also appointed by the assemblies to travel with us in this grace, which is served by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and to show our readiness.
20 Míewɔ esia elabena míedi be ame aɖeke nagaka mo na mí le nudzɔdzɔ gã sia, si míena wodzɔ la ŋuti o.
We are avoiding this, that any man should blame us concerning this abundance which is administered by us.
21 Mawu ŋutɔ nya be nuteƒewɔlawo míenye, gake míedi be amewo hã nanya esia.
Having regard for honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
22 Míegale nɔvi bubu hã ɖom ɖe mi kpe ɖe wo ŋuti, ame sia hã nye hadɔwɔla vevi ɖeka. Eya hã di vevie be yeakpe ɖe mia ŋu, esi megblɔ míaƒe vevidodo nu nɛ.
We have sent with them our brother whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which he has in you.
23 Ɖewohĩ ne ame aɖe bia mi be ame kae nye Tito hã la, migblɔ be enye nye dɔwɔhati, eye wònye tenyeƒenɔla le mia gbɔ. Eye ne wobia nu tso nɔvi eve bubuawo hã ŋu la, migblɔ ko be ame dɔdɔwo wonye tso hame bubuawo me, eye wonye subɔla vavãwo kple bubu na Kristo.
As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for you. As for our brothers, they are the emissaries of the assemblies, the glory of Messiah.
24 Meɖe kuku mitsɔ lɔlɔ̃ si le mia me ɖe ŋunye la na ame siawo hã, ale be woakpɔe be ale si meƒoa adegbe tso mia ŋuti la le eme vavã, eye miɖee fia le hameawo ƒe ŋkume.
Therefore show the proof of your love to them before the assemblies, and of our boasting on your behalf.
