< Korintotɔwo 2 3 >

1 Ke nya siwo meŋlɔ na mi la, ɖe wodze abe míele mía ɖokui kafum enea? Alo ɖe wòhiã mi abe ame aɖewo ene be míatsɔ kafukafugbalẽwo vɛ na mi alo míaxɔ kafukafugbalẽ le mia si mahã?
Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some [others], epistles of commendation to you, or [letters] of commendation from you.
2 Miawoe nye míaƒe agbalẽ si woŋlɔ ɖe miaƒe dziwo me, si amewo katã nya, eye woxlẽnɛ.
Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men:
3 Amewo akpɔe be miezu agbalẽ si tso Kristo gbɔ to mía dzi.
[Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tables of stone, but on fleshly tables of the heart.
4 Míele nya siawo gblɔm kple kakaɖedzi, elabena míeɖo ŋu ɖe Mawu ɖeka hɔ̃ la ko ŋu to Kristo dzi.
And such trust we have through Christ toward God.
Not that we are sufficient by ourselves to think any thing as from ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] from God;
Ke yeyetɔ nye be míasubɔ Mawu le Gbɔgbɔ me elabena Gbɔgbɔ lae gbɔa agbe ame, ke seawo ɖeɖe ko dzi wɔwɔ kplɔa ame yia ku me.
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 Enye nyateƒe be Mose xɔ se siwo woŋlɔ ɖe kpe dzi, siwo dzi mawɔmawɔ hea ku vɛ la, le ŋutikɔkɔe gã aɖe me. Eye esi wòtrɔ gbɔ va kple seawo la, keklẽ gã aɖe ƒo xlãe ale gbegbe be Israelviwo mete ŋu kpɔ eƒe ŋkume gɔ̃ o, gake ŋutikɔkɔe ma nu va yi xoxo.
But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away;
8 Ke azɔ la, ɖe míakpɔ mɔ na dzidzɔ kple ŋutikɔkɔe geɖe wu le esime Mawu ƒe Gbɔgbɔ subɔsubɔ la le amewo xɔm ɖe agbe le ŋkeke siawo me oa?
How shall not the ministration of the Spirit be rather glorious?
9 Ne ŋutikɔkɔe geɖe ƒo xlã se siwo hea ku vɛ la, ekema ŋutikɔkɔe geɖe fũu ŋutɔe aƒo xlã nubabla yeye si Mawu wɔ, si kplɔa ame yia agbe mavɔ la me.
For if the ministration of condemnation [was] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
10 Le nyateƒe me la, ŋutikɔkɔe ma si klẽ tso Mose ƒe ŋkume la menye naneke ne woatsɔ asɔ kple esi ƒo xlã Mawu ƒe nubabla yeye la o.
For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
11 Eya ta ne nu xoxo si nu va yi la kpɔ ŋutikɔkɔe nenema la, ekema Mawu ƒe nubabla yeye si hea agbe mavɔ vɛ la ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe la mele gbɔgblɔ me o, elabena eya anɔ anyi ɖaa.
For if that which was done away [was] glorious, much more that which remaineth [is] glorious.
Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
13 Míawo ya la, míewɔna abe ale si Mose wɔ esi wòtsɔ nu tsyɔ mo be Israelviwo nagakpɔ nu si nu tsina ƒe nuwuwu o la ene.
And not as Moses, [who] put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
14 Va se ɖe egbeŋkekea dzi la, menye Mose ƒe mo ko wotsyɔ nue o, ke boŋ Israelviwo hã ƒe susuwo kple nugɔmesese dzie, elabena wogaɖoa dzi ɖe Nubabla Xoxoa ŋu, eye woxlẽnɛ ɖaa abe nu si ko me woƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ le ene, evɔ wònye to Kristo dzixɔse me ko hafi woate ŋu adzo le vivitia me, eye agbe ƒe kekeli la nadze na wo.
But their minds were blinded: for until this day the same vail remaineth untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [vail] is done away in Christ.
But even to this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
16 Ke gbe si gbe wo dometɔ aɖe trɔ eye wòxɔ Aƒetɔ la la, ekema nu si tsyɔ mo nɛ si na be wòle viviti me la, ɖena ɖa.
Nevertheless, when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
17 Aƒetɔ la ŋutɔe nye Gbɔgbɔ si naa agbe wo eye afi si Aƒetɔ la ƒe Gbɔgbɔ le ko la, afi mae ablɔɖe le.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty.
18 Ke mí ame siwo katã xɔ Yesu Kristo abe Aƒetɔ ene heɖoa dzi ɖe eŋu la, nutsyɔnu aɖeke mele míaƒe mowo o, eya ta míele abe ahuhɔ̃e si ɖea Aƒetɔ la ƒe keklẽ kple ŋutikɔkɔe fiana la ene. Eye zi ale si Aƒetɔ la si nye Gbɔgbɔ la le dɔ wɔm le mía me la, etrɔa mí be míaɖi Kristo le eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe me.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.
