< Korintotɔwo 2 12 >
1 Adegbe siwo katã ƒom mele la mehiã o. Movinyawo sɔŋ ko wonye, gake mele edzi yi ge. Mina maƒo nu le Aƒetɔ la ƒe ŋutegawo kple ɖeɖefiawo ŋu.
If it is necessary (though certainly not expedient) to glory, then I will next tell of visions and revelations from the Lord.
2 Menya ŋutsu aɖe le Kristo me. Anɔ abe ƒe wuienee nye esia ene la, eɖanɔ ŋutilã me o, nyemenyae o, alo menɔ ŋutilã me o, nyemenyae o; Mawue nyae. Wokɔ nenem me sia yi dziƒo etɔ̃lia.
I know a man in Christ, who, more than fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I do not know, or out of the body, I do not know: God knows), was enraptured to the third heaven.
3 Migabiam be ŋutilã mee wònɔ alo gbɔgbɔ mee wònɔ hafi yi afi ma hã o, elabena nyemenya o. Mawu ɖeka koe nya, gake menya be wokɔe yi Paradiso la me vavã.
And I know a certain man (whether in the body, or out of the body, I do not know: God knows),
4 Le afi ma la, wose nya siwo wɔ nuku ale gbegbe be wogbɔ amegbetɔwo ƒe susu kple gɔmesese ŋu yi, eye womeɖe mɔ be woagblɔ wo na ame aɖeke o.
who was enraptured into Paradise. And he heard words of mystery, which it is not permitted for man to speak.
5 Nu si teƒe wòkpɔ la nye nu xɔasi aɖe si ŋu mate ŋu aƒo adegbe le, gake nyemedi be mawɔ nenema o. Ke boŋ maƒo adegbe le ale si megbɔdzɔe, gake Mawu wɔ dɔ le ŋutinye hena eya ŋutɔ ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe la ŋuti.
On behalf of someone like this, I will glory. But on behalf of myself, I will not glory about anything, except my infirmities.
6 Nu geɖewo ŋutɔ li siwo ŋu maƒo adegbe le, eye ne mewɔ esia la, mawɔm movitɔe o; elabena wonye nyateƒe. Ke nyemawɔe o, be amewo nabum amegãe wu ame si ŋutɔ menye o, ke boŋ be woakpɔ nu si wòdze be woakpɔ le nye agbenɔnɔ kple gbeƒã si ɖem mele la me.
For even though I am willing to glory, I will not be foolish. But I will speak the truth. Yet I will do so sparingly, lest anyone may consider me to be anything more than what he sees in me, or anything more than what he hears from me.
7 Mawu ƒe gãnyenye kple nukunu siwo teƒe mekpɔ la, menye nu bɔbɔe o, eye be nyemagado ɖokuinye ɖe dzi o la tae Mawu na be dɔléle aɖe ge ɖe nye ŋutilã me si zu ŋu nɔa fu ɖem nam. Esia nye Satana ƒe dɔla ƒe nuwɔna.
And lest the greatness of the revelations should extol me, there was given to me a prodding in my flesh: an angel of Satan, who struck me repeatedly.
8 Medo gbe ɖa na Aƒetɔ la zi etɔ̃ sɔŋ kple kukuɖeɖe be wòaɖe dɔléle sia ɖa le menye.
Because of this, three times I petitioned the Lord that it might be taken away from me.
9 Ke ɣe sia ɣi la, Aƒetɔ la gblɔna nam be, “Nye amenuveve sɔ gbɔ na wò, elabena meɖea nye ŋusẽ fiana to ame siwo gbɔdzɔ le ŋutilã me la dzi.” Eya ta enye dzidzɔ nam be maƒo adegbe le nye gbɔdzɔgbɔdzɔ ŋuti boŋ, ale be Kristo ƒe ŋusẽ blibo la katã nadze le menye.
And he said to me: “My grace is sufficient for you. For virtue is perfected in weakness.” And so, willingly shall I glory in my weaknesses, so that the virtue of Christ may live within me.
10 Esi menya be Kristo ŋutɔ ƒe lɔlɔ̃nu wònye be nu sia nadzɔ ɖe dzinye ta la, mekpɔa dzidzɔ be “ŋu” sia le nye ŋutilã me. Mekpɔa dzidzɔ hã be amewo dzuam, tia nye agbe yome, eye meɖoa xaxa kple hiã geɖe me, elabena mekpɔa ŋusẽ to gbɔdzɔgbɔdzɔ me, eye zi ale si megbɔdzɔ la, zi nenema ke mesẽa ŋue.
Because of this, I am pleased in my infirmity: in reproaches, in difficulties, in persecutions, in distresses, for the sake of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful.
11 Miaƒe nuwɔnae na be meƒo nu, do ɖokuinye ɖe dzi abe bometsila ene. Evɔ la, miawoe wòle be miakafum, ke menye nye ŋutɔ wòle be makafu ɖokuinye hafi o, eye togbɔ be nyemele naneke me o hã la, naneke mele miaƒe apostolo mawo si si mele asinye o.
I have become foolish; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you. For I have been nothing less than those who claim to be above the measure of Apostles, even though I am nothing.
12 Esi mele mia gbɔ la, nye dɔwɔwɔ ɖe sia ɖe ɖo kpe edzi be Aƒetɔ lae tiam abe apostolo ene, eye wòdɔm be mava gblɔ nyanyui la na mi, eye metsɔ dzigbɔɖi wɔ dzesiwo, nukunuwo kple ŋusẽdɔ geɖewo hã le mia dome.
And the seal of my Apostleship has been set over you, with all patience, with signs and wonders and miracles.
13 Nu ka me gɔ̃ mietsi megbe le le hame susɔeawo ŋu? Nu si ko nyemewɔ le mia gbɔ o, evɔ mewɔe le hame bubuwo me lae nye be nyemenye agba na mi o. Mitsɔ nu madzɔmadzɔ sia kem!
For what is there that you have had which is less than the other churches, except that I myself did not burden you? Forgive me this injury.
Vinyewo mienye, eye menye viwoe wòle be woadi nuɖuɖu na wo dzilawo o. Dzilawoe wòle be wòakpɔ wo viwo dzi.
Behold, this is the third time I have prepared to come to you, and yet I will not be a burden to you. For I am seeking not the things that are yours, but you yourselves. And neither should the children store up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
15 Enye dzidzɔ nam be matsɔ ɖokuinye kple nu siwo le asinye la na mi be miatsi ɖe edzi le gbɔgbɔ me, gake zi ale si mele mia lɔ̃m ɖe edzi la, zi nenema ke miaƒe lɔlɔ̃ nam hã dzi le ɖeɖem kpɔtɔ.
And so, very willingly, I will spend and exhaust myself for the sake of your souls, loving you more, while being loved less.
16 Ame aɖewo le mia dome le gbɔgblɔm be, “Enye nyateƒe be ne eɖi tsa va kpɔ mí la, míegblẽa ga aɖeke ɖe eŋuti o, gake Paulo sia ayetɔe wònye le mía blem. Le nyateƒe me la, anya to mɔ aɖe dzi kokoko wɔ ga le mía ŋuti.”
And so be it. I have not burdened you, but instead, being astute, I obtained you by guile.
17 Enye nyateƒea? Ɖe ame siwo medɔ ɖo ɖe mi la ƒe ɖe va xɔ nane le mia sia?
And yet, did I defraud you by means of any of those whom I sent to you?
18 Alo ɖe Tito kple nɔvi si medɔ ɖo ɖe mia gbɔ la va ba mia? Gbeɖe, elabena menya nyuie be mí katã la, Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe ma ɖeka koe le mía me, eye nu ɖeka tɔgbi mí katã míewɔna.
I asked for Titus, and I sent a brother with him. Did Titus defraud you? Did we not walk with the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps?
19 Ɖewohĩ la, mianɔ bubum be ɖe mele esiawo katã gblɔm be maʋli mía ɖokuiwo ta le mia gbɔ, ale be miagalɔ̃m. Esia mele eme nenema o. Nɔvi lɔlɔ̃wo, abe Kristotɔwo ene la, mele nya sia gblɔm na mi le Mawu ƒe ŋkɔ me, be matu mi ɖo le gbɔgbɔ me.
Have you ever thought that we should explain ourselves to you? We speak in the sight of God, in Christ. But all things, most beloved, are for your edification.
20 Nu si vɔ̃m mele lae nye be ne meva mia gbɔ la, miaƒe agbenɔnɔ ava tɔ ŋku nam, eye esia ana be nye nuwɔna manɔ abe ale si miadi be wòanɔ ene o. Mele vɔvɔ̃m be ne meva la, mava kpɔ dzrewɔwɔ, ŋuʋaʋã, dɔmedzoedodo, ameŋuzɔzɔ, sakplisasa, ɖokuidodoɖedzi kple mama le mia dome.
Yet I fear, lest perhaps, when I have arrived, I might not find you such as I would want, and I might be found by you, such as you would not want. For perhaps there may be among you: contention, envy, animosity, dissension, detraction, whispering, self-exaltation, and rebellion.
21 Mele vɔvɔ̃m hã be nenye be meva la, Mawu abɔbɔm ɖe anyi le miaƒe ŋkume, eye mafa konyi le ame geɖe siwo wɔ nu vɔ̃ tsã, eye wometrɔ le woƒe dzi me le makɔmakɔnyenye, ahasiwɔwɔ kple hadzedze siwo wowɔ la ŋuti la ta.
If so, then, when I have arrived, God may again humble me among you. And so, I mourn for the many who sinned beforehand, and did not repent, over the lust and fornication and homosexuality, which they have committed.
