1 Esi Seba fianyɔnu se ale si Fia Solomo ƒe ŋkɔ ɖi hoo la, eva Yerusalem be yeadoe akpɔ kple biabia sesẽwo. Ekplɔ eŋume kple subɔla geɖewo ɖe asi eye wòtsɔ atike ʋeʋĩwo, sika kple kpe xɔasiwo ɖe kposɔ geɖewo dzi vɛ fũu eye wòƒo nu kple fia la tso nu siwo katã nɔ eƒe susu me la ŋuti.
And the queen of Saba heard [of] the name of Solomon, and she came to Jerusalem with a very large force, to prove Solomon with hard questions, and [she had] camels bearing spices in abundance, and gold, and precious stones: and she came to Solomon, and told him all that was in her mind.
2 Fia Solomo te ŋu ɖo eƒe biabiawo katã ŋu, naneke menɔ ɣaɣla ɖi o. Enya nu sia nu eye wòte ŋu ɖe nu sia nu me nɛ.
And Solomon told her all her words; and there passed not a word from Solomon which he told her not.
3 Esi fianyɔnu la kpɔ ale si gbegbe Solomo nya nu, ale si eƒe fiasã la nyoe,
And the queen of Saba saw the wisdom of Solomon, and the house which he had built,
4 nuɖuɖu nyui siwo woɖo kplɔ̃ dzi, subɔla geɖewo kple awu nyui siwo wodo, ahakulawo kple numevɔ geɖe siwo wòsana na Yehowa la, eƒe nu ku.
and the meat of the tables, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their raiment; and his cupbearers, and their apparel; and the whole burnt offerings which he offered up in the house of the Lord; then she was in ecstasy.
5 Seba fianyɔnu la gblɔ na fia la be, “Nutsotso siwo katã mese le nye ŋutɔ nye dukɔ me tso wò dzidzedzekpɔkpɔwo kple wò nunya ŋu la nye nyateƒe.
And she said to the king, [It was] a true report which I heard in my land concerning your words, and concerning your wisdom.
6 Nyemexɔe se o va se ɖe esime meva ɖo afi sia eye mekpɔe kple nye ŋutɔ nye ŋkuwo. Le nyateƒe me la, womegblɔ ale si wò nunya de ŋgɔe la ƒe afã gɔ̃ hã nam o. Ekɔ gbɔ nutsotso siwo mese la ŋu sasasa.
Yet I believed not the reports until I came, and my eyes saw: and, behold, the half of the abundance of your wisdom was not told me: you have exceeded the report which I heard.
7 Wò amewo akpɔ dzidzɔ ŋutɔ, dzidzɔ ka gbegbe wò dɔnunɔla siwo tsia tsitre ɖe wò ŋkume ɣe sia ɣi eye wosea wò nunya la makpɔ o!
Blessed [are] your men, blessed [are] these your servants, who stand before you continually, and hear your wisdom.
8 Woakafu Yehowa, wò Mawu la ame si ŋu wò nu nyo eye wòtsɔ wò da ɖe eƒe fiazikpui dzi be nànye fia, anɔ Yehowa, wò Mawu la teƒe le lɔlɔ̃ si wò Mawu tsɔ na Israel kple eƒe didi be yealé wo ɖe asi ɖaa ta la, eɖo wò Fiae ɖe wo nu be nàdrɔ̃ ʋɔnu dzɔdzɔe eye nàhe dzɔdzɔenyenye vɛ.”
Blessed be the Lord your God, who took pleasure in you, to set you upon his throne for a king, to the Lord your God: forasmuch as the Lord your God loved Israel to establish them for ever, therefore he has set you over them for a king to execute judgment and justice.
9 Tete Seba fianyɔnu la tsɔ sika tɔn ene, atikeʋeʋĩ gbogbo aɖewo kple kpe xɔasiwo na fia la. Ame aɖeke metsɔ atikeʋeʋĩ aɖeke vɛ kpɔ nenema abe esiwo Seba fianyɔnu la tsɔ na Fia Solomo ene o.
And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and spices in very great abundance, and precious stones: and there were not [any where else] such spices as those which the queen of Saba gave king Solomon.
10 Fia Hiram kple Solomo ƒe tɔdziʋukulawo tsɔ sika si tso Ofir kple papawuti kple kpe xɔasi geɖewo hã vɛ.
And the servants of Solomon and the servants of Chiram brought gold to Solomon out of Suphir, and pine timber, and precious stones.
11 Fia Solomo tsɔ papawutiwo wɔ atrakpuiwo na gbedoxɔ la kple fiasã la kple kasaŋkuwo kple saŋkuwo na hadzilawo. Womekpɔ haƒonu nyui mawo tɔgbi kpɔ le Yudanyigba blibo la dzi o.
And the king made of the pine timber steps to the house of the Lord, and to the king's house, and harps and lutes for the singers: and such were not seen before in the land of Juda.
12 Fia Solomo tsɔ nunana geɖewo na Seba fianyɔnu la eye woƒe home de esi fianyɔnu la nae nu hafi wògatsɔ nu sia nu si fianyɔnu la biae la nɛ. Azɔ la, fianyɔnu la kple eƒe amewo trɔ yi wo de.
And king Solomon gave to the queen of Saba all that she requested, besides all that she brought to king Solomon: and she returned to her [own] land.
13 Sika si Solomo xɔna ƒe sia ƒe la dea tɔn blaeve vɔ atɔ̃,
And the weight of the gold that was brought to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,
14 ga si asitsalawo tsɔna vɛ nɛ la mele eme o. Hekpe ɖe esia ŋu la, Arabia fiawo katã kple anyigba la dzi mɔmefiawo tsɔa sika kple klosalo vɛ na Solomo.
besides what the men who were regularly appointed and the merchants brought, and all the kings of Arabia and princes of the land: all brought gold and silver to king Solomon.
15 Fia Solomo tsɔ sika wɔ akpoxɔnu gã alafa eve. Wotsɔ sika kilogram etɔ̃ kple afã wɔ wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe.
And king Solomon made two hundred shields of beaten gold: there were six hundred [shekels] of pure gold to one shield.
16 Egatsɔ sika wɔ akpoxɔnu ɖagbitɔ alafa etɔ̃, ɖe sia ɖe ƒe kpekpeme nye kilo eve. Fia la tsɔ nu siawo da ɖe Lebanon ƒe Avexɔ me le eƒe fiasã la me.
And three hundred buckles of beaten gold: [the weight] of three hundred gold shekels went to one buckler: and the king placed them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
17 Fia la kpa fiazikpui gã aɖe. Etsɔ nyiɖu fa ɖe eme eye wòtsɔ sika nyuitɔ fa ɖe eŋu.
And the king made a great throne of ivory, and he gilded it with pure gold.
18 Etsɔ sika wɔ atrakpui ade kple afɔɖodzinu ɖeka kple abɔɖoƒewo ɖe fiazikpui la ŋu. Abɔɖoƒe nɔ zikpuia ƒe axa eveawo dzi eye wowɔ dzata si le tsitre la da ɖe abɔɖoƒe aveawo ƒe axadzi.
And [there were] six steps to the throne, riveted with gold, and elbows on either side of the seat of the throne, and two lions standing by the elbows:
19 Dzata wuieve le atrakpuifɔflɔ adeawo ƒe axawo kple eve dzi. Fiazikpui aɖeke meganyo abe esia ene le fiaɖuƒe aɖeke me o.
and twelve lions standing there on the six steps on each side. There was not the like in any [other] kingdom.
20 Wotsɔ sika wɔ kplu siwo katã me Fia Solomo noa nu le eye nenema ke wotsɔ sika nyuitɔ wɔ nuɖugba kple nuɖaze siwo katã nɔ Lebanon Ƒe Avexɔ la me. Womewɔ naneke kple klosalo o elabena le Solomo ƒe anyinɔɣi la, womebua klosalo be enye nu xɔasi o.
And all king Solomon's vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were covered with gold: silver was not thought anything of in the days of Solomon.
21 Asitsatɔdziʋu geɖewo nɔ fia la si siwo yia asigbe le atsiaƒu dzi kple Hiram ƒe dɔlawo tɔwo. Wotrɔna gbɔna zi ɖeka le ƒe etɔ̃ me kple sika, klosalo, nyiɖu kple kese ƒomevi vovovowo kple xewo.
For a ship went for the king to Tharsis with the servants of Chiram: once every three years came vessels from Tharsis to the king, laden with gold, and silver, and ivory, and apes.
22 Ale Fia Solomo de ŋgɔ wu anyigbadzifiawo katã le kesinɔnuwo kple nunya me.
And Solomon exceeded all [other] kings both in riches and wisdom.
23 Fiawo tsoa dukɔ ɖe sia ɖe me vana Solomo gbɔ hena aɖaŋuxɔxɔ eye be woaɖo to nunya si Mawu tsɔ de eƒe dzi me.
And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
24 Wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe tsɔa klosalo, sika kple awuwo, aʋawɔnuwo, atike ʋeʋĩwo, sɔwo kple tedzisɔwo vana nɛ ƒe sia ƒe.
And they brought every one his gifts, silver vessels and golden vessels, and raiment, myrrh and spices, horses and mules, a rate every year.
25 Hekpe ɖe esiawo ŋu la, sɔ akpe ene, siwo wowɔ nɔƒe na, kple tasiaɖamwo kpakple sɔdola akpe wuieve nɔ Solomon si le tasiaɖamduwo me kple Yerusalem hena fia la ŋu dzɔdzɔ.
And Solomon had four thousand mares for chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; and he put them in the chariot cities, and with the king in Jerusalem.
26 Solomo ɖu fia ɖe fia kple fiaɖuƒe ɖe sia ɖe dzi tso Frat tɔsisi la to yi Filistitɔwo ƒe anyigba dzi heyi keke Egipte ƒe liƒo dzi.
And he rules over all the kings from the river even to the land of the Philistines, and to the borders of Egypt.
27 Ena klosalo bɔ ɖe Yerusalem abe ale si kpewo nɔa mɔ dzi ene eye wowɔa sedati ŋu dɔ abe ale si wowɔa gboti si bɔ fũu la ŋu dɔ ene.
And the king made gold and silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars as the sycamore trees in the plain for abundance.
28 Wotsɔa sɔwo tso Egipte kple dukɔ bubuwo me vɛ nɛ.
And Solomon imported horses from Egypt, and from every [other] country.
29 Woŋlɔ nu bubu siwo Fia Solomo wɔ la ɖe Nyagblɔɖila Natan ƒe ŋutinyawo kple Nyagblɔɖila Ahiya, Silotɔ la ƒe nyagblɔɖiwo kple nukpɔla, ldo ƒe nu siwo wòkpɔ tso Yeroboam, Nebat ƒe vi ŋu la me.
And the rest of the acts of Solomon, the first and the last, behold, these are written in the words of Nathan the prophet, and in the words of Achia the Selonite, and in the visions of Joel the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nabat.
30 Ale Fia Solomo ɖu fia le Yerusalem ɖe Israel dukɔ blibo la dzi ƒe blaene.
And Solomon reigned over all Israel forty years.
31 Esi wòku la, woɖii ɖe fofoa, David ƒe du la me eye via Rehoboam ɖu fia ɖe eteƒe.
And Solomon fell asleep, and they buried him in the city of David his father: and Roboam his son reigned in his stead.
