1 Tete Solomo na wodze Yehowa ƒe gbedoxɔ la tutu gɔme. Wotui ɖe Yerusalem, le Moria to la dzi, afi si Yehowa ɖe eɖokui fia Solomo fofo, Fia David le, afi si Arauna, Yebusitɔ la ƒe lugbɔƒe nɔ. David tia teƒe ma be wòanye gbedoxɔ la ƒe nɔƒe.
And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where He had appeared unto David his father, on the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 Xɔtutu la ŋutɔ dze egɔme le ɣleti evelia ƒe ŋkeke evelia dzi le Fia Solomo ƒe fiaɖuɖu ƒe ƒe enelia me.
And he began to build on the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Gɔmeɖokpe si Solomo ɖo na Mawu ƒe gbedoxɔ la didi mita blaeve-vɔ-adre eye wòkeke mita asieke le nudzidzenu xoxo la nu.
Now in this manner was the foundation laid of the house of God [at its] building [by] Solomon: The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 Akpata si nɔ gbedoxɔ la ŋkume la didi mita asieke va se ɖe gbedoxɔ la ƒe kekeme eye wòkɔ mita blaatɔ̃-vɔ-ene. Wofa sika nyuitɔ ɖe eme katã.
And the porch that was in the front of the length was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was a hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 Woklã sesewuʋuƒowo ɖe gbedoxɔ la ŋutɔ me, wofa sika nyuitɔ ɖe ʋuƒoawo ŋu eye woɖe detiwo kple kɔsɔkɔsɔwo ɖe sika la me.
And the great house he ceiled with fir-wood, which he overlaid with pure gold, and he wrought thereon palm-trees and chains.
6 Etsɔ kpe xɔasi siwo nya kpɔna ŋutɔ la ɖo ɖe gliawo me be woado xɔa me ƒe nyonyo ɖe ŋgɔ. Sika la nye sika nyuitɔ tso Parvaim.
And he overlaid the house with costly stones for ornament: and the gold was gold of Parvayim.
7 Wofa sika si me woɖe mawudɔlawo ɖo la ɖe gbedoxɔ la ƒe gliwo, daɖedziwo, ʋɔtruwo kple kpuiawo katã ŋu.
And he covered the house, the beams, the sills, and its walls, and its doors, with gold: and he engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 Teƒe si woyɔna be Kɔkɔeƒe Ƒe Kɔkɔeƒe la le gbedoxɔ la ƒe akpa ɖeka. Eƒe didime nye mita asieke eye eƒe kekeme hã nye mita asieke. Wofa sika si ƒe kpekpeme nye “tɔn” blaeve-vɔ-ɖekɛ la ɖe gliawo ŋu.
And he made the most holy house, its length being in front of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits: and he covered it with fine gold, [amounting] to six hundred talents.
9 Sikagatagbadzɛ siwo ŋu dɔ wowɔ la dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe ƒe kpekpeme nye gram alafa atɔ̃ blaadre. Wofa sika ɖe xɔtaxɔawo hã me.
And the weight of the nails [amounted] to fifty shekels of gold. And the upper chambers he covered with gold.
10 Solomo na wowɔ mawudɔla eve, efa sika ɖe wo ŋu eye wòtsɔ wo da ɖe xɔ, emetɔ, si nye Kɔkɔeƒe ƒe Kɔkɔeƒe la me.
And he made in the most holy house two cherubim of sculpture work, and they overlaid them with gold.
11 Kerubiawo ƒe aʋalawo ƒe didime le mita ewo. Kerubi gbãtɔ ƒe aʋala ɖeka didi mita eve kple afã eye wotɔ gbedoxɔ la ƒe gli. Aʋala evelia, si hã didi mita eve kple afã la tɔ kerubi evelia ƒe aʋala ɖeka.
And regarding the wings of the cherubim their length was twenty cubits; the wing of the one amounting to five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing of five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 Nenema ke kerubi evelia ƒe aʋala ɖeka, si didi mita eve kple afã la tɔ gbedoxɔ la ƒe gli eye eƒe aʋala evelia, si hã didi mita eve kple afã la, tɔ kerubi gbãtɔ ƒe aʋala.
And the wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits was joined closely to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Kerubi eveawo ƒe aʋalawo didi mita ewo. Wole tsitrenu eye wodze ŋgɔ xɔ gã la.
The wings of these cherubim [as they were] spread out were twenty cubits: and they were standing on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14 Etsi xɔmetsovɔ si nye aklala si wotsɔ aɖabɛ blɔtɔ kple dzĩtɔ ƒe ka lɔ̃e eye wota mawudɔlawo ɖe eme la ɖe xɔ sia ƒe mɔnu.
And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought thereon cherubim.
15 Sɔti eve le gbedoxɔ la ƒe mɔnu. Ɖe sia ɖe kɔ mita wuiade. Wotsɔ taɖonu si do tso xɔgbagba la te la ɖo ta na sɔtiawo eye ɖe sia ɖe kɔ mita eve kple afã.
And he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits in length, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 Ewɔ kɔsɔkɔsɔwo da ɖe Kɔkɔeƒe ƒe Kɔkɔeƒe la, le sɔtiawo tame eye wòtsi yevuboɖa alafa ɖeka ɖe kɔsɔkɔsɔawo ŋu.
And he made chains in the debir; and [others which] he placed on the top of the pillars; and he made a hundred pomegranates, and placed them on the chains.
17 Etu sɔti eve ɖe gbedoxɔ la ŋkume, ɖeka ɖe dziehe gome, evelia ɖe anyiehe gome eye wòna ŋkɔ wo. Woyɔa dziehetɔ be, Yakin eye woyɔa anyiehetɔ be, Boaz.
And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Bo'az.
