1 Ale Fia Solomo ɖu fia ɖe Israel blibo la dzi.
And king Solomon reigned over Israel.
2 Eƒe dumegãwoe nye: Azaria, Zadok ƒe vi nye nunɔla;
And these [are] the princes which he had; Azarias son of Sadoc.
3 Elihoref kple Ahiya, Sisa ƒe viwo nye nuŋlɔlawo; Yehosafat, Ahilud ƒe vi nye ame si ŋlɔa takpekpemenyawo dana ɖi eye wòkpɔa nu xoxowo dzi;
Eliaph, and Achia son of Seba, scribes; and Josaphat son of Achilud, recorder.
4 Benaya, Yehoiada ƒe vi nye aʋafia na dukɔ la; Zadok kple Abiata nye nunɔlawo.
And Banaeas son of Jodae over the host; and Sadoc and Abiathar [were] priests.
5 Azaria, Natan ƒe vi nye dukɔ la ƒe dɔnunɔlawo ƒe tatɔ; Zabud, Natan ƒe vi nye nunɔla na Fia la ŋutɔ eye wòganye Fia la xɔlɔ̃ tɔxɛ;
And Ornia the son of Nathan [was] over the officers; and Zabuth son of Nathan [was] the king's friend.
6 Ahisa kpɔa fiasã la ƒe nuwo dzi kple fiasã la me nyawo gbɔ; Adoniram, Abda ƒe vi kpɔa dudɔwɔwɔwo dzi.
And Achisar was steward, and Eliac the [chief] steward; and Eliab the son of Saph [was] over the family: and Adoniram the son of Audon over the tribute.
7 Solomo gatia dzikpɔla wuieve ɖe Israel blibo la nu, ame ɖeka tso to ɖeka me, ame siwo ƒe dɔe nye be woadi nuɖuɖu na fiasã la me. Wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe wɔa dɔ sia ɣleti ɖeka le ƒe sia ƒe me.
And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, to provide for the king and his household; each one's turn came to supply for a month in the year.
8 Ame wuieve siawo kple teƒe siwo wodzɔa nuɖuɖu le la woe nye esiawo: Ben Hur dzɔa nu le Efraim ƒe tonyigba ŋu;
And these [were] their names: Been the son of Or in the mount of Ephraim, one.
9 Ben Deker dzɔa nu le Makaz, Saalbim, Bet Semes kple Elon Betanan;
The son of Dacar, in Makes, and in Salabin, and Baethsamys, and Elon as far as Bethanan, one.
10 Ben Hesed dzɔa nu le Arubɔt kple Soko kple Hefernyigba blibo la dzi;
The son of Esdi in Araboth; his [was] Socho, and all the land of Opher.
11 Ben Abinadab, ame si ɖe Solomo ƒe vinyɔnu, Tafat la dzɔa nu le Dor ƒe tonyigbawo dzi;
All Nephthador [belonged to] the son of Aminadab, Tephath daughter of Solomon was his wife, one.
12 Bana, Ahilud ƒe vi dzɔa nu le Taanak, Megido, Bet Sean dzɔa nu le Zaretan gbɔ le Yezreel te kple anyigba si tso Betsan yi Abel Mehola heyi Yokmeam la dzi;
Bana son of Achiluth [had] Ithaanach, and Mageddo, and [his was] the whole house of San which was by Sesathan below Esrae, and from Bethsan as far as Sabelmaula, as far as Maeber Lucam, one.
13 Ben Geber dzɔa nu le Ramot Gilead kple Yair, Manase ƒe vi ƒe kɔƒe, le Gilead kple Argob nutowo me le Basan kple du blaade siwo woɖo gli ƒo xlãe eye wode akɔbligbowo wo nu la me.
The son of Naber in Raboth Galaad, to him [fell] the lot of Ergab in Basan, sixty great cities with walls, and brazen bars, one.
14 Ahinadab, Ido ƒe vi dzɔa nu le Mahanaim;
Achinadab son of Saddo, [had] Maanaim.
15 Ahimaaz, ame si ɖe Basemat, Solomo ƒe vinyɔnu bubu la dzɔa nu le Naftali;
Achimaas [was] in Nephthalim, and he took Basemmath daughter of Solomon to wife, one.
16 Bana, Husai ƒe vi, dzɔa nu le Aser kple Alɔt;
Baana son of Chusi, in Aser and in Baaloth, one,
17 Yehosafat, Pania ƒe vi dzɔa nu le Isaka;
Josaphat son of Phuasud [was] in Issachar.
18 Simei, Ela ƒe vi dzɔa nu le Benyamin;
Semei son of Ela, in Benjamin.
19 Geber, Uri ƒe vi dzɔa nu le Gilead kple anyigba siwo nye Fia Sixɔn, Amoritɔwo ƒe fia kple Fia Ɔg, Basan fia tɔ tsã la dzi. Dɔdzikpɔla ɖeka kpɔa ame siawo kple woƒe dɔwo dzi.
Gaber son of Adai in the land of Gad, [the land] of Seon king of Esebon, and of Og king of Basan, and one officer in the land of Juda.
20 Israel kple Yuda nye dukɔ si kpɔ kesinɔnu geɖe; woƒe amewo sɔ gbɔ eye dzidzeme nɔ anyigba la dzi.
And thus the officers provided king Solomon: and [they execute] every one in his month all the orders for the table of the king, they omit nothing.
21 Fia Solomo ɖu anyigba blibo la dzi tso Frat tɔsisi la to va yi Filistitɔwo ƒe anyigba dzi va tɔ Egiptetɔwo ƒe liƒo. Dukɔ siwo dzi wòɖu la, dzɔ nu nɛ eye wosubɔe le eƒe agbemeŋkekewo katã me.
And they carried the barley and the straw for the horses and the chariots to the place where the king might be, each according to his charge.
22 Nuɖuɖu si Solomo hiã le fiasã la me gbe sia gbe woe nye wɔ memi kilolita ade kple afã, wɔ bubu, kilolita wuietɔ̃ kple afã,
And these [were] the requisite supplies for Solomon: in one day thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of fine pounded meal,
23 nyitsu dami ewo siwo wonyi le nyikpo me, nyi blaeve siwo wonyi le gbeɖuƒewo, alẽ alafa ɖeka eye ɣe aɖewo ɣi la, wowɔa sẽ, zi, sãde kple xevi damiwo ŋu dɔ.
and ten choice calves, and twenty pastured oxen, and a hundred sheep, besides stags, and choice fatted does.
24 Fiaɖuƒe siwo katã nɔ Frat tɔsisi la ƒe ɣetoɖoƒe lɔƒo, tso Tifsa yi Gaza la nɔ Fia Solomo ƒe fiaɖuƒe me eye ŋutifafa nɔ anyigba blibo la dzi.
For he had dominion on this side the river, and he was at peace on all sides round about.
25 Le Fia Solomo ƒe agbenɔɣi blibo la me la, ŋutifafa kple dedinɔnɔ nɔ Yuda kple Israel siaa eye aƒe kple agble nɔ ƒome ɖe sia ɖe si.
26 Tasiaɖamŋusɔ akpe ene, siwo wowɔ nɔƒe na, kple sɔdola akpe wuieve nɔ Fia Solomo si.
27 Nuɖuɖudzikpɔla siawo dzɔa nuɖuɖu na Solomo kple eŋumewo ɣleti sia ɣleti
28 eye wonaa ƒo kple aƒla fia la ƒe sɔwo hã.
29 Mawu na nunya blibo kple gɔmesese deto Solomo le mɔ geɖewo nu.
And the Lord gave understanding to Solomon, and very much wisdom, and enlargement of heart, as the sand on the seashore.
30 Eƒe nunya de ŋgɔ wu nunyala gã siwo tso Ɣedzeƒe kple esiwo tso Egipte la tɔwo.
And Solomon abounded greatly beyond the wisdom of all the ancients, and beyond all the wise men of Egypt.
31 Enya nu wu Etan, Ezrahitɔ la kple Heman, Kalkol kple Darda, ame siwo nye Mahol ƒe viwo. Exɔ ŋkɔ le dukɔ siwo ƒo xlãe la me.
And he was wiser than all [other] men: and he was wiser than Gaethan the Zarite, and [than] Aenan, and [than] Chalcad and Darala the son of Mal.
32 Eto lododo akpe etɔ̃ vɛ eye wòkpa ha akpe ɖeka kple atɔ̃.
And Solomon spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were five thousand.
33 Enya nu tso nu gbagbewo abe lãwo, xewo, dawo kple tɔmelãwo ene ŋu. Eganya nu tso atiwo hã ŋu, tso Lebanon ƒe sedati gãwo dzi va se ɖe kakle siwo tsina le gli dzedzewo me la ŋuti.
And he spoke of trees, from the cedar in Libanus even to the hyssop which comes out through the wall: he spoke also of cattle, and of birds, and of reptiles, and of fishes.
34 Fiawo dɔa amewo tso anyigba geɖewo dzi ɖona ɖe egbɔ be woaxɔ aɖaŋuɖoɖo tso egbɔ.
And all the nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and [ambassadors] from all the kings of the earth, as many as heard of his wisdom.
