< Korintotɔwo 1 2 >
1 Nɔviwo, esi meva mia gbɔ zi gbãtɔ heɖe gbeƒã Mawu ƒe nya na mi la, nyemewɔe kple aɖe ŋanɛ alo nunya kɔkɔ o,
And when I came to you, brothers, I came not to proclaim God’s great secret purpose in fine language of philosophy;
2 elabena meɖoe kplikpaa be nyemagblɔ nya boo aɖeke wu esi ku ɖe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo kple eƒe ku le atitsoga ŋuti la ŋu o.
for I determined to know nothing, while among you, but Jesus as Christ, and him a crucified Christ.
3 Meva mia gbɔ le ɖokuibɔbɔ gã aɖe me eye menɔ vɔvɔ̃m, henɔ dzodzom nyanyanya.
In weakness and fear and great trembling came I among you.
My message and my preaching were not in the persuasive language of philosophy, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power;
5 Mewɔ esia be miaƒe xɔse nali ke le Mawu ƒe ŋusẽ me, ke menye le amewo ƒe nunya nu o.
in order that your faith should rest, not on human philosophy, but on the power of God.
6 Ke ne mele kristotɔ siwo de ŋgɔ le gbɔgbɔ me la dome la, meƒoa nu na wo kple nunya tɔxɛ. Ke hã la, nyemewɔa xexe sia me nunya ŋu dɔ o, eye nyemegblɔa nya siwo ƒomevi asɔ to me na ame ŋkuta siwo le xexea me, ame siwo le tsɔtsrɔ̃ ge abe ale si Mawu ɖoe anyi ene o. (aiōn )
Notwithstanding, among those who are mature I do teach philosophy; though not the philosophy of the present age, nor of its rulers who are coming to nought. (aiōn )
7 Nya siwo míegblɔna la tso Mawu ŋutɔ gbɔ, eya ta wonye nya siwo gɔmesese blibo li na, eye woɖe Mawu ƒe ɖoɖo tɔxɛ si wòwɔ be yeana míakpɔ dzidzɔ la fia. Togbɔ be wowɔ ɖoɖo sia da ɖi hena míaƒe viɖekpɔkpɔ hafi xexea me va dzɔ hã la, enɔ ɣaɣla ɖe mía tɔgbuiwo. (aiōn )
No, it is God’s wisdom that I utter, that hidden wisdom which God had decreed before the world began, unto our glory. (aiōn )
8 Ke nublanuitɔe la, xexe sia me ƒe amegãwo mese ɖoɖoa gɔme o. Nenye ɖe wose egɔme la, anye ne womeklã Ŋutikɔkɔe ƒe Aƒetɔ la ɖe atitsoga ŋu o. (aiōn )
None of the rulers of the present age understands it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. (aiōn )
9 Gake abe ale si woŋlɔe ɖe Mawu ƒe nya me ene be, “Nu si ame aɖeke mese kpɔ alo nu si ame, aɖeke mesusu ɖe ta me kpɔ gbeɖe o la,” eya tututue Mawu dzra ɖo ɖi na ame siwo lɔ̃a Aƒetɔ la.
Nay, as it is written. Eye has not seen, Nor ear heard, Neither have entered into man’s heart The things which God has prepared For those who love him.
10 Gake míawo ya míenya nu le nu siawo ŋu elabena Mawu ɖo eƒe Gbɔgbɔ ɖe mí be wòaɖe nu ɣaɣla siawo afia mí eye eƒe Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe la dzroa nu sia nu me tsitotsito heɖea Mawu ƒe nu ɣaɣlawo katã fiaa mí.
Yet God has unveiled them to us by his Spirit. For the Spirit fathoms everything, even the abysmal depths of God.
11 Amegbetɔ aɖeke mate ŋu anya nu si le nɔvia ƒe ta me alo ame si ƒomevi tututu ame bubu aɖe nye o, ke amea ŋutɔ koe anya nu si le ta me nɛ. Nenema ke ame aɖeke mate ŋu anya Mawu ƒe susuwo o, negbe Mawu ƒe Gbɔgbɔ la ŋutɔ ko.
For what man knows the depths of man except the man’s own inner Spirit? Even so, also, the Spirit of God knows the deeps profound of God.
12 Le nyateƒe me la, míawo la míexɔ xexeme ƒe gbɔgbɔ la o. Mawu tsɔ eya ŋutɔ ƒe Gbɔgbɔ na mí be wòaɖe Mawu ƒe dɔmenyo ƒe nunana gã si nye eƒe yayra kple amenuveve manyagblɔ la afia mí.
But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which comes forth from God, that we may realize the blessings freely given us by God.
13 Nya siwo tututu Mawu ƒe Gbɔgbɔ la gblɔ na mí la, woawoe míetsɔ ɖe nya me na mi le nunana siawo ŋu, ke menye nya siwo dze mía ŋutɔwo ŋue megblɔ na mi o. Ale míeƒoa nu kple Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe la ƒe ŋusẽ be míatsɔ aɖe eƒe nyawo me na mi.
Of these high themes we speak in words not taught by human philosophy, but by the Spirit; interpreting spiritual things to spiritual men.
14 Eya ta ne Mawu ƒe Gbɔgbɔ mele ame aɖe me o la, mate ŋu ase Mawu ƒe nya siawo gɔme o, eye maxɔ wo dzi ase hã o. Nya siawo katã aɖi bometsinya le to me na ame sia tɔgbi elabena ame siwo me Mawu ƒe Gbɔgbɔ la le la koe ate ŋu ase nya si gblɔm Gbɔgbɔ la le la gɔme.
The unspiritual man rejects the teachings of God’s Spirit; for him it is folly. He cannot understand it, for it is spiritually discerned,
15 Ke ame si me Gbɔgbɔ la le la sea nu sia nu me tsitotsito eye esia ɖea fu na xexea me tɔwo, ame siwo me Gbɔgbɔ la mele o, elabena woawo mate ŋu ase nu siawo gɔme o.
But the spiritual man discerns everything, yet is himself discerned by no one.
16 “Ke ame kae nya Aƒetɔ la ƒe susu? Ame kae afia nui?” Ke míawo la, Kristo ƒe susu le mía si.
For what man understands the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him?
