1 Esiawoe nye David ƒe viŋutsu siwo wodzi nɛ le Hebron: Tsitsitɔe nye Amnon, ame si dadae nye Ahinoam tso Yezreel. David ƒe vi eveliae nye Daniel eye dadae nye Abigail tso Karmel.
These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;
2 Via ŋutsu etɔ̃liae nye Absalom, ame si Maaka, Gesur Fia, Talmai ƒe vinyɔnu dzi nɛ. Eneliae nye Adoniya, ame si dadae nye Hagit.
the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;
3 Via atɔ̃liae nye Sefatia eye dadae nye Abital Adeliae nye Itream eye dadae nye Egla.
the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.
4 Wodzi ŋutsu ade siawo na Fia David le Hebron, afi si wòɖu fia le ƒe adre kple afã. Ena Yerusalem zu fiadu eye wòɖu fia le afi ma ƒe blaetɔ̃-vɔ-etɔ̃.
These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
5 Esi David nɔ Yerusalem la, srɔ̃a Batseba, Amiel ƒe vinyɔnu dzi vi ene siwoe nye: Simea, Sobab, Natan kple Solomo.
and these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel.
6 Vi asieke bubuwo ganɔ David si; woawoe nye: Ibhar, Elisama, Elifelet,
David’s other sons were Ibhar, Elishua, Eliphelet,
7 Noga, Nefeg, Yafia,
Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
8 Elisama, Eliada kple Elifelet.
Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet—nine in all.
9 Vi siwo nyɔnu bubuwo dzi nɛ la mele ame siawo dome o. Vinyɔnu aɖe hã nɔ David si; eŋkɔe nye Tamar.
These were all the sons of David, besides the sons by his concubines. And Tamar was their sister.
10 Fia Solomo ƒe dzidzimeviwoe nye Rehoboam, Abiya, Asa, Yehosafat,
Solomon’s son was Rehoboam: Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
11 Yoram alo Yehoram, Ahazia, Yoas,
Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12 Amazia, Azaria alo Uzia, Yotam,
Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13 Ahaz, Hezekia, Manase,
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14 Amon kple Yosia.
Amon his son, and Josiah his son.
15 Yosia ƒe viwoe nye, Yohanan alo Yehoahaz, Yehoyakim, Zedekia kple Salum.
The sons of Josiah: Johanan was the firstborn, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.
16 Ame siwo ɖu fia ɖe Yehoyakim yome la woe nye, Yehoyatsin si nye Yehoyakim vi kple Zedekia.
The successors of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, and Zedekiah.
17 Yehoyatsin, ame si wolé la ƒe dzidzimeviwoe nye, Via ŋutsu Sealtiel,
The descendants of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
18 Malkiram, Pedaya, Senazar, Yekamia, Hosama kple Nedadia.
Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 Pedaya ƒe viŋutsuwoe nye, Zerubabel kple Simei. Zerubabel ƒe viŋutsuwoe nye, Mesulam kple Hananiya. Wo nɔvinyɔnu nye Selomit
The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The children of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, their sister Shelomith,
20 Via ŋutsu atɔ̃ bubuwoe nye Hasuba, Ohel, Berekia, Hasadia kple Yusab Hesed.
and five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.
21 Hananiya ƒe dzidzimeviwoe nye, Pelatia kple Yesaya kple Refaya, Arnan, Obadia kple Sekania ƒe viŋutsuwo.
The descendants of Hananiah: Pelatiah, Jeshaiah, and the sons of Rephaiah, of Arnan, of Obadiah, and of Shecaniah.
22 Sekania ƒe dzidzimeviwoe nye, Semaya kple via ŋutsuwo: Hatus, Igal, Baria, Nearia kple Safat; wole ame ade.
The six descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
23 Viŋutsu etɔ̃ nɔ Nearia si; woawoe nye, Elioenai, Hezekia kple Azrikam.
The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam—three in all.
24 Vi adre nɔ Elioenai si: Woawoe nye Hodavia, Eliasib, Pelaya, Akub, Yohanan, Delaya kple Anani.
The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.
