1 Esiae nye Israelviwo ƒe hatsotsowo le ƒometatɔwo, ame akpewo ƒe tatɔwo, ame alafawo ƒe tatɔwo kple woƒe dɔnunɔlawo nu, ame siwo wɔ dɔ na fia la le aʋakɔ la ƒo hatsotsowo me, ame siwo nɔa dɔme dzinu ɖeka ɖe wo nɔewo yome le ƒea me. Ŋutsu akpe blaeve-vɔ-ene nɔ hatsotso ɖe sia ɖe me.
And the sons of Israel, after their number, heads of the fathers, and princes of the thousands and of the hundreds, and their officers, those serving the king in any matter of the courses, that are coming in and going out month by month, throughout all months of the year — [are] in each course twenty and four thousand.
2 Yasobeam, Zabdiel ƒe viŋutsu, nɔ hatsotso gbãtɔ nu le ɣleti gbãtɔ me. Ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-enee nɔ eƒe hatsotso la me.
Over the first course, for the first month, [is] Jashobeam son of Zabdiel, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand;
3 Enye Perez ƒe dzidzimevi eye wònye amegã nɔ asrafomegãwo nu le ɣleti gbãtɔ me.
of the sons of Perez [is] the head of all princes of the hosts for the first month.
4 Hatsotso evelia ƒe tatɔe nye Dodai, Ahohitɔ ƒe dzidzimevi. Ekpɔ ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-ene dzi eye eƒe amewo wɔa dɔ le ƒe sia ƒe ƒe ɣleti evelia me. Eƒe kpeɖeŋutɔe nye Miklɔt.
And over the course of the second month [is] Dodai the Ahohite, and his course, and Mikloth [is] the president, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
5 Aʋakɔ etɔ̃lia na ɣleti etɔ̃lia ƒe tatɔe nye Benaya, Yehoiada, Nunɔla la ƒe viŋutsu. Ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-enee nɔ ete.
Head of the third host, for the third month, [is] Benaiah son of Jehoiada, the head priest, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
6 Benaya sia nye ame sesẽ si nɔ Ame Blaetɔ̃awo dome kple woƒe tatɔ. Via ŋutsu Amizabad nye hatsotso la ƒe tatɔ.
This Benaiah [is] a mighty one of the thirty, and over the thirty, and [in] his course [is] Ammizabad his son.
7 Hatsotso enelia ƒe tatɔe nye Asahel, Yaob nɔvi, ame si teƒe via Zebadia va xɔ ɖo emegbe. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ɣleti enelia me.
The fourth, for the fourth month, [is] Asahel brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
8 Hatsotso atɔ̃lia ƒe tatɔe nye Samut tso Izra. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ƒe sia ƒe ƒe ɣleti atɔ̃lia me.
The fifth, for the fifth month, [is] the prince Shamhuth the Izrahite, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
9 Hatsotso adelia ƒe tatɔe nye Ira, ame si nye Ikes tso Tekoa ƒe vi. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ɣleti adelia me.
The sixth, for the sixth month, [is] Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
10 Hatsotso adrelia ƒe tatɔe nye Helez tso Pelɔn le Efraim. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ɣleti adrelia me.
The seventh, for the seventh month, [is] Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
11 Hatsotso enyilia ƒe tatɔe nye Sibekai tso Husasi ƒe hlɔ̃ me tso Zera. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ɣleti enyilia me.
The eighth, for the eighth month, [is] Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhite, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
12 Hatsotso asiekelia ƒe tatɔe nye Abiezer, tso Anatɔt tso Benyamin ƒe viwo dome. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ɣleti asiekelia me.
The ninth, for the ninth month, [is] Abiezer the Antothite, of the Benjamite, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
13 Hatsotso ewolia ƒe tatɔe nye Maharai tso Netofa le Zera. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ɣleti ewolia me.
The tenth, for the tenth month, [is] Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhite, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
14 Hatsotso wuiɖekɛlia ƒe tatɔe nye Benaya tso Piratɔn le Efraim. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ɣleti wuiɖekɛlia me.
Eleventh, for the eleventh month, [is] Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
15 Hatsotso wuievelia ƒe tatɔe nye Heldai tso Netofa, tso Otniel ƒe viwo dome. Eƒe ame akpe blaeve-vɔ-eneawo wɔa dɔ le ɣleti wuievelia me.
The twelfth, for the twelfth month, [is] Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, and on his course [are] twenty and four thousand.
16 Israel ƒe toawo nunɔlawo le ale: Ruben ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Eliezer, Zikri ƒe vi; Simeon ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Sefatia, Maaka ƒe vi;
And over the tribes of Israel: Of the Reubenite, a leader [is] Eliezer son of Zichri; of the Simeonite, Shephatiah son of Maachah;
17 Levi ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Hasabia, Kemuel ƒe vi; Aron ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Zadok;
of the Levite, Hashabiah son of Kemuel; of the Aaronite, Zadok;
18 Yuda ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Elihu, Fia David nɔvi; Isaka ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Omri, Mikael ƒe vi;
of Judah, Elihu, of the brethren of David; of Issachar, Omri son of Michael;
19 Zebulon ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Ismaya, Obadia ƒe vi; Naftali ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Yeremot, Azriel ƒe vi;
of Zebulun, Ishmaiah son of Obadiah; of Naphtali, Jerimoth son of Azriel;
20 Efraim ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Hosea, Azazia ƒe vi; Manase ƒe viwo ƒe afã ɖeka Nunɔlae nye Yoel, Pedaya ƒe vi;
of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah; of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, Joel son of Pedaiah;
21 Manase ƒe viwo ƒe afã evelia nɔ Gilead, wo Nunɔlae nye Ido, Zekaria ƒe vi. Benyamin ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Yaasiel, Abner ƒe vi;
of the half of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo son of Zechariah; of Benjamin, Jaasiel son of Abner; of Dan, Azareel son of Jeroham:
22 Dan ƒe viwo Nunɔlae nye Azarel, Yeroham ƒe vi. Ame siawoe nye Israel toawo ƒe amegãwo.
these [are] heads of the tribes of Israel.
23 David mexlẽ ame siwo mexɔ wu ƒe blaeve la o elabena Yehowa do ŋugbe be yeana Israelviwo nasɔ gbɔ abe dziƒoɣletiviwo ene.
And David hath not taken up their number from a son of twenty years and under, for Jehovah said to multiply Israel as the stars of the heavens.
24 Ame si dze amexexlẽ la gɔmee nye Yoab, Zeruya ƒe vi gake mete ŋu wu enu o elabena Mawu ƒe dɔmedzoe bi ɖe Israel ŋu eya ta womede amexexlẽ sia ƒe nukpɔkpɔ Fia David ƒe ŋutinya me o.
Joab son of Zeruiah hath begun to number — and hath not finished — and there is for this wrath against Israel, and the number hath not gone up in the account of the Chronicles of king David.
25 Azmavet, Adiel ƒe vi, nye tatɔ na ame siwo kpɔa fia la ƒe kesinɔnuwo dzraɖoƒe dzi eye Yonatan, Uzia ƒe vi, nye tatɔ na ame siwo kpɔa kesinɔnuwo dzraɖoƒe la dzi le duwo kple kɔƒewo kple mɔwo me.
And over the treasures of the king [is] Azmaveth son of Adiel; and over the treasures in the field, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers, [is] Jehonathan son of Uzziah;
26 Ezri, Kelub ƒe vi kpɔa ame siwo wɔa dɔ le agblewo me la dzi.
and over workmen of the field for the service of the ground [is] Ezri son of Chelub;
27 Simei, tso Ramat kpɔ fia la ƒe waingblewo dzi eye Zabdi, Sifmitɔ kpɔa eƒe wainfiafia kple edzadzraɖo dzi.
and over the vineyards [is] Shimei the Ramathite; and over what [is] in the vineyards for the treasures of wine [is] Zabdi the Shiphmite;
28 Baal Hanan tso Gedera kpɔa fia la ƒe amiti kple gboti siwo le gbadzaƒe si do liƒo kple Filistitɔwo ƒe anyigba dzi eye Yoas kpɔa ami si ŋu dɔ wowɔna la dzi.
and over the olives, and the sycamores, that [are] in the low country, [is] Baal-Hanan the Gederite; and over the treasures of oil [is] Joash;
29 Sitrai, tso Saron kpɔa nyi siwo le Saron ƒe gbeɖuƒe la dzi eye Safat, Adlai ƒe vi, kpɔa nyi siwo nɔ balimewo la dzi.
and over the herds that are feeding in Sharon [is] Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds in the valleys [is] Shaphat son of Adlai;
30 Obil, Ismaeltɔ la, kpɔ kposɔwo dzi eye Yehdeia, Meronotitɔ la kpɔa tedziwo dzi.
and over the camels [is] Obil the Ishmeelite; and over the asses [is] Jehdeiah the Meronothite;
31 Alẽwo nɔ Yaziz, Hagritɔ la ƒe dzikpɔkpɔ te. Ame siawoe nye Fia David ƒe kesinɔnuwo dzikpɔlawo. Ame siawo katãe nɔ fia David ƒe kesinɔnuwo nu.
and over the flock [is] Jaziz the Hagerite; all these [are] heads of the substance that king David hath.
32 Yonatan, Fia David tɔɖia, nye aɖaŋuɖola nyui aɖe; gɔmesese le esi eye wònye agbalẽŋlɔ la hã. Yehiel, Hakmoni ƒe vi fia nu fia la ƒe viwo.
And Jonathan, uncle of David, [is] counsellor, a man of understanding, he is also a scribe; and Jehiel son of Hachmoni [is] with the sons of the king;
33 Ahitofel nye fia la ƒe aɖaŋuɖola eye Husai, Arkitɔ la, nye fia xɔlɔ̃.
and Ahithophel [is] counsellor to the king; and Hushai the Archite [is] the friend of the king;
34 Esi Ahitofel ku la, Abiata kple Yehoiada, Benaya ƒe vi, zu aɖaŋuɖolawo, eye Yoab nye fia la ƒe aʋafia.
and after Ahithophel [is] Jehoiada son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and the head of the host of the king [is] Joab.
