Zeĥarja 1

1 En la oka monato, en la dua jaro de Dario, aperis vorto de la Eternulo al la profeto Zeĥarja, filo de Bereĥja, filo de Ido, dirante:

In the eight moneth of the second yeere of Darius, came the worde of the Lord vnto Zechariah the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Iddo, the Prophet, saying,

2 Forte koleris la Eternulo kontraŭ viaj patroj.

The Lord hath bene sore displeased with your fathers.

3 Diru do al ili: Tiele diras la Eternulo Cebaot: Revenu al Mi, diras la Eternulo Cebaot, kaj tiam Mi returnos Min al vi, diras la Eternulo Cebaot.

Therefore say thou vnto them, Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, Turne ye vnto me, saith the Lord of hostes, and I will turne vnto you, saith the Lord of hostes.

4 Ne estu kiel viaj patroj, al kiuj vokadis la antaŭaj profetoj, dirante: Tiele diras la Eternulo Cebaot: Deturnu vin de viaj malbonaj vojoj kaj de viaj malbonaj agoj — sed ili ne aŭskultis kaj ne atentis Min, diras la Eternulo.

Be ye not as your fathers, vnto whome the former prophets haue cried, saying, Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, Turne you nowe from your euill wayes, and from your wicked workes: but they would not heare, nor hearken vnto me, saith the Lord.

5 Kie estas viaj patroj? kaj eĉ la profetoj, ĉu ili povas vivi eterne?

your fathers, where are they? and doe the Prophets liue for euer?

6 Sed Miaj vortoj kaj decidoj, pri kiuj Mi diris al Miaj servantoj, la profetoj, ĉu ili ne trafis viajn patrojn? Kaj ili pentis, kaj diris: Kiel la Eternulo Cebaot decidis agi kun ni pro niaj vojoj kaj pro niaj agoj, tiel Li agis kun ni.

But did not my wordes and my statutes, which I commanded by my seruants ye Prophets, take holde of your fathers? and they returned, and sayd, As the Lord of hostes hath determined to doe vnto vs, according to our owne wayes, and according to our workes, so hath hee dealt with vs.

7 En la dudek-kvara tago de la dek-unua monato, tio estas de la monato Ŝebat, en la dua jaro de Dario, aperis vorto de la Eternulo al la profeto Zeĥarja, filo de Bereĥja, filo de Ido, dirante:

Vpon the foure and twentieth day of the eleuenth moneth, which is the moneth Shebat, in the second yeere of Darius, came the worde of the Lord vnto Zechariah the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Iddo the Prophet, saying,

8 Mi vidis en la nokto: jen viro sidas sur ruĝa ĉevalo, kaj li troviĝas inter mirtoj en ombrita loko, kaj post li troviĝas ĉevaloj ruĝaj, brunaj, kaj blankaj.

I saw by night, and behold a man riding vpon a red horse, and hee stood among the mirre trees, that were in a bottome, and behinde him were there red horses speckeled and white.

9 Mi demandis: Kiuj ili estas, mia sinjoro? Kaj la anĝelo, kiu parolis kun mi, diris al mi: Mi montros al vi, kiuj ili estas.

Then sayd I, O my Lord, what are these? And the Angel that talked with me, sayde vnto me, I wil shew thee what these be.

10 Kaj la viro, kiu troviĝis inter la mirtoj, ekparolis kaj diris: Ili estas tiuj, kiujn la Eternulo sendis, por trairi la teron.

And the man that stood among the mirre trees, answered, and sayd, These are they whome the Lord hath sent to go through the world.

11 Kaj ili mem ekparolis al la anĝelo de la Eternulo, kiu troviĝis inter la mirtoj, kaj diris: Ni trairis la teron, kaj ni trovis, ke la tuta tero estas trankvila kaj paca.

And they answered the Angel of the Lord, that stood among the mirre trees, and sayd, We haue gone thorowe the world: and beholde, all the world sitteth still, and is at rest.

12 Tiam ekparolis la anĝelo de la Eternulo kaj diris: Ho Eternulo Cebaot, kiel longe Vi ne kompatos Jerusalemon kaj la urbojn de Judujo, kiujn Vi koleras jam dum sepdek jaroj?

Then the Angel of the Lord answered and sayd, O Lord of hostes, howe long wilt thou be vnmercifull to Ierusalem, and to the cities of Iudah, with whom thou hast bene displeased now these threescore and ten yeeres?

13 Kaj la Eternulo respondis al la anĝelo, kiu parolis kun mi, vortojn bonajn, vortojn konsolajn.

And the Lord answered the Angel that talked with me, with good wordes and comfortable wordes.

14 Tiam diris al mi la anĝelo, kiu parolis kun mi: Proklamu kaj diru: Tiele diras la Eternulo Cebaot: Mi ekfervoris pri Jerusalem kaj pri Cion per granda fervoro;

So the Angel that communed with me, said vnto me, Crie thou, and speake, Thus saith the Lord of hostes, I am ielous ouer Ierusalem and Zion with a great zeale,

15 kaj per granda indigno Mi indignas kontraŭ la nacioj memfidaj; ĉar kiam Mi koleris malmulte, ili akcelis la malfeliĉon.

And am greatly angrie against the carelesse heathen: for I was angrie but a litle, and they helped forward the affliction.

16 Tial tiele diras la Eternulo: Mi returnas Min al Jerusalem kun kompato; Mia domo estos konstruita en ĝi, diras la Eternulo Cebaot, kaj ŝnuro de ĉarpentistoj estos tirata en Jerusalem.

Therefore thus saith the Lord, I wil returne vnto Ierusalem with tender mercie: mine house shall be builded in it, saith the Lord of hostes, and a line shall be stretched vpon Ierusalem.

17 Ankoraŭ proklamu jenon: Tiele diras la Eternulo Cebaot: Denove pleniĝos Miaj urboj per bonaĵo, denove la Eternulo konsolos Cionon, kaj denove Li elektos Jerusalemon.

Cry yet, and speake, Thus saith the Lord of hostes, My cities shall yet be broken with plentie: the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet chuse Ierusalem.

18 Mi levis miajn okulojn kaj ekvidis: jen estas kvar kornoj.

Then lift I vp mine eyes and sawe, and beholde, foure hornes.

19 Kaj mi diris al la anĝelo, kiu parolis kun mi: Kion tio signifas? Kaj li respondis al mi: Tio estas la kornoj, kiuj disĵetis Jehudan, Izraelon, kaj Jerusalemon.

And I said vnto the Angel that talked with me, What be these? And hee answered me, These are the hornes which haue scattered Iudah, Israel, and Ierusalem.

20 Kaj la Eternulo montris al mi kvar majstrojn.

And the Lord shewed me foure carpenters.

21 Mi diris: Kion ili intencas fari? Li respondis jene: Tiuj kornoj disĵetis Jehudan tiel, ke neniu povis levi sian kapon; tial nun venas ĉi tiuj, por fortimigi tiujn, por dehaki la kornojn de la nacioj, kiuj levis sian kornon kontraŭ la loĝantojn de Judujo, por disĵeti ilin.

Then said I, What come these to doe? And he answered, and said, These are the hornes, which haue scattered Iudah, so that a man durst not lift vp his head: but these are come to fray them, and to cast out the hornes of the Gentiles, which lift vp their horne ouer the land of Iudah, to scatter it.
