1 Kiel belaj estas viaj paŝoj en sandaloj, ho filino de princo! La svingado de viaj femuroj estas kiel ĉenringoj, Majstre ellaboritaj.
Douytir of the prince, thi goyngis ben ful faire in schoon; the ioyncturis of thi heppis ben as brochis, that ben maad bi the hond of a crafti man.
2 Via umbiliko estas kiel ronda pokalo, Al kiu trinkaĵo ne mankas; Via ventro estas kiel amaso da tritiko ĉirkaŭita de rozoj;
Thi nawle is as a round cuppe, and wel formed, that hath neuere nede to drynkis; thi wombe is as an heep of whete, biset aboute with lilies.
3 Viaj du mamoj estas kiel du cervidoj, Ĝemeloj de gazelino;
Thi twei teetis ben as twei kidis, twynnes of a capret.
4 Via kolo estas kiel turo el eburo; Viaj okuloj kiel la lagetoj en Ĥeŝbon, ĉe la pordego de Bat-Rabim; Via nazo estas kiel la turo de Lebanon rigardanta Damaskon;
Thi necke is as a tour of yuer; thin iyen ben as cisternes in Esebon, that ben in the yate of the douyter of multitude; thi nose is as the tour of Liban, that biholdith ayens Damask.
5 Via kapo sur vi estas kiel Karmel, Kaj la harbukloj de via kapo kiel la purpura robo de la reĝo, falde kunligita.
Thin heed is as Carmele; and the heeres of thin heed ben as the kyngis purpur, ioyned to trowyis.
6 Kiel bela kaj kiel ĉarma estas mia amatino inter la plezuroj!
Dereworthe spousesse, thou art ful fair, and ful schappli in delices.
7 Via staturo similas la palmotrunkon, Kaj viaj mamoj la vinberarojn.
Thi stature is licned to a palm tree, and thi tetis to clustris of grapis.
8 Mi diris: Mi suprengrimpos la palmotrunkon kaj teniĝos je ĝiaj branĉoj; Kaj viaj mamoj estu kiel la penikoj de la vinbertrunko, Kaj la bonodoro de via nazo kiel la bonodoro de citronoj;
I seide, Y schal stie in to a palm tree, and Y schal take the fruytis therof. And thi tetis schulen be as the clustris of grapis of a vyner; and the odour of thi mouth as the odour of pumgranatis;
9 Kaj via palato kiel vino bongusta, Kiu englitiĝas ĉarmege kaj glate, Kiu paroligas la lipojn de la dormantoj.
thi throte schal be as beste wyn. Worthi to my derlyng for to drynke, and to hise lippis and teeth to chewe.
10 Mi apartenas al mia amato, Kaj li sin tiras al mi.
Y schal cleue by loue to my derlyng, and his turnyng schal be to me.
11 Venu, mia amato, ni eliru sur la kamparon; Ni enloĝiĝu en la vilaĝoj.
Come thou, my derlyng, go we out in to the feeld; dwelle we togidere in townes.
12 Frumatene ni iru al la vinberĝardenoj; Ni rigardu, ĉu la vinbertrunko jam burĝonis, Ĉu ĝiaj floroj jam malfermiĝis, Ĉu la granatarboj jam floras; Tie mi donos al vi mian amon.
Ryse we eerli to the vyner; se we, if the vyner hath flourid, if the flouris bryngen forth fruytis, if pumgranatis han flourid; there I schal yyue to thee my tetis.
13 La mandragoroj jam bonodoras, Kaj apud nia enirejo troviĝas delikataj fruktoj ĉiuspecaj, fruaj kaj malfruaj, Kiujn mi provizis por vi, ho mia amato!
Mandrogoris han youe her odour in oure yatis; my derlyng, Y haue kept to thee alle applis, new and elde.
