Psalmaro 9
1 Al la ĥorestro. Por mut-labeno. Psalmo de David. Mi gloros Vin, ho Eternulo, per mia tuta koro; Mi rakontos ĉiujn Viajn mirindaĵojn.
“To the chief musician upon Muthlabben, a psalm of David.” I will thank the Lord with all my heart: I will relate all thy marvelous deeds.
2 Mi ĝojos kaj triumfos pro Vi; Mi kantos Vian nomon, ho Vi Plejalta.
I will rejoice and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High:
3 Ĉar miaj malamikoj turniĝas malantaŭen, Ili falas kaj pereas antaŭ Vi.
When my enemies are turned backward, [when] they fall and perish at thy presence.
4 Ĉar Vi faris por mi juĝon kaj plenumon de leĝo; Vi sidiĝis sur la trono, Vi justa juĝanto.
For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.
5 Vi indignis kontraŭ la popoloj, Vi pereigis malpiulojn, Ilian nomon Vi ekstermis por ĉiam kaj eterne.
Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.
6 La malamikoj malaperis, ruiniĝis por ĉiam; Iliajn urbojn Vi renversis, La memoro pri ili pereis kune kun ili.
O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed, —lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.
7 Sed la Eternulo restas eterne, Li pretigis Sian tronon por juĝo.
But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.
8 Kaj Li juĝos la mondon kun justeco, Li plenumos leĝojn inter la popoloj kun senpartieco.
And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.
9 Kaj la Eternulo estos rifuĝo por la premato, Rifuĝo en la tempo de mizero.
The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.
10 Kaj esperos al Vi tiuj, kiuj konas Vian nomon, Ĉar Vi ne forlasas tiujn, kiuj serĉas Vin, ho Eternulo.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.
11 Kantu al la Eternulo, kiu loĝas sur Cion, Rakontu inter la popoloj Liajn farojn.
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.
12 Ĉar venĝante por la sango, Li memoras pri ili, Li ne forgesas la krion de malfeliĉuloj.
For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.
13 Estu favora al mi, ho Eternulo; Vidu, kion mi suferas de miaj malamikoj, Vi, kiu suprenlevas min el la pordegoj de la morto,
Be gracious unto me, O Lord; have regard to my affliction [coming] from those that hate me, thou who liftest me up from the gates of death:
14 Por ke mi rakontu Vian tutan gloron En la pordegoj de la filino de Cion Kaj mi ĝoju pro Via savo.
In order that I may relate all thy praises in the gates of the daughters of Zion: I will be glad in thy salvation.
15 Eniĝis la popoloj en la kavon, kiun ili elfosis; En la reton, kiun ili metis, enkaptiĝis ilia piedo.
Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.
16 Oni ekkonas la Eternulon laŭ la juĝo, kiun Li faris; Per la faroj de siaj manoj estas kaptita la malpiulo. Higajon. (Sela)
The Lord is made known: he executed justice: through the doing of his own hands is the wicked ensnared. Higgayon, (Selah)
The wicked shall return into hell, all the nations that are forgetful of God. (Sheol h7585)
18 Ĉar ne por ĉiam malriĉulo estos forgesita, Kaj la espero de mizeruloj ne pereos por eterne.
For not everlastingly shall the needy be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 Leviĝu, ho Eternulo, ke homoj ne tro fortiĝu; La popoloj estu juĝataj antaŭ Via vizaĝo.
Arise, O Lord; let not the mortal boast of his strength; let nations be judged before thy face.
20 Metu, ho Eternulo, timon sur ilin, La popoloj sciu, ke ili estas homoj. (Sela)
Place, O Lord, fear over them: let nations know, that they are but mortals. (Selah)
