Psalmaro 86

1 Preĝo de David. Klinu, ho Eternulo, Vian orelon, aŭskultu min; Ĉar mi estas mizera kaj malriĉa.

A Prayer of David. Incline, O Jehovah, Thine ear, Answer me, for I [am] poor and needy.

2 Konservu mian animon, ĉar mi estas fidela; Ho Vi, mia Dio, helpu Vian sklavon, kiu fidas Vin.

Keep my soul, for I [am] pious, Save Thy servant — who is trusting to Thee, O Thou, my God.

3 Korfavoru min, ho mia Sinjoro, Ĉar mi vokas al Vi la tutan tagon.

Favour me, O Lord, for to Thee I call all the day.

4 Ĝojigu la animon de Via sklavo, Ĉar al Vi, ho mia Sinjoro, mi levas mian animon.

Rejoice the soul of Thy servant, For unto Thee, O Lord, my soul I lift up.

5 Ĉar Vi, mia Sinjoro, estas bona kaj pardonema Kaj tre favora por ĉiuj, kiuj Vin vokas.

For Thou, Lord, [art] good and forgiving. And abundant in kindness to all calling Thee.

6 Aŭskultu, ho Eternulo, mian preĝon, Kaj atentu la voĉon de mia petego.

Hear, O Jehovah, my prayer, And attend to the voice of my supplications.

7 En tago de mia sufero mi Vin vokas, Por ke Vi aŭskultu min.

In a day of my distress I call Thee, For Thou dost answer me.

8 Ne ekzistas simila al Vi inter la dioj, ho mia Sinjoro, Kaj ne ekzistas faroj kiel Viaj.

There is none like Thee among the gods, O Lord, And like Thy works there are none.

9 Ĉiuj popoloj, kiujn Vi kreis, venos kaj kliniĝos antaŭ Via vizaĝo, ho mia Sinjoro, Kaj honoros Vian nomon.

All nations that Thou hast made Come and bow themselves before Thee, O Lord, And give honour to Thy name.

10 Ĉar Vi estas granda kaj Vi faras miraklojn; Vi sola estas Dio.

For great [art] Thou, and doing wonders, Thou [art] God Thyself alone.

11 Montru al mi, ho Eternulo, Vian vojon, por ke mi iru en Via vero; Dediĉu mian koron al la respektado de Via nomo.

Show me, O Jehovah, Thy way, I walk in Thy truth, My heart doth rejoice to fear Thy name.

12 Mi dankos Vin, ho mia Sinjoro, mia Dio, per mia tuta koro, Kaj mi honoros Vian nomon eterne.

I confess Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I honour Thy name to the age.

13 Ĉar granda estas Via boneco al mi; Kaj Vi savis mian animon el la profundo de Ŝeol. (Sheol h7585)

For Thy kindness [is] great toward me, And Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)

14 Ho Dio, fieruloj leviĝis kontraŭ mi, Kaj anaro da premantoj serĉas mian animon Kaj ne havas Vin antaŭ si.

O God, the proud have risen up against me, And a company of the terrible sought my soul, And have not placed Thee before them,

15 Sed Vi, mia Sinjoro, estas Dio kompatema kaj favorkora, Longetolerema kaj tre bona kaj verama.

And Thou, O Lord, [art] God, merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth.

16 Turnu Vin al mi kaj korfavoru min, Donu Vian forton al Via sklavo, Kaj helpu la filon de Via sklavino.

Look unto me, and favour me, Give Thy strength to Thy servant, And give salvation to a son of Thine handmaid.

17 Faru super mi signon por bono, Por ke miaj malamantoj vidu kaj hontiĝu, Ĉar Vi, ho Eternulo, min helpos kaj konsolos.

Do with me a sign for good, And those hating me see and are ashamed, For Thou, O Jehovah, hast helped me, Yea, Thou hast comforted me!
