Psalmaro 52
1 Al la ĥorestro. Instruo de David, kiam venis Doeg, la Edomido, kaj raportis al Saul, kaj diris al li: David venis en la domon de Aĥimeleĥ. Kial vi fanfaronas pro malbono, ho tirano? La boneco de Dio estas ĉiama.
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of Instruction, of David. When Doeg the Edomite went, and told Saul; and said to him, —David, hath entered the house of Ahimelech. Why dost thou boast thyself of wickedness, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of GOD, [lasteth] all the day.
2 Pereon intencas via lango, Kiel akrigita razilo ĝi tranĉas malicon.
Engulfing ruin, doth thy tongue devise, Like a whetted razor, working deceit;
3 Vi pli amas malbonon, ol bonon; Pli mensogi, ol diri veron. (Sela)
Thou lovest Evil more than good, Falsehood, more than speaking righteousness. (Selah)
4 Vi amas ĉian parolon pereigan, Parolon malican.
Thou lovest all devouring words, O deceitful tongue!
5 Tial Dio pereigos vin por ĉiam, Elŝiros vin el via tendo, Kaj elĵetos vin el la lando de la vivantoj. (Sela)
GOD also, will break thee down utterly, He will snatch thee up and tear thee away tentless, And uproot thee, out of the land of the living. (Selah)
6 Kaj virtuloj vidos kaj ektimos, Kaj pri li ili ridos, dirante:
The righteous shall both see and fear, And, over him, shall laugh:
7 Jen estas la viro, kiu ne en Dio vidis sian forton, Sed fidis sian grandan riĉecon, Sentis sin forta per sia malbonpovado.
Lo! the man who made not God his refuge, —But trusted in the abundance of his riches, Emboldened himself in his wealth!
8 Kaj mi, kiel verda olivarbo en la domo de Dio, Fidas la bonecon de Dio ĉiam kaj eterne.
But, I, am like a flourishing olive-tree, in the house of God, I have put confidence in the lovingkindness of God, for times age-abiding and beyond.
9 Mi dankos Vin eterne por tio, kion Vi faris, Kaj mi esperos al Via nomo, ĉar Vi estas bona por Viaj fideluloj.
I will praise thee to times age-abiding, Because thou didst effectually work, —And I will wait on thy Name, Because it is good, In the presence of thy men of lovingkindness.
