Psalmaro 46
1 Al la ĥorestro. De la Koraĥidoj. Por sopranuloj. Kanto. Dio estas por ni rifuĝejo kaj forto, Helpo en mizeroj, rapide trovata.
“For the leader of the music. Of, or for, the sons of Korah. To be sung in the manner, or with the voice, of virgins.” God is our refuge and strength; An ever present help in trouble.
2 Tial ni ne timas, eĉ se pereus la tero Kaj la montoj falus en la internon de la maroj.
Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be changed; Though the mountains tremble in the heart of the sea;
3 Bruu, bolu Liaj akvoj, Tremu la montoj de ilia fiera ondado. (Sela)
Though its waters roar and be troubled, And the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. (Pause)
4 Estas rivero, kies torentoj ĝojigas la urbon de Dio, La sanktan loĝejon de la Plejaltulo.
A river with its streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling-place of the Most High.
5 Dio estas en ĝia mezo, ĝi ne ŝanceliĝos; Dio ĝin helpas en frua mateno.
God is the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her, and that full early.
6 Ekbruis popoloj, ekŝanceliĝis regnoj; Li sonigis Sian voĉon, kaj la tero fandiĝis.
The nations raged; kingdoms were moved; He uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 La Eternulo Cebaot estas kun ni; Nia defendo estas la Dio de Jakob. (Sela)
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Pause)
8 Iru, rigardu la farojn de la Eternulo, Kiu faris detruojn sur la tero,
Come, behold the doings of the LORD; What desolations he hath made in the earth!
9 Kiu ĉesigas militojn ĝis la fino de la tero, Rompas pafarkon, rompas ponardegon, Forbruligas veturilojn per fajro.
He causeth wars to cease to the end of the earth; He hath broken the bow, and snapped the spear asunder, And burned the chariots in fire.
10 Cedu, kaj sciu, ke Mi estas Dio; Mi estas glora inter la popoloj, Mi estas glora sur la tero.
“Desist, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted throughout the earth!”
11 La Eternulo Cebaot estas kun ni; Nia defendo estas la Dio de Jakob. (Sela)
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.
